Sunset Lodge - near the river and steam railway.

Sunset lodge is the perfect retreat for luxury relaxation. There are many lovely walks, including the river walk to Bodiam castle. There are many eateries within walking distance and Rye, Tenterden, Camber and Hastings all a short car journey away. We are located on the edge of a small family camping park - Rother valley park- which is a family run, chilled and quiet place to be. The views and sunsets are stunning. Koppla cabin was the perfect getaway for what we wanted, it was so peaceful and the surroundings were beautiful. The hosts thought of everything and the manual they send with instructions and things to do locally was very handy and a great touch making everything easy. Everything was better than imagined when staying here, we didn’t want to leave. We will definitely be returning in the future!

Lucy and Rog are awesome hosts! They went above and beyond, helping us get into Royal Tumbridge Wells, and sorting us a table at Hartfields for breakfast. Can’t recommend staying with them more!! This was our second stay and we’ve now tried both the buxted inn and the white hart, and both were great!

I had a wonderful stay at this lovely shepherd’s hut! The hut itself was modern, spotlessly clean, and had all the amenities we needed for a comfortable getaway. The host went the extra mile by leaving us a welcome bottle of champagne, which was such a thoughtful touch. Throughout our stay, they were incredibly kind, responsive, and accommodating, making sure we had everything we needed. The peaceful countryside setting was perfect for a relaxing weekend away. I would highly recommend this place to anyone looking for a cosy retreat. I’ll definitely be back!

We had a gorgeous stay with Susan on her farm. A really unique experience that made our trip to Brighton even more memorable! She was a great host and we loved the surrounding area of the farm, it was so peaceful. What really made it was being able to feed the farm animals! Absolutely loved it and safe to say we will be back! Hopefully for when the lambs might be here! Thank you so much for a great stay and a lovely time away from normal life.
