Our stay was excellent! The hosts were incredibly communicative and responsive. We had a team of engineers staying for work near by, and the house was perfectly suited for our 2 week stay. Bedrooms and bathrooms were private and the communal area (kitchen, sitting room, dining room) were very spacious. The back garden view including the regular visits by deer was excellent to wake up to! Highly recommend for both work and pleasure!

Superb home, warm, comfortable and spacious. Great host, helpful and attentive with questions etc. without intruding. Nice welcome gifts of milk, cider and crisps. From minute 1 of booking this amazing lodge David was extremely responsive and friendly. This gave us a warm idea of what was to come. Upon arrival we were then greeted by another very kind and welcoming lady (didn’t catch her name sorry) who shown us into the perfect cottage with extreme politeness. The lodge was filled with everything needed, hot tub was warm on arrival, TV was huge and could be rotated (can even face the hottub. This was a bonus for us as we are movie geeks 👍🏽 The kitchen was stunning and some essentials were provided that we actually forgot to bring (salt, pepper, oil). Cannot fault a single bit of the stay. Immaculate. The outside porch was tremendous too. It is closed off nice so that even when you’re in or out the hot tub you feel 0 draft. Upon leaving we spoke to 3 lovely ladies, 2 cleaners and 1 other lady who was also super lovely (sorry no names again). This is the second time we've stayed at The Pretty Fox, and we loved it--again! It's a very cosy house that has many historic features, and Wanda and Tom make you feel completely "at home." It's also a perfect place for walking into Diss, which is a great little town. We highly recommend this home.

Amazing place to stay, great places to eat close by and the perfect location to explore other towns and villages close by. loren was a friendly host who was always responsive. The house was bigger than expected in the best way and had everything we needed to have nights in as well as a home away from home to come back to after a full day out. Our dog Tifa loved walked along the sea front and had the best seaside zoomies at st Cyrus. Thank you for the lovely stay

we stayed here for my partners birthday. i’ve stayed in a lot of different Airbnb’s but Julie was by far the loveliest host i’ve had so far; flexible check in/out, loads of local recommendations, always responsive on messages. her home is on a peaceful main street and still feels rustic whilst still having all the modern amenities which is something i love. the house is filled with great books, comfy beds, games, cookware etc. a perfect stay, we cannot recommend enough. a perfect base if you want to explore Wigtown / Port William / Isle of Whithorn.

Hands down THE best AirBnB I have stayed in and I am already making plans to come back! Sarah was really responsive and friendly before we arrived and was flexible with check-in and check-out times. When we got there, she had left an amazing basket of goodies including treats for the dog. The house is ideally located for exploring the Giant's Causeway and the amazing beaches of Benone and Castlerock (which are also dog friendly). Locally, there is a shopping centre on one side (with M&S foodhall and Costa coffee) and the Bann riverside walk and Somerset Forest on the other - both great for walking. The house had everything we needed including washing machine and tumble drier and was warm and cosy (shame the weather didn't allow us to use the beautiful patio garden). Thank you Sarah, we loved it and had an amazing time!

Stayed here for a couple nights as we had a wedding nearby. Lovely house, very spacious and clean. David even left us some Scones on arrival! Would definitely recommend it.

Myself, my partner and our dog have just returned home after a 2 night stay at Debbie's private apartment. We arrived later than expected, but we were greeted as soon as we got to the drive away. The apartment was exactly how it was shown, very clean, cosy and the bed was very comfy! We really enjoyed our stay, we visited Putsborough beach which was a 15 minute drive away and we also went for dinner at Ebrington Arms, which was a 3 minute drive away. Thanks again for a great stay!

As a couple with a dog seeking a weekend break Dunollie at Balquhidder was perfect for us. Cosy and spotlessly clean, in a great location for walks and the excellent Mhor84 just down the road for a superb breakfast. A perfect break for us, thank you Alison and Hannah.

Another nice stay here. It suits our needs, is well situated in the centre of town, but still quiet.

Teresa's place was perfect for a short break in Port Rush, the apartment was super clean and cosy for relaxing in. Teresa explained how to access the property with easy to understand instructions.

Fabulous apartment in a central location! Easy to walk to places but also bus stops near by and cheap taxi rides if you don’t want to walk. Had almost everything you needed in the apartment, and it was very clean and welcoming. We loved the layout of the apartment and it was bigger than we expected. Communication and instructions from hosts were clear. Would recommend and stay in again.

A Perfect Stay at Whiterocks Beach Our stay to celebrate my niece’s 30th was nothing short of exceptional! We were warmly welcomed by Ruth with flowers and wine and Ruth also checked to make sure we had arrived safely and had all we needed. We were blown away by the stunning views, the peaceful atmosphere, and the thoughtful touches throughout the home. The property itself is beautifully designed—spotlessly clean, stylish and incredibly comfortable. Waking up to the view and enjoying a morning coffee while overlooking Whiterocks Beach was an experience we won’t forget. The location is unbeatable, just a short walk down steps to the beach and within easy reach of the Giant’s Causeway, Dunluce Castle and Portrush. Dunluce Lodge (new 5 star hotel) is also opening at the end of February (sadly not open when we were there) and it too is in very easy walking distance. Highly recommend and we most definitely will return. Thank you Ruth!

Beautiful spot for our trip to the lakes! Hot tub was lovely and very clean and quiet! Place was lovely! Grand suite was stunning and the bath and walk in shower made us never want to leave!! Won’t be our last stay

Great house, lots of space and in a nice area of Inverness. Lovely to have extra bits like the soaps, toilet paper, towels, tea coffee, nibbles and a welcome bottle was much appreciated.

We stayed for three nights over half term. The photos don’t quite do this place justice - I’m not exactly an architectural connoisseur but the place is stunningly designed with bifold doors straight onto the beach and a fire with ‘floating chimney’ visible from 360 degrees in the living area. Jo was an amazing host and showed us around personally, as well as supplying a very nice welcome pack and ample firewood! Whilst being right on the beach, this always felt like a very peaceful location. We enjoyed being able to do a bit of beach combing from the door as well as walk to the nearby nature reserve. Also had a very nice day out at West Wittering which is a relatively short drive. The weather was mixed during our stay (it was February!), but this the place is equally well equipped for a bracing walk followed by time by the log fire and more sunny days. Would definitely recommend for anyone looking for a short break by the sea.

Absolutely wonderful! The space was spacious and beautifully decorated. The hot bath was incredibly relaxing after a long hike, providing the perfect way to unwind. It was a serene and picturesque getaway, ideal for recharging and enjoying nature. I highly recommend it for anyone looking for a peaceful retreat!

Jerry was super responsive and responded within minutes whenever we needed something, which was really appreciated (even around midnight 😅). The house is beautiful, very well furnished. Hot tub was a favourite and the river is incredibly scenic.

Great house for New Year with a family ranging from 12 weeks to 76 with dogs. Grandparents really appreciated the cottage, which gave them space in very close proximity to the house & younger members of the family.
