Nature eco lodge vacation rentals in Texas

Very clean and pretty! Exactly what we were looking for, will definitely stay again the next time we are in the area. I stayed for a work trip but would love to come back with my family as there is a lot to do on the property!

Everything was absoultely perfect!! We booked the Queen Suite last minute since we were driving through the area. It was very peaceful! We were able to enjoy the pool in the afternoon and sit out under the twinkle lights at night listening to nature. The room was clean and had all the essentials provided we needed. I would definitely recommend this airbnb!

This was an amazing stay and both Lacy and Rebekah were amazing! Me and my mother were traveling to Waco for a Baylor graduation from Houston. Our original reservation was for a motel which we didn’t realize until the day of and with two females by ourselves we didn’t think it would be safe. Within the last two hours of our drive we were rushing to find a new place to stay. Which is where Lacy came in letting us know they had availability for our last minute stay. We got there a little earlier than our reservation and meet Rebekah (property manager) who let us know we could stay at the pool until our room was ready. It was far enough from Waco to enjoy the nature but about 15mins from Waco to enjoy the stores and restaurants. The rooms were amazing as well as the pool. There was also fun activities to do outside that was set up and some sitting areas. Everything looked exactly as the pictures. Will definitely be coming back and recommending to any and everyone!!

Our family vacation started out a little rough with another airbnb and location. Thankfully we found Vicky and Micky and they able to turn our whole vacation around for us. They were amazing host's! They answered all of our questions and helped make our vacation memorable.

It was an amazing area! Definitely recommend watching the sunrise or sunset here amazing view! The Charmadillo was a charming area, everything was so clean and getting to the restrooms, shower and kitchen was not a hassle. Loved it!

My room was exactly as pictured, very comfortable and clean. I love the eclectic decor everywhere. The front of the house with all of the tiered decks is beautiful and I sat out there each evening to eat my dinner and work on my laptop. The communal kitchen was well stocked. I really enjoyed the atmosphere here and would definitely stay here again if I came to South Texas. It was in the perfect location to visit all the major birding sites in the Rio Grande Valley.

Sarah’s place is amazing! She has created such a neat experience for her guests. It’s very peaceful and relaxing. Everything was very clean and worked well. We were last minute guests and she responded to us within a couple minutes after I requested to book. We will definitely be back in the future.

I absolutely love this place in the Texas Hill country. The views are fantastic along with the night sky. I love the sauna too. I shall be back!

WE KEEP COMING BACK! Hosts’ are kind people who make us feel right at home. The property is beautiful, our 6 year old described it as a “rain forest” With thoughtful details this is truly a great place to stay if you want a peaceful getaway.

Second time staying here and it is always wonderful! Beautiful property in the Texas Hill Country nearby several state parks.

The unit was charming, comfortable, and had a well furnished kitchen. It is in a perfect location - across the highway from a grocery store, close (4 minute drive) to Big Bend National Park entrance, and near (within 15 minutes) of Terlingua ghost town restaurants and shops. The hosts were very responsive to our questions and very easy to communicate with. Check in was a breeze! We will definitely recommend to friends that plan to visit.

This was our first time here and definitely won’t be our last. There’s so much to do for the whole family. The kids loved fishing, swimming, and the paddle boats the most. We loved the cottage and the master bed was so comfortable too. Everyone is so kind and the service was awesome too. A maintenance man stopped on his golf cart while I was walking our dog just to pet him and give him a dog biscuit. We can’t wait to go back. LOVE this place!!!

Wow….outstanding place; especially loved the cleanliness and comfortable bed. Bathroom had great amenities, including bath robes and hair dryer, which my wife needed. The location is only 2.5 miles from the entrance of Big Bend and across the street is the Cottonwood Grocery….big plus. My only minor negative comment…there was no breakfast, not even a granola bar; coffee only. Every Airbnb we have stayed at in the last 5 years, offered some type of breakfast. However, I would still highly recommend Study Butte #1, just a really neat 5 star experience.

The cabin and resort was exactly what we needed. Beautiful property and cabin, lots to do on the property. Staff was friendly and accommodating. We plan to return.

This place is great! We spent three days touring Big Bend National Park and I think this may very well be the closest spot. The grocery store across the street is a bonus - they have high quality fresh everything. And the communal kitchen has just enough tools and a really great big shared fridge. No stove or oven, but we only needed the toaster and the microwave. And there is a grill outside, too! I loved the white high thread count cotton sheets. Thank you for not using horrid polyester gray ones!!
