Quite Country Home

AllisonRating, 5 stars2 months ago
My job extended my work contract and I needed a place to stay. When I booked this place I was excited! it looked quite and peacful, and perfect. I did not realize how true this would be. to say this place was perfect is an understatement. i felt right at home. To be honest, I didn't want to leave. Brian was absolutely amazing. Responded right away if I needed somthing, and was just so kind. As I said this was a perfect peaceful experience! I loved being surrounded by nature, seeing all the wild animals come through, and loved sitting fire side at night. I truly hope and cannot wait to go back. It is nice to know there is a place out there that feels like home with wonderful people around you.

Serene forest retreat in picturesque modern cabin

MarkRating, 5 stars1 week ago
AirBnBs do not always live up to expectations/images but Little Rock exceeded! The design is beautiful and furnishings are pristine, the house is well-stocked comfortable and cozy, and sweet and playful details abound. Gorgeous star views from the back porch! Hope to return in summer and enjoy the screen porch.

Architect's Farmhouse in Woodstock

DustinRating, 5 stars3 days ago
We had a great stay and especially enjoyed the fireplace in the cozy living room. The kids' room was another hit in a house full of charm (it obviously has a lot of history). The drive is very easy from Mike's secluded place into town for restaurants and shops and groceries.

18th Century Colonial Stone House

JaredRating, 5 stars2 months ago
Third stay at Wynkoop House; not much to say beyond my previous reviews except to say that the fourth stay is already booked. This is a truly special and memorable property that is great for sharing with a group of friends who appreciate a curatorial but relaxed approach to living with antiques and a sense of history. Convenient to Kingston, Saugerties, and — a bit further afield — Hudson. Will be back!

I cannot say enough good things about our stay. Amy and Lloyd first of all were some of the kindest hosts I have ever had and we stay in Airbnbs multiple times a year. We were coming to Poughkeepsie unfortunately for funeral services of a close family member. They checked in with us a few times before we arrived and once we got there ensured that everything was to our liking. Fresh flowers, a beautiful little note and even a bottle of local wine. The house was exactly as described and in a nice, quiet area of the city. Super convenient to get everywhere we needed to go. House felt like home. Our dogs even loved it as they didn’t bark once while they were there and usually they are a little anxious staying in a new place! They even left a little food bowl and little toys for them to enjoy. We will definitely be back. Beds were comfortable, perfect little spot. Thank you again Amy and Lloyd!

Huge Cozy Farmhouse

ThomasRating, 5 stars8 months ago
Once upon a time, Airbnb folks rented out their homes- the places that they actually lived in! Pete & Halle’s late 1800’s farm house is a throwback to that era. A home lived in and loved in. Well worn wide planked floors take you on a journey through three floors that are a veritable treasure trove of eclectic art, and books, and keepsakes. This is the stuff of their lives. It is not some homogenized rental, swept clean of all traces of it’s owners. From the roomy eat in kitchen, to the cozy den and wrap around porch, there are plenty of opportunities to spend time together- or by yourself. Immersed in the hills and woods surrounding New Paltz, yet mere minutes to town, four of us adults- and our dog- thoroughly enjoyed our stay. While our hosts were out of town during our stay, they were very responsive to any queries. Soak it up, treat their home with respect and enjoy. We look forward to our return.
