Hotel vacation rentals in Southern Maine Coast

Dave’s art gallery hostel has a lot of character and is a perfect budget friendly place to stay. We stayed there to ski in the area and it was perfect for that. Thanks! Also, very cute cats :)

The house was the perfect amount of space for our family (a newborn baby) and our in-laws. We never felt cramped. The location to the beach was perfect for a walk on the beach with a coffee each morning. Only thing to note is that the washer and dryer are not in the unit, they are next door and they require an additional fee.

We loved the beauty of the rural setting and found many helpful and welcoming amenities.

My partner and I decided to travel to rural New Hampshire for a quick getaway during Valentines Day weekend. Ingrid Margaret's Bed & Breakfast was just the distraction we both needed as it was quiet with charming views from Washington Suite sitting room on the top floor. The spa tub was particularly amazing to relax at the end of each day's adventures from the gorgeous mountains, scenic areas, local towns we visited. We looked forward to Breakfast every morning as it was the perfect mix of great food, commentary, and local information. This place is cozy, historic, and delightful and I would stay here again.

Had rented for a 2 night stay and when we had arrived, they weren't expecting us until the following night. Despite the initial circumstances, they were very accommodating and got us into a room right away. The staff were incredibly friendly and felt like family almost immediately, like we were cousins they hadn't seen in so long. We didn't arrive at the best time of year due to the weather and recent snow storm; which only means we'll need to come back again for the true experience. Can't wait to come back!

We had another great stay at The Great Island Inn. It is such a peaceful place, with decor that makes you feel relaxed right away. We like the nautical furnishings, and linens, and enjoyed making breakfast in the kitchen. The courtyard is so pleasant with the seashells under foot. The neighborhood is just enchanting and so nice to take a walk and see all of the flowers and water views of the cove. We hope to return again sometime soon. Thanks for a great stay!

Quiet, comfortable, convenient, friendly and helpful people

The hotel was as advertised and very clean. and we were very happy with our suite. The full kitchen includes an electric range, dishwasher, and even a garbage disposal. Living space included a pull-out sofa bed, reclining chair, dining tablet with two chairs, and a desk and there was still room to move. Ample closet space, including a small closet off the kitchen for our living room guest to use. Tv stand doubled as a dresser for the living room guest, which was nice to have as well. Outside pool and hot tub were well maintained, as were the grounds. The included breakfast was definitely a plus, as it saved us from paying for 3 meals in the city. Staff were friendly and helpful, check in and out were very easy. Not a lot to do or great places to eat in the general vacinity, but for someone that wanted to explore other cities/towns in the area the location was good.. about 30 minutes from downtown Boston, Lexington, Cambridge, and Salem. Quiet and out of the way. Great overall.

My stay at Ways motel/airbnb was wonderful. I was there for 2 nights and it met all my needs. Was passing through on my way to Maine and I was able to walk to the beach in 3 minutes, eat at local places on the boardwalk, and enjoy the environment. AK, the owner of the place met me for my later checkin on Friday night, and was super friendly and accommodating. I would 100% stay here again. My unit was spotless and very comfortable. Thanks for a great stay.

Loved our stay at The Bethel Resort! We got an insane amount of snow while we were there. The room was warm and cozy despite the cold weather outside.

This arbnb is at the Norseman which I have stayed at many times. It is right on the water on the 1st level which was great. It is convenient to all that Ogunquit has to offer. It had everything that one would need. Keurig, microwave even a stove. It could use some updating, but that did not affect our stay in anyway. Plan to be back again!

The room was very clean. It was nice because after my first night there my bed was nicely made. I had made the bed, but when I came back it looked lovely and trash taken away. The housekeeping staff is doing a GREAT job. I had a lovely salad at the bar/ restaurant. They were about to close and were so nice to make a salad for me! It’s a great location if you want to do shopping. I think I would have chose another time to go there instead of April. I had a nice swim in outdoor pool and jacuzzi. Also, I used the gym. It had a little of everything and clean! ( I usually don’t swim in indoor pools). They also have a spa downstairs but it’s not part of hotel. I found the hotel staff so kind!! It’s was nice because I felt somewhat lonely there due to the month I was there. I would recommend and definitely found it affordable.

We stayed in this beautiful Inn for only one night, but wish we could have stayed longer. It was so comfortable. And the atmosphere and ambience of being in an old home was delightful. Additionally, there was a wonderful breakfast in the next morning!

It was a cute place to stay for a long weekend. Everything was nice and clean and obviously well kept. It was also a relief that the bed was pretty comfortable. We definitely enjoyed our time here!

Check in was smooth and the staff was extremely friendly. The room and bathroom was spotless. The private room bed was extremely comfortable. There was a good amount of parking but it was tight and filled up very fast, so plan accordingly if you show up later on.

Betsy was great! She gave very thorough instructions on where to locate the unit and how to enter as we were arriving very late at night. The views are beautiful! Right next to a lake, mountain views, and quiet. Highly recommend. We'll be coming back!

This place was exactly what we were looking for during our getaway up in North Conway. The place was a great size for the two of us, the decorations in the room made it more charming, the place had numerous fun amenities with friendly staff to help, and the location was close to the heart of the village and the local ski resorts. Would highly recommend for anyone visiting North Conway!

An overnight stay on New Year’s Day while visiting family was perfect for me and a late evening arrival. The Pub was closed for the holiday so it was very quiet. Clear instructions, safe neighborhood, very clean and sweet suite. Karen and Scott responded to my questions in a timely manner. I will stay there again.

This is our second time staying at Sue's place. This studio is comfortable and clean with lots of storage. The included parking spot and location across from the beach are so convenient (and the view is great). It is an easy walk to the activities at the Hampton Center. We appreciate the secure access with code so no key to keep track of. Thanks for another great stay Sue!

Definitely the best stay! My family has been visiting North Conway for the past five years using Airbnb, and this was the best location! We will definitely be back !

Rachel was great! She’s super friendly and the place was lovely. Super easy to find and in a wonderful location. I would definitely recommend vacationing there!
