House vacation rentals in Stamford

We had a great stay - the house is peaceful, quiet, clean, and especially cosy with the woodburner on! Richard and Jo were excellent hosts, very friendly and accommodating, and offered great advice on places to visit nearby with our two small children. We all slept amazingly well (very unusual with a 1 and 3 year old); the beds were comfy and it was so quiet. The house is well set up for visiting with toddlers - there are toys, books, stair gates etc. and the large garden is great to let them run around in. We would absolutely return, especially in the summer to really make use of the beautiful garden.

Wonderful stay at The Firs Luxury Home. stay 22.11.2024 for the weekend and wished it could of been for longer. I booked this for a surprise family get together for my husbands birthday. it was so easy to book the host Alistair and Katrina were brilliant at communicating with me, check in was easy and everything was explained really well. Our stay was amazing, they had thought of everything too make your stay really comfortable. the kitchen is amazing, having all the games equipment was just brilliant and kept us really entertained as sadly there was storm so we didn't get chance to use all the outside facilities but it did not ruin our stay. as a family we can highly recommend The Firs Luxury Home.

I came here for my 23rd birthday with my friends as we wanted a chill Christmas atmosphere and we got exactly that! The owners were very kind a friendly and went over and above for us! The only negative is that there is nothing around and if you want to walk to a pub, restaurants or shops it’s either a 1hour+ or a deep dive walk in a forest or field… this was difficult as we had 6 people and one car. But I everything was amazing we will be coming back again!

Really loved our stay here, the use of their pool is lovely and really made the stay. Bed was lovely and big and kitchen well equipped. Little welcome pack was a nice touch especiallyas we had forgot bread and milk so saved us going back to the shops! Only thing that would of made it perfect would be that the sofa was a bit bigger and comfier but seen as it doubles as a sofa bed thats probably not easy. All in all we had a lovely 3 night break and would have 100% return which we are planning on :)

The host was quick to respond and very accommodating, even with a last-minute booking. The property was tastefully decorated, clean, and had everything we needed. Having plenty of parking is a definite plus, and a great location adds to the overall convenience. 5 starts all around, highly recommended!

This was home away from home for a week for my family with three small children. I was very happy with how clean, spacious, and well-equipped the apartment was. It is beautifully decorated and just as shown in the photos. The hosts were considerate, responsive, and understanding. The location was ideal for us, being close to family, a park, and the Sainsbury’s. 2 things I wish I had known ahead of time: (1) The SRK company requires an additional refundable £200 deposit and signing of a hiring agreement prior to your stay. Because of some technical difficulties on their side, I didn’t know about this until the day before our stay and felt a bit blindsided. (2) Tea, instant coffee, sugar, and some biscuits were kindly provided. However, salt and pepper are not provided. All in all, I would absolutely consider this place again on my next visit to Peterborough.

A lovely clean home perfect for what we wanted it for. We loved the little goodies and personal card written for us. The place was spacious and beds comfortable. The coffee machine was a bonus. A little nag was that all the windows had blinds instead of curtains so the light shining through woke us up super early. This was only a nag for us due to having super late nights from being at wedding functions and were hoping for a lie in ;) A perfect stay though. Thanks Sumayyah!! Will definitely be booking again.

Robert's place is sport less and perfect for our contractors. Comfortable beds and spot less. Good location. Highly recommended and definitely visit again if we are around.

Good place to stay

My employees stayed at Steve's property as a home away from home for a work trip. Steve was a really helpful and friendly, always proactive with responses and very accommodating. The property is great value for money, nice and clean. Thanks again Steve, will definitely book again if in the area

This is a beautiful property with absolutely everything you could possibly need. So very well equipped. Very spacious with two very big bedrooms and comfy king sized beds. Everything was spotless. Located in town with a great Italian restaurant opposite. A very big Co-op 50 paces away, free parking also across the road. Great walks along the canal or in the local sports fields just around the corner. The only thing that was missing was a hot tub in the garden! (Joking!!!!) Thank you Paul and Sasha - we loved it and we thoroughly recommend this property.

House was lovely and clean and had everything that we needed. Akeem was a great host and communication was great.

Anne’s place is the perfect home from home, and we felt welcome from the moment we arrived. You have everything you need and more to be fair. Hot tub in the garden, we travelled with our dog and she had a secure garden area at the rear. Highly recommend this house for those looking to have a relaxing place to stay.

Lovely annex in a great location. Very cosy and warm at this time of year. Garden very useful for dogs. Would definitely return.

Amazing Host. Always there to help. He has given clear instructions for check in as well as answers any questions or concerns we have. He was not in town when were there but he called me directly and helped me to figure out the things over the call. Clean, organized and beautiful house. We had enjoyed it a lot. At the day of checkout were thinking like why we did not book it for longer.

This house was perfect for our stay, the neighbourhood is quiet and the house was spotlessly clean and tidy and matches the listing. You are close enough to walk to Stamford but we always drive as there is plenty of parking available. Would stay again.

Great for a family get together, plenty of room for dining & entertaining. Very central for all restaurants & shops. We hope to return for another stay.
