Cottage vacation rentals in Suffolk Coastal

Lovely little cottage in a lovely area of the country. We were down to visit a friend and watch a local theatrical production but we also managed to do some walking in beautiful woodlands that were just a few minutes drive away. East Harling is a very pleasant walk away - but probably not at night - as part of the walk is on unlit roads with no pavements. Possibly a little unfairly, the location review was dropped a star for this. Mary was very friendly, responsive and provided comprehensive and accurate information. All-in-all it’s a lovely bright little cottage in a lovely tranquil location ….. I nearly forgot the hot tub - lovely touch - clean and a very welcome mode of relaxation.

We stayed at forestry cottage for the weekend for my mums 70th birthday. The cottage was so homely and comfortable and a really good size for 7 people. Hosts were very accommodating and responsive, little touches like doggy treats and supplies (we bought our family dog) and balloons, party poppers and a happy birthday banner was left for my mum which was a really nice touch! The cottage is set in the most beautiful/peaceful place with decent walks around the lake. All in all we had a very lovely stay, would 100% recommend.

We spent a lovely extended weekend at the barn visiting our family in Norfolk. The barn was clean, warm and comfortable and had everything that we needed. Jill and Phil were friendly and welcoming and check-in and check-out were easy. The super-king sized bed was comfy and the hot tub was an added bonus after a busy couple of days with the grandchildren.

Lovely cosy cottage located close to all the shops and restaurants in Holt. Cosy beds and sofa. Great to have a drive to park the car, and easy to get to lots of great locations for walking and the beach. We didn’t use the hot tub as it didn’t feel like it was in a private enough spot, but this is just personal preference. Great hosts, thank you so much.

Back from a long weekend here, set in a beautiful village with a local pub which was great for food and drinks and a nice outdoor seating area. The garden was great and had the sun all day and evening so perfect for sitting outdoors while relaxing in the sun and was very secure for the dogs and lovely hot tub to relax in Great location for getting to Wells next to the sea and other surrounding areas Would highly recommend staying here Hosts were brilliant and super responsive and nice bottle of wine and treats to enjoy on our 1st day of holiday.

We had the most wonderful time! The property is absolutely gorgeous to roam around and the house is really comfortable, well equipped and beautiful to stay in. Highly recommend!

Very comfortable, spacious and well equipped cottage with lovely surroundings. Dog friendly too. Great to see such well cared for and happy hens wandering around too.

We had a wonderful stay @ Little Owl, it was everything we hoped for. The house was immaculately clean with every essential amenity to make our stay comfortable and enjoyable. Just as it's pictured, weather was kind and made the house even more inviting. I was wowed when we pulled up the drive! I did have to check that I had booked somewhere with a secure garden and was pleasantly surprised once we turned up and saw the gardens, low fences but held in 3 springy Frenchies with no issues. Everything you need and more. Lots of lovely villages to visit. Dog walks on the doorstep. Already looking at when we can book again. Even considering hiring a boat too. Liz was great with instructions and local information. Highly recommend the Thatch cottage.

A beautiful cottage in the perfect location. 20-30 mins from every major place you could want to go. Cosy and homely with a lovely sunny garden. Private and secure, a real Norfolk countryside stay! We loved our stay, everything we needed was provided and Scott gave us all the information we needed to allow easy check in. We can’t wait to come back again, hopefully for longer next time. we ( myself, my partner and our elderly dog) had a fantastic stay at the cottage. it was very clean, and had everything we needed. The location is beautiful. We unfortunately had to cut our stay short, the hosts were very understanding. would highly recommend.

Just loved everything about this little place. The property was spacious yet cosy. Everything anyone could need was provided and parking just outside the door was so convenient.

A lovely place to stay and explore this part of Norfolk. We enjoyed having the beach right behind the cottage and regularly saw a seal close to the shore. It was so handy being able to walk back to the cottage to grab food and drinks or pop to the beach first or last thing without getting in the car. Having bikes was great as we enjoyed cycling to Sea Palling. Beds comfy, sofa with farm scenery was great for chilling, good WiFi, dog friendly and a secure garden - this cottage had it all.

We've had a lovely stay, it was just what we needed- the scones on arrival were great. Gaynor has thought of everything you may need. Thank you for letting us stay in your perfect home by the sea 🙂

Church Cottage is absolutely beautiful both from the outside, with a wonderful, sunny garden, and the inside, which is beautifully furnished and comfortable. There is a huge amount of space with the two sitting rooms, dining room and 4 bedrooms, and the whole place is extremely well equipped. There is even a second fridge, as well as a freezer, washing machine, dryer and microwave. We had a wonderful time sitting in the "snug" in the mornings before moving onto the sunny patio, and getting comfy in front of the fire in the living room in the evenings. It's a short walk to the coastal path and to the seal trips at the quay, and an easy drive to restaurants and pub in Wells or Blakeney. Sadly, the Anchor pub right by the cottage seems to have closed down. The steam train from Holt was also a fun thing to do. We can all thoroughly recommend this beatiful cottage. Louise sent really clear instructions about how to find it and was super helpful in all her communications. A great host!

A fantastic place to stay with beautiful gardens. The garden room was fantastic and the house itself is really quirky and tastefully decorated. The house is really well equipped and I’m a lovely setting. We loved our stay!

We stayed in oak cottage and loved every second - we have 3 city kids who ran around the garden / play area / anywhere they could the entire time! We enjoyed the outdoor bath after our days out (Jimmy’s farm & southwold pier) and the bbq and fire. Pizzas were fantastic, even our very fussy 7 year old approved. We hope to come back when our youngest is older so he can experience the memories made here too

We had a lovely stay at Bonnie Cottage. Jo was very responsive to messages and accommodating as we booked on the day of our stay. We really appreciated the thoughtful treats left for us grown ups and toys and chocolate left out for the little ones. The space was modern, clean and very child friendly. Only a short walk to the beach too! We would definitely return ☺️

Beautiful surroundings, loved being around all the nature, felt very private and tranquil. Would definitely recommend it to friends in the future and would stay here again when visiting Norwich

A huge thank you to Sarah and Ian, who made our stay a fantastic experience! Beautiful cottage, amazing views and nothing was too much trouble for Sarah, wonderful hosts! The private hire swimming pool is definitely an added bonus! And of course the open fire!

We had a very relaxing 4 night stay here. A peaceful location with friendly hosts. Brookes cottage was a great base for exploring the area. A comfy bed and good shower and a lovely garden to relax in after a day out.

My partner and I stayed here for Christmas and we had the best time. We were greeted on arrival by Feri and when we entered the cottage it was spotless and had everything we needed. Feri and Steve were very friendly and attentive and responded quickly if we had any questions. Would highly recommend visiting here and we will gladly book again soon.

This air b&b is absolutely lovely. It was spotlessly clean, comfortable and light and airy. We stayed with our young children, and really appreciated having a washing machine and tumble dryer to sort a few odds and ends out while we were away. The property is next door to a pub which has a small play area, which was ideal for an early dinner with the children. There is a Harvester a 5 minute drive away which was also excellent for the children. Lowestoft, Yarmouth and the East Anglia transport museum are all nearby and great for a day out. Kelly was very responsive to messages and the communication was faultless both before and during our stay. I wouldn’t hesitate to stay here again, thank you for a wonderful stay Kelly!
