Vacation home rentals in Texas

Super easy check in process, all the amenities and space was as described. Kitchen had all the things needed to cook meals at the house, and plenty of rooms and bedding for our 6 year old to try a different bed and bedroom every night! Easy access to the beach as well. Although not in Galveston proper, the ferry is both free and comes frequently and makes for a little fun adventure if excursions to Moody Gardens or other spots desired.

Everything about our stay was outstanding. The house is in a great location for a quiet getaway, but close to New Braunfels, San Antonio, Fredericksburg, Gruene, etc. for fun activities and dining. The house was perfect for our group of five adults. The balcony views of the hill country, especially at sunset was a highlight. Our hosts did everything to make us feel like welcome guests in their home.

We are a retired couple wanting to avoid the cold Iowa winters and found Sunny Daze to be the perfect “Home away from home!” Very well furnished, clean, roomy, comfortable and we can’t say enough about the location! It was quite perfect for us!! Definitely top of our list for accommodations!! We loved it!

Couldn't have picked a better place! Was a perfect location, was super happy with everything. Very spacious, plenty of room for the 4 of us that stayed. Right across the street from the best steakhouse in Dallas, Bobs! Would love to stay here again on my next visit to Dallas!

We really enjoyed our stay with large family. Lodge had plenty of room for everyone and the kids loved all the animals coming right up to the porch. Ethan the ranch hand was amazing.

I very rarely have seen AirBnBs where the listing pictures are great and still don’t do it justice. The view from the main bedroom was simply stunning! The place has everything you need and is well stocked, they truly thought of everything. Keith and his wife were easy to communicate with and we would definitely recommend their place!

Great house in a quiet neighborhood. House was clean, only thing I would do is put a blind up on the back door as it is directly facing the kitchen table. Overall great experience and had no problems getting into house.

Amanda was a very communicative host--from our first inquiry until the end of our stay! She seems to genuinely want her guests to be happy and have their needs met! Her home was laid out nicely for our two adult-aged kids and my wife and me. The kitchen was fully stocked and the furniture and beds were really comfortable and functional. We used the home as a base to travel to Lake Travis, hill country, and downtown Austin & would consider staying their again with our kids or another couple. :)

This was a great cabin to stay at and it’s in a very convenient location with easy access to the beach. There was plenty of room for everyone with spacious, comfortable beds. Everything was exceptionally clean & cozy! Highly recommend this cabin for your next beach getaway.

I highly recommend! We stayed there two nights before we boarded our cruise and it had everything that we needed. The best thing about it was we were able to walk to the port and not have to Uber. There are three flights of stairs that you need to go up so I don't recommend it if you are traveling with a loved one who is elderly or disabled. I also loved there is a washer and dryer to do a quick load before our cruise. Would stay again!

This home was amazing. Well cleaned beautiful home for a family fun weekend. It had everything that you would think of beach was literally walking distance from the home. I will definitely rent this home again.

Tyler was a great host - stayed in touch throughout our stay to see if anything was needed. The house is located mid-way between the beach in one direction and the Strand in the other. Everything looks in person as it does in the pictures, and it was a comfortable stay for our family. We recommend Tyler's house for anyone looking for a historical house to stay at in Galveston!

Great location, about 30 minutes from the busier downtown area. Beautiful beaches. Home was clean and comfy.

This stay was wonderful! Place was clean, comfortable, in fantastic location, AMAZING view, easy to navigate and felt right at home. One of the best AirBnBs I’ve ever stayed in. I hope to return and stay here again! 15/10 recommend.

Everything was great! The place was so relaxing and beautiful. Most of our stay it rained so we couldn’t go to the lake but still we had fun inside playing games and watching movies. It really was super relaxing. The bed was comfortable and big and the couches super comfortable even fell asleep on them. There are tons of spices for cooking and the bonfire was really nice at night. We toasted marshmallows had a few drinks and just looked at the stars. Yall should definitely book your stay here!

Great accommodation and location. Very convenient to gas station/grocery store right behind the house which had everything you need. Easy access to both private and public beach. Angelina is a great host and communicator. She had alot of useful amenities at her place. Our kids appreciate all the toys and games that came with the property. A well recommended place!

We had a wonderful visit. The place is immaculate, beautiful and has every accommodation you can think of. If you forgot something, chances are they have it. The area is quiet and close to the beach. It is not a touristy area, but that is why we chose it. We were in need of a mindless peaceful get away and this delivered. We found the people in the town to be extra friendly which added to the charm of this little town. The friendly, quick responses from the host was an added bonus.

We enjoyed our stay. The home is conveniently located within walking distance to great bakeries and The Strand. The beds and linens were very comfortable, and all the amenities we needed were available. Marshall was responsive to any needed request. Would recommend!

We had an amazing stay at the Flamingo Dune. This is our 2nd time reserving this home for our family getaway as always we enjoyed the beach and relaxing. Ani was so sweet, my girls loved the Easter sweets she provided. Overall, our weekend was very enjoyable.
