Cottage vacation rentals in South West Wales

We had a gorgeous couple of nights at Helen’s cottage. Ideal for the two of us and our 2 year old daughter. Spacious and exactly as described, in fact bigger than we were expecting. Helen sent us detailed directions (although they weren’t needed, easy to find via postcode) and gave us a warm welcome, showed us how to use the hot tub etc then left us to it, but was on hand if we needed her. Thank you for a lovely stay Helen, we hope to be back soon 😊

We came away for a couple of nights for a quiet recharge after Christmas. Debbie met us as we parked up and gave us a little walk around and some helpful tips for our stay. We were left with privacy but knew if there were any problems we'd easily be able to contact for help. Everything was clean and tidy and decorated beautifully for Christmas so it felt lovely and cosy. The bed was really soft and we had no trouble sleeping. We've never used a log burner hot tub before but it was easy enough and we had a relaxing evening enjoying the peaceful surroundings. Thank you 😊

We really enjoyed our stay and all facilities. We did think that it could be clear that the bathroom is downstairs. We enjoyed the hot tub . Parking ok but quite a slope to reach 5the back garden if parking at the rear of the property.

Our stay at this beautiful cottage in Wales was absolutely wonderful. The rolling hills, peaceful countryside, and fresh air made it the perfect escape from everyday life. The cottage itself was cosy, clean, and well-equipped, providing everything we needed for a comfortable stay. One of the highlights was the hot tub, where we could relax while soaking in the stunning, idyllic views—especially at sunset. It was the perfect way to unwind after a day of exploring the nearby beaches. If you’re looking for a tranquil retreat with picturesque surroundings, this cottage is the ideal choice.

Such a lovely place, Carolyn was quick to pop round make sure we was settled in showed us how to use the hot tub and was quick to reply to any questions I had. The place was amazing and I can’t complain at all, plenty of space for just two of us can’t recommend this place enough!

We were extremely satisfied with the stay, the quirky look that the cottage had stuck out on photos and it was even better in person! It was extremely clean and in a beautiful location, the crisp mornings made the stay more beautiful as the hot tub was available day and night! We met the host on our first day there very friendly with 2 cute little puppies running freely in the garden which greeted us as we headed back for a chilled afternoon! Will definitely return!

We had a lovely stay at this beautiful cottage. The place was nice and secluded, but also close enough to Aberaeron for local pubs and restaurants. The hot tub was a big plus for us, and overlooking the fields was very pleasant and private. Helen & Wyn were quick to respond to any queries we had, but also left us in privacy at the same time which was ideal. Great place to stay with lovely hosts.

Lovely location with far reaching views. Claire is extremely helpful and made us feel very welcome. The cottage is very spacious and homely, with everything you could need for a short stay, or like we would have preferred, a longer break away from it all. We were there to celebrate our daughters birthday and get some walking (plenty of places locally - we went to Elan and Brecon) so the hot tub was a welcome addition to sooth the bones, let alone enjoy in the cold and dark. It was a shame to leave!

Alisons joyful cottage was a lovely place to stay, my dog loved the place and alison even left a toy,treats and bowls and a towel for a rainy day for him he loves the toy popcorn thank you so much, the lounge was so relaxing and chilled it was what i wanted for my birthday, the bed was really nice and comfy we slept like babies even the dog 😊,everything was to my expectation when booking sadly the weather wasn’t great so couldn’t sit on the porch with a cuppa but no bother it was a cozy place to stay would definitely stay again and for longer next time thank you for having us !!

A fantastic cottage in the heart of beautiful Mumbles. Close to beaches cafes shops. And Joes ice cream! It’s modern yet homely and beautifully decorated. Can’t wait to return.

We had a lovely few days staying at Kate's place! The cottage was cosy and tastefully decorated, especially with the log burner lit in the evening. The enclosed garden, and the local coastal walks and the lilyponds were perfect for our German Shepherd who loved every second of it! We ate at The Stackpole Inn which was a short drive away and did really delicious food. Kate was very responsive to messages and was kind enough to let us delay our trip by a few days due to work commitments. Would highly recommend and will be back!

What a fantastic place, full of thoughtful touches (towels & blankets for the dog, lovely welcome basket of goodies) and a great place to spend a few days walking along the canal. The whole house has been beautifully renovated with underfloor heating and wood burning stoves downstairs, comfy beds upstairs, and a well-appointed kitchen with everything we needed to cook during our stay. 10/10 would recommend!

What a gem of a find. Absolutely cosy, beautiful and lovely country cottage in a quite location. The farm animals were lovely especially "Honey" the goat. The fresh milk and shortbread were much appreciated after a long drive which went down well with hot coffee and tea. Sarah and Garry are absolutely brilliant hosts. Would highly recommend this cottage to anyone. Thanks you for a lovely time.

Had a fantatic stay. The place was spotless, and in a great location. My daughter managed to lock us out pretty much as we arrived. We contacted helen and she came straight out with a spare key no questions asked. I would recommend this property. Wifi was great, and all the amenities in the house worked with no issues.

Great location, private field to walk our dog ,lovely hot tub and hosts couldn't do enough for you. we had a lovely relaxing time, Highly recommend.

An absolute gem of a place where you are in the middle of nowhere (well Wales!) with stunning views, peace & quiet with only nature and trickling water to listen to. The cottage is so cosy and warm, with comfortable amenities, a super hot hot tub, and a great log burner! Katie & Alex were fab hosts!

Beautiful cottage in a beautiful location. The cottage was very clean and very well equipped. Carwyn and his dad were very friendly and helpful. The breakfast was a really lovely addition. Will definitely be visiting again when visiting family in the area.

A lovely 3 night getaway from the fireworks at home for New Years Eve. 2 dogs really can’t cope with them. It was an ideal area, very quiet & lovely place to stay. Alex said he didn’t allow fireworks at the property & I was extremely happy this was true. Would definitely visit again.

We had the most wonderful, relaxing stay. Lovely touches like a fresh loaf of bread made especially for us and the lovely homemade jam and marmalade made it even more special. The cottage had everything you could ask for and more. The hosts have really thought of everything to make a stay in their cottage a fantastic experience. The Hall Inn was just a couple of minutes down the road and served lovely, well priced meals. Would happily stay again at Alicia’s place and thoroughly recommend it. Look out for the chickens. They’re gorgeous!

Couldn’t recommend this Airbnb enough. We stayed here over New Year’s Eve and it was the perfect getaway. The views from the house are stunning and we felt right at home. We will definitely be back in the summer!

We had a really great stay at Phil's cottage. We had a warm welcome and the cottage was immaculate. It was extremely well equipped and had everything we needed for our stay. We were very grateful that Phil could accommodate our last minute booking. It will certainly be our accommodation of choice when visiting the area in the future. We have no hesitation in recommending it to others.

We loved our mini stay at Buttercup cottage. It was very cosy and amazingly placed on coastal paths and right by sea. Stunning scenery. Lovely restaurants in Solva: the Cambrian inn and hats and barrels. Only (tiny) downside was the occasionally noisy storage heater but it certainly kept us warm! Thank you for putting a Christmas tree up so we felt all festive but without the stress! Would definitely return!

This was our 2nd stay at little pudding cottage and it didn't disappoint. Remote, quiet and life's attitude to a hectic world it's a gem of a place. Everything is well stocked and has rustic charm and very comfortable. We left early due to illness but check out was straight forward to follow.
