Shipping container vacation rentals in Texas

I was in Frisco for a 12 week clinical rotation so this location was perfect for me. It’s private, safe, and clean. There’s no way I would have gotten a short term lease with this much privacy anywhere else in dallas. It’s out in the country about 20 min from Frisco. It’s pretty much glamping, glamorous camping. There are cows, donkeys, and a pony right outside which will greet you when you arrive but are separate from the yard surrounding the trailer. Danny is very responsive and checks in to make sure you’re doing fine. There was a point when the internet stopped working and he jumped right on it! It’s a great place to stay as long as you aren’t looking for a high maintenance place and your okay with things that come along with country living.

This is a fun style house in a great location. Like many people I have been intrigued by the whole container home thing and it didn’t disappoint. Lots of room and an easy walk to resultants and bars. Some people complained about noise from the area but we didn’t hear anything during our stay. We would definitely stay here again.

Super cute, clean and quiet stay!

We loved spending our anniversary at the tiny home, Henley. It was the perfect place! We loved how it felt private, even with other tiny homes around it. The game room and fire pit were so much fun too. I was upset that the hot tub was not working, but still gave five stars because of how responsive and helpful the hosts were. They tried to help troubleshoot it as well as did their best to make it right after we left. Regardless, the house was an amazing stay and we don’t regret booking with them one bit! We can’t wait for our next trip back.

This is a great place to get away. The house had perfect amenities. The linens were extremely comfortable and everything was clean. The dipping pool was fabulous and perfect size. The location is ideal for all the things around town. Steve and Cindi was very sweet and easy to talk too. The only thing I could say is that the ac unit did not blow very well. Besides that, everything was great.

Marco is very friendly and let me know he was available if I needed anything while I was there. I highly recommend his Airbnb(s). I can't wait to rent another one of his units.

Wow! I have been coming to the Guadalupe for 40+ years, it holds a very special place in my heart, and I am pretty particular about where I stay and what I am looking for - this property checked all my boxes. Just close enough to the touristy areas that you can still enjoy them if you want, but far enough away to be able to enjoy the peace and quiet. Fantastic private river entrance that leads to a great section of the river with places of varying depth for kids or adults to enjoy. Beautiful backyard area, enjoyed the private, outdoor showers and the covered eating/cooking area was much needed with the rain we had. The house itself was perfect - Large open kitchen/dining/lounging area with two bedrooms and a bathroom (with a great shower). All appliances were modern and worked very well. I can’t say enough about how perfect this space was for what I was looking for, will definitely be booking again.

What an amazing place!! We enjoyed our stay of 2 nights and wish it would have been longer! Becky is the sweetest person ever. El Capitan was clean and cozy. We can’t wait to come back even if it’s just to relax and enjoy EC!!

Cute little place to stay! My fiancé and I enjoyed the night away. Location was a little hard to see at night, but it was beautiful.

AMZAING place to stay! It had EVERYTHING we needed. Well stocked and all the kitchen items anyone could need. Sammy was very responsive and kind! It has a peaceful sitting area on the porch. We will stay again when in the area! Great stay!

Super fun and spooky! My family of 5 stayed in October and the place was decked out for Halloween. Awesome way to get into the spirit! We loved the game room barn. Perfect getaway. Sabrina and Tony were nice, responsive and accommodating. They went above and beyond for us and we can't wait to go back!

Super cute converted shipping container with gorgeous outdoor view and constant deer waking through the property! This was exactly what we needed for a quiet place to renew and relax for a few days! Exactly how it was described and exactly what we wanted. Highly recommend for a couple, but it would be tight for a family of four, or for two full adult couples, but still potentially doable if you rest like the other people. The kitchen had everything we needed, but don’t expect to cook a full meal in the kitchen. Again, this was perfect for us as we wanted to be lazy, take walks, and watch the deer, and it was a great location for us to go to Austin for a UT game one day, too.

We had a wonderful overnight stay here. The unit was cozy and adorable, equipped with anything we could have needed. The view was gorgeous, and the nice porch was perfect for taking it all in. Thank you for a nice stay!

Forest Lane Acres was a much needed respite in the middle of our month-long roadtrip across Texas to visit various family members. Big Blue was the perfect size for me, my husband and our two corgis, and Little Blue was the perfect size for my Mom. Unfortunately the weather was rainy and cold for our stay so we didn’t get to enjoy the outdoor living area as much as we would’ve liked, but we did attempt an evening with a firepit running and projector streaming Yellowstone and it was still quite lovely. We’ve have stayed at many airbnbs over the years with our pups and this one is so well designed, thoughtfully constructed, and lovingly appointed that I absolutely plan to visit again in slightly warmer weather. I especially appreciated the retractable dog/child gates at all exits from the patio that helped keep our sweet blind dog and our rapidly-aging senior dog safe in the space. Host Ellen was very sweet and quick to respond to any questions. Thank you for a wonderful stay!

Our stay was nothing short of exceptional! From the moment we arrived, we were captivated by the unique and charming design. The attention to detail in every corner made the experience truly special—it’s clear the hosts have poured their hearts into creating a very cool escape.

A great spot to get away from the city. It feels like your a million miles away from civilization, but are only minutes from downtown Fredericksburg. JD was super friendly and greeted us upon arrival. Checking in instructions were easy to follow. I recommend getting a bottle from a local winery and enjoying it around the fire pit. Would return again and recommend to friends and family. Super fun spot.

Great place for a quick getaway for me and my wife. very peaceful and relaxing. Just what we needed. the place is very clean and looks just like the pictures.

We ended up having to leave early and I felt bad for that but it had nothing to do with the place or heather and Eric .. my husband was feeling sick so we went home but this place was so quiet and peaceful… we loved the jacuzzi. Both heather and Eric were very responsive and friendly.. we will come again I’m sure. I recommend this place for couples.

We only had a single night to get away and don’t regret our decision to do so at the Indigo House! It’s cozy, peaceful and exactly as we expected from the pictures and description. All the basics are there and the place is comfortably decorated. If you’re considering staying and have a preference on mattresses, know the bed is exceptionally soft.

We loved our time at Jeremy’s place. It’s quiet, peaceful, and helped us get some rest away from the city. You’re close enough to several towns to get out and do activities, dine out, etc. We appreciated the local recommendations and tried a few. Highly recommend Inks Lake State Park.
