Vintage Safari Caravan

Beautiful vintage safari caravan sleeps 2. Contains a refrigerator, two gas rings and a grill. There is also mains electricity and a small electric fan heater. The upside down boat shed (Shed of the year winner 2013) used as a chill out space overlooking the Cambrian mountains. The upside down boat shed is a shared space with other guests and residents of the house. Due to the fact we are surrounded by sheep no dogs are allowed. Please note that we have two very sociable dogs that live here.

Each tent is furnished to a high standard with its own private facilities - equipped covered kitchen area, hot shower, washing up area, compost toilet and firepit. Perfect for couples or families. We stayed at the Sitting Bull Tipi. Wow! What an amazing tipi for Glamping. This was our first time and we were surprised how luxurious this tipi was. It was very cosy inside and had everything you would need. It had a log burner, coffee machine, hot water kettle, en suite bath room, an outdoor fire pit where you can do some BBQ. A small outside kitchen area with gas stove for cooking. Aaron was cooking curry the night we arrived and he offered to bring dinner at our tipi. We were surprised how tasty the curry was, a perfect blend of spices creating an authentic home cooked flavour. This quality of Indian curry you will not get in any restaurant. Aaron is really a great chef and very knowledgeable about the dishes he cooks. If you love curry, do not miss the opportunity to try Aaron’s cooking. We and especially our daughter were fortunate to have some cuddles with 10 golden retriever puppies at Aaron and Miranda’s place. Both Aaron and Miranda are such super hosts.

absolutely fantastic glamping experience. our stay was just perfect, we easily could of stayed longer, you definitely didn't feel like you were in a tent. having the huge log fire to keep you warm, plenty of hot water bottles, and the most comfortable beds. the kitchen had everything you needed to make meals each night, there is the added outside BBQ, and sunken firepit for rather drier nights (we had lots of rain) I loved taken a shower, as the views out over the beautiful fields, was amazing. nothing was to much effort for these wonderful hosts, when asked for extra logs they were proved, just amazing people. defiently 💯 recommend this place, a complete hidden gem x

This was the most idyllic air bnb I’ve ever seen. Absolutely no bad parts to our stay, was such a lovely getaway. The porta loo seemed like a negative, but it was so clean and even decorated to make it not feel like it at all and didn’t smell in the slightest. Really was the ideal accommodation!

To say it's off grid, they provide alot of amenities to make the stay very comfortable.. literally everything you need i.e tea bags, coffee, cutlery etc. It's very private and beautiful on their land. We loved our stay that much, we already plan on going back ✨

Despite the weather, it was such a great stay. It's everything you need from a glamping experience with the feeling of an authentic countryside camping getaway. Our 2 young kids loved the whole experience. It's perfectly situated close to beaches and nature trails, so it's a great place to call home while you explore Pembrokeshire. We hope to be back, in better weather!

A really cool location, and Anjana and her husband were wonderful hosts and very helpful before hand with directions and wild water swimming and fishing locations. We’d love to come again in Summer! The only thing was that the outdoor lights didn’t work and there wasn’t much dry firewood. But the tent is sooo cool and the vibe was up our street. Would recommend!

We hadn’t stayed in a trailer caravan before, but Eleanor explained the differences and how to operate caravan equipment. The fridge and side were stocked with enough welcome food to save us having to go out and shop immediately, which was a blessing. The hosts were on hand if we needed anything (e.g. the pepper pot broke and was replaced in minutes). The caravan is a short walk to the nearest pub/restaurant which is also on the sea front. In the opposite direction is a walk across countryside to Ogmore Castle ruins, the Pelican Inn (great food) and the famous stepping stones across the River Ewenny (we watched three people fall in, but the water’s shallow!); there are also horses in pretty much every field and more horses passed the little road next to the caravan than cars.
