The barn is homey, tasteful, restorative, welcoming, and understated. It’s perfect as a launchpad to all the Hudson has to offer or a bunker to stay put with your friends. Highly recommend!

The place is amazing. So close to Phoenicia and great hiking and yet remote enough that you will rarely see a car on your road. The stars at night! Definitely plan on sitting out and stargazing on a clear night. There seems to be a disconnect sometimes in reviews for mountain cabins. I have seen people rant as if they expected a Four Seasons accommodation in the middle of the woods. It is an outdoor house during the cooling fall months so, yes, there may be a mouse or two you may see or hear, but that is the nature of nearly every home this time of year and especially remote wooded homes. Just saying so you have an accurate picture of where you are going and don't attack the host or ding the review (I once saw a review for a Catskills house that said it was "difficult to get to" and "remote". LOL) Can't wait to return. Such a great find.

What a cute cottage! Soooo peaceful right on the water. Exactly what you would imagine when you hear the words Babbling Brook. Even in drizzly weather it was serene. The town is very easy to get to. I would recommend by car versus foot as the roads have no shoulders. Lots of fun shops, friendly people, and pleasant trails to wander in town. The cottage itself had everything that was needed for a lovely night's stay. As has been mentioned, if you have a major aversion to water that smells like sulfur, bring a little bit of your own drinking water. Internet, tv, cells worked great once the night forced us inside. We never used the upstairs Loft as we had our dog with us and didn't want him spending the night whining that he couldn't come up the ladder with us. The Murphy bed worked great. Wonderful rental for our short visit to the Catskills.

Incredibly unique, cozy, immaculate space with gorgeous Mountain View’s and to our delight, a snowy stay! Olga is very responsive to any questions, check in and check out was easy. My wife still raves about how comfortable the bed was in the main bedroom! It was a perfect kitchen for our getaway Thanksgiving. This is honestly one of the few airbnbs that I want to visit again.

This is my second time staying here with my fiance, and we will absolutely be back again next Fall. I love this place so much, you feel like you’re far, far away from all of your problems and life just feels so cozy at the barn. Great hiking nearby, antique shopping, the fun town of New Paltz. If you want to get away for a bit, look no further.

Dara and Dave’s place was a dream. It was exactly what we were hoping for—clean, peaceful, inspiring. When a snow storm unexpectedly hit, Dara went above and beyond to make sure we had the provisions necessary to be fed and comfortable. We loved getting to explore Phoenicia and nearby towns! Will definitely be coming back!

We enjoyed staying at Dana’s cabin set in peaceful surroundings. Her kitchen was fully stocked with everything you need to cook and the charcoal grill was great to have. Dana and her 2 dogs were very friendly to us and our pup, Louie, and we appreciated her local recommendations for dog-friendly places to eat. Squirrels and deer in the yard kept Louie entertained!

Its an amazing Airbnb perfect for all seasons they have a private lake and kayak .. my family had so much fun and esp our toddler loved the red bard open space , kayak and a swing

Sarah was extremely helpful, quick to respond, warm and friendly person. The house was amazing - fully equipped kitchen with everything you need, comfortable furniture, comfy beds and pillows, amazing decor and wonderful log fires. Lovely grounds and a great location for travelling around to explore the wonderful towns and countryside. The house felt as if we were stepping into a Christmas past - each room was thoughtfully designed with beautiful decorations and even a chocolate station including hot chocolate, hand made cookies, marshmallows, sweets etc. We travelled from the UK and stayed as a family of six adults at this historic house. Each one of us felt at home, relaxed and appreciated this amazing, beautiful, peaceful and spacious home. Highly recommended. Thank you Sarah for making our stay so special - we appreciate everything you did for us and everything really exceeded our expectations - we hope to return.

We loved Neesha and Sara’s home! It had everything our family needed and more. My kids (3 and 6) loved the playroom and the swingset, and the grownups loved the hot tub. Great location too, close to both Kingston & Stone Ridge but out in nature. We want to come back in the summer to try the pool! Thanks for the lovely stay.

Beautiful home with an incredible view. If you're looking for somewhere private to enjoy the Catskills, you really can't do better than this. In the main house, you do have to walk through one bedroom to get to the other, so maybe best for groups where everyone goes to sleep and wakes up on roughly similar schedules. The airstream was also incredibly cool. Would definitely go back.

The home was centrally located between many Hudson Valley towns with many things to do! Even though the house was on a main road it was fenced off to make us feel safe letting our children and dog run around. Beautiful and clean home. The adjoining bedrooms upstairs make it a great option for young families. We were nervous about the spiral staircase leading to the upstairs room but there was a door to close off at the top to ease our minds. We loved it and would definitely stay again.

The cottage was so warm and inviting. We felt right at home. And the setting was beautiful. Never saw so many brilliant stars in my life.

This was the perfect getaway in the catskills, an airbb that was so nice, you did not want to leave! our dogs had the weekend of their lives, wish we could have stayed longer! Would definitely recommend. The sauna was also a great amenity!

Spent an amazing weekend in Diana's accommodation! We already thought of rebooking this place in the future if the opportunity arises. It was such a lovely home and the room we booked had a perfect view of the backyard especially at this foliage season. Everything was clean and she had supplies ready just in case we needed to use it for cleaning/bathroom/etc. Definitely recommend her place.

Super responsive hosts, flexible and accommodating. Unbeatable location next to Mohonk, Wildflower Resort, New Paltz. Nice winery on premise too - a fun afternoon of tastings. Would come back!

We absolutely loved Leslie’s airbnb!! The interiors were so tastefully done and felt like the PERFECT house for a Catskills getaway. Leslie was also super responsive and provided some great recommendations in the area.

Julie's place was a perfect home to spend a quiet and peaceful new years celebration. The place is more modern and up to date than some of the pictures described in the posting which was even better. Our cats loved looking out at nature and the lovely stream that runs behind the property. This home is versatile for all seasons and would most definitely return!

We had a fantastic stay! The space was incredibly cute, comfortable, and impeccably clean. The water pressure in the shower was excellent, which made for a relaxing experience. Everything was well thought out, it’s a wonderful place, and I’d highly recommend it to anyone looking for a cozy and enjoyable stay!
