Kid-friendly vacation rentals in Southern Maine Coast

The accommodation is located in a quiet area and a short distance from the beach. I highly recommend this affordable place for a stay in Old Orchard Beach!

This cottage was ideal for our group. It is atypical in that the ‘bunk room’ is good for sleepovers with the younger crowd. And, living/dining is perfect for game nights & movie nights. The simple kitchen & 2 baths made it perfect for our 8 able-bodied friends. The awkward stairs & short ceilings could be deal breakers for any parties exceeding 5’10” or with mobility issues. But, plenty of towels & hot water for longer haired kiddos who needed showers after a late October swimming down by the pier… which is walkable, but also a super short drive.

Great home and Kristen was a great host and communicator! The home was clean, and water pressure was great for showers. The mattresses in the first floor (entrance level) room could have been a little comfier (spring mattress), but not a huge deal at all. If you prefer liquid body wash, be sure to bring your own as only bar soaps are provided. There are also no hair dryers, so be sure to bring your own if you want that as well. Fireplace was great to make the space feel even cozier. Area was quiet, peaceful, and private. Great value option for bigger groups!

Great little cabin! Just right for what I needed. Love how secluded it was. Great spot to get to the White mountains to hike or just take in the views. I highly recommend it. If you plan on staying a few nights definitely bring food to utilize the kitchen. Definitely will return for some more winter hiking.

Absolutely beautiful location. The stay was great. Had a small hiccup grtting the code, but they all worked great to make sure we could get inside. I'd love to make it back one day! The beach is 30 seconds down the road. It's quiet and peaceful all the time. Too cold in oct for the water but was on the beach every day and so secluded with no one around on it. Home had plenty of space.

Wonderful spot for a women's weekend! The house was warm and toasty when we arrived. The kitchen and bath were well stocked with everything we might have needed. Rebecca could not have been nicer and more accommodating! Great weekend!

What a wonderful home! It was just as described. There was plenty of room to spread out. The kitchen was well stocked and the beds were comfortable. The property was very private but still close to town. We loved the large yard and private trail. It was perfect for the dogs to play in! We would definitely stay here again!

This house was great - clean, comfortable, spacious, and quiet. Being able to walk into town (5min) was amazing. The decor was right on theme being in NH. And the TV was one of the biggest I’ve ever seen. Everything was so easy. Rebecca was a top-notch host. Would definitely stay again.

Susan's place is a fantastic base for a stay in Portland. The apartment is just as described--well appointed and extremely comfortable. (The only caution is that it is accessed by two flights of steep stairs plus steep front steps, which may not be everyone's cup of tea.) The off street parking is invaluable and the location is easy to access and convenient to all of downtown Portland. Finally, Susan is a considerate and friendly host.

The home was beautiful and exactly as described. It was stocked with everything we could have needed including coffee and coffee filters! It was the perfect location so close to downtown Portland. The area was quiet and walkable to restaurants and coffeehouses.

Nice apartment located in a lovely area of the city. Walkable to everything (restaurants, bars, venues).

This is the kind of airbnb I'm excited to visit and support -- really lovely, cozy place with a lot of character and everything we needed to make ourselves at home for a week. The proximity to Chocorua is fantastic and it's a good spring board to the lakes region & and the White Mountains. Becky is fantastic - super friendly, responsive, and kind. The wifi was strong enough for me to work there for a few days and we had all the supplies we needed to cook for ourselves. The only issue was the road noise, which was pretty loud during the day, but thankfully quieter in the nights.

Cozy, clean, and super close to downtown. Great location. Overall great place to stay! Would recommend.

What a gorgeous space! And the perfect place to perch with a cup of tea and watch the activity up and down State Street. A truly magical Christmas experience. I would highly recommend this place to friends and family and I plan to come back again sometime soon.

Rick's communication and check in was effortless. From the moment we walked in the door everything was perfect! Warm and welcoming. Everything looked exactly like the photos and was super clean. The place was the perfect size and had all the amenities that you would need. The location was perfect! It was close to quite a few great places to eat and you are also not far from Kennebunkport. Our trip ended with some snow and Rick even came out to help me clear off my truck. Would highly recommend this location and host!

Second stay and I'll be back. It is easy to make yourself at home here. It's not fancy, it's comfortable - love the new sofa! The apartment is full of light even on grey winter days and the location between East Bayside and Munjoy can't be beat.

We absolutely loved staying at Michelle and Jason’s place. It was so clean, cozy, and comfortable. We have been staying at Linderhof for years as it holds a special place in our hearts. We were pleasantly surprised with how nice and comfortable their condo is. Michelle and Jason made sure that everything went smoothly. We will definitely be back!!

Loved it! Perfect distance from the busy downtown. Comfortable, inviting and the best bath tub I’ve ever used.

We had a fabulous time at Meg’s Condo. The location was perfect and the unit was spotless! Also the beds were very very comfortable!! Highly recommend this to anyone!!

This is our second time staying at Jared’s we like so much. Perfect for our mom’s weekend away. Place is cozy, comfortable and roomy. Has everything we need. And is a great location for North Conway outlets 🛍️ 😊

Good location near some hikes and story land

Loved staying here. The views were amazing, fire pit was a great added feature, plenty of dishes/pots and pans to cook with. Could not have asked for a better stay! Everything was so clean and the small details were adorable. Very spacious unit and was close to everything!

Ricky was a great host, very responsive. The room was very clean and there is a book with all the information you’d ever need staying there.
