Vacation rentals with a washer and dryer in Volcano

Jenny’s place is in a great location. She was very responsive and took great care of us. I would highly recommend a stay here if you are ever in Hilo! We needed an iron and ironing board and Jenny ordered and had one delivered right away. She is wonderful!

If you love quality craftsmanship and expert re-use of period building materials in a compact setting with island flair, you will love your stay here. Tony and Larissa were attentive and gracious hosts, and made us feel right at home. We will definitely stay again next time in Hilo.

We had an amazing stay at this place! The space was clean, comfortable, and exactly as described in the listing. The location was perfect, with plenty of restaurants and shops nearby in Hilo. Naomi was incredibly welcoming and responsive, making sure I had everything we needed. I highly recommend this spot to anyone visiting the area and we would definitely stay here again. Amazing stay at the banana cabana! The area was peaceful and a good center point around Hilo and volcanoes national park. The space is well designed, clean, had AC and washer/dryer. Included beach chairs, grill, and a beautiful veranda to enjoy your coffee. The yard has fruit trees, geckos, and lots of coqui frogs and we were able to enjoy some strawberry guavas as well! Honestly one of the best Airbnbs we’ve stayed in. Also has shampoo, conditioner, body wash, comfortable linens, updated shower. The only consideration is to bring white noise or ear plugs if you are sensitive to noise, the coqui frogs can be very loud at night.

Even we have to drive quite a bit to Hilo but I really love Pahoa and Kalapana. It was so special and charming to us. Thanks David and Jacob for their warm and care. The studio is nice, clean, fit to us and the price is reasonable. I will be back again Love Andrew and Hong

We loved our time at Dana's place. Everything was as expected, with very clear instructions on how to access the space. It's a very peaceful and well-appointed place, making it clear that they've taken lots of care to set this space up for guests. There is a nice hot tub for evening relaxation and a beautiful pond in the garden to enjoy some coffee in the morning! The space offers everything you could need if you wanted to cater for yourself as well!

Another wonderful stay for an artist at Samʻs place. They raved about the location and how easily walkable everything was. They also loved the thoughtful touches, tranquil decor, and peaceful vibe. They felt quite at home and completely enjoyed their stay.

Amazing location and great hosts! Had a great time at Kathy's place - perfect spot to explore the east side of the island. It's close to downtown Hilo, and both Volcano National park and Mauna Kea are a little over 30 minutes away. Would definitely consider again. One word of caution, sensitive sleepers should bring earplugs - the house is in a residential area with plenty of wild chickens. They can get loud in the morning.

Vanessa’s place was very convenient and just a short drive from Volcano National Park, so if your main purpose is to visit the park, this property is great! The house had almost everything we needed (would’ve loved to have a coffee maker and some coffee powder!) and was very clean. Will definitely come back again!

We enjoyed staying in this comfortable home last year and again now. The sunroom and dining room let us enjoy family time. The neighborhood is beautiful and we even met a few neighbors. It felt like home. Thank you, Candace, for another wonderful stay.

Wonderful place to stay. As a family of 6, there was plenty of space for everyone. Stocked kitchen and laundry was a plus. Super close to Volcano NP. Just the gate lock gave us issues trying to shut it-a little sticky.

We very much enjoyed our stay at this home. It is in a very very quiet locals neighborhood with nice views of the water in the distance. It is super comfy and nicely equipped. The deck is amazing for cocktails at happy hour or tea in the morning. It is a short drive to Isaac Hale Beach and a few hikes and beaches. Volcano National Park and the funky town of Pahoa are close by. Pahoa has a terrific natural food store for provisions. If you are more into the touristy stuff like Kona then this is not for you. We highly recommend this property!

I love how the place was decorated of the Star Wars theme. My boys are huge fans of the franchise. The kids had lots of fun seeing all the decor, playing with toys, and adults played the board games. The house was very spacious for a group of 11 of us. The house is cool because the lava burned down the house next door and there are steam vents now in front and all around the property making it look like a land from Star Wars. There was A/C in the home which was great because it can get warm and humid sometimes. There was still hair in the shower in the main bedroom but I think it’s because the hosts maybe live there and it was booked last minute. The host greeted us and showed us the place quickly and they made sure we had everything we needed. The house was pricey but super cool for one night and worth it to see my boys nerd-out for one night and just be in awe with all the cool decor.

We loved Megan home! So spacious and very comfortable lots. My family was in town for a wedding, the location of the home was very convenient for the wedding and things to do in Hilo! We are definitely going to come back and stay here!

Betty's house was perfect for our stay in Hilo area. Very well equipped kitchen, spacious for up to 5 adults and a toddler. Appreciated beach access a short walk down a nice path at end of road. Highly recommend!

The house was beautiful, clean and very spacious. It could accommodate our group of 8 very easily with room to spare. The kitchen had everything we needed and more as well as the rooms and bathrooms. The host was very nice and easy to communicate with. The instructions were clear and easy to follow. We are definitely saving this listing for the next time we are in that side. It was perfect!

Place was great for a family of 4. Great location and beautiful view. Host was very helpful and responsive.

I stayed in this condo with my traveling party for Christmas Day and several days afterwards. This condo was a peaceful location to celebrate the holiday and to enjoy the big island. The condo was quiet, clean, and comfortable for our stay. While the unit did not have an AC unit, there were plenty of windows and floor fans to be comfortable in the temperate climate. The owners were very responsive over messaging to answer our questions. The property manager was also helpful during our stay. The building has private washing machines and dryers, and was able to use them with quarters. A dedicated parking spot was available for the unit so no need to worry about an available spot after exploring. The couch and living room area were nice for relaxation, and there is an excellent collection of movies for quiet days in the condo.

Carrie's place is simply wonderful. It is very spacious--much more than your typical AirBnB--and sparking clean and new. And it is very, very private and quiet. There is a lovely view of Hilo Bay from the hammock on the porch. There is also a terrific small beach right nearby which is a great place to hang and watch kooks learn to surf. But mostly, you have all of the east side available to you, from the botanic gardens to the volcano. We highly recommend.

Lovely and spacious for my 3 month stay for work. All the amenities that I needed for cooking and cleaning, communal laundry in bldg, good wifi coverage. Safe and walkable to downtown which I loved. Small amount of noise with neighbours and ants/insects which are expected to some degree being in an apt bldg, in the tropics. I would definitely stay there again:)

Nice private lanai area with table for eating, and comfortable hammock. They have a small cooler and some beach supplies which was very handy. Lots of kitchen supplies if you plan to do some cooking. It was quiet when we stayed. Convient drive to old downtown, banyan park and to the Saddle road. Joe and Cindy were quick to respond to any questions I had.

I enjoyed every day of my month long stay! The view of Carlsmith Park from the room was great. If you feel like it all you have to do is walk practically only 100 feet and you have some great snorkeling. The place is a short drive from downtown Hilo. The one thing I would draw attention to is the lack of AC however using the screen door you get a sea breeze off the water which works out. Sometimes I had to use a fan but the fan paired with the sea breeze was more than comfortable. All in all I would definitely recommend this place
