Kid-friendly vacation rentals in South Carolina

Loved the huge fenced in backyard. Naikey was responsive and very friendly. Highly recommend.

We were in Folly Beach for the weekend for a track meet in Charleston with kids spread across 3 homes. Marcie's place was perfect for our needs. We were able to put 6 boys in one area of the house, 4 girls in another, and have a separate bedroom for the chaperone. We were able to get two more homes nearby so that they could all walk between homes. The house was great, clean, comfortable and just a couple of blocks from the beach (easily walkable). We would definitely book again the next time we are in Folly Beach.

Great house in a nice location.

Chrissie's place was great for us. We stayed for three days with another couple and their adult daughter. One end of the house has three bedrooms and a bath; the other bedroom and bath are on the other side of the house. So the layout worked great for us. We didn't do much cooking, but the kitchen was nicely updated and well equipped. We found the dining area and living space very comfortable and pleasant. It wasn't quite warm enough for us to make a lot of use of the outdoor spaces but those are really nice. There's a screened-in porch with plenty of seating and a TV. And more spaces outside of that. The neighborhood is quiet and pleasant, and it's a short walk to some convenience shopping and some restaurants. It's about a 20 minute drive to downtown old Charleston, where there are a ton of great restaurants.

Daniel’s place was absolutely perfect! Not only was it extremely clean and comfortable, but the added extras like the ping pong table were so much fun for the kids and the adults! Will definitely be looking to book this spot in the future!

We really enjoyed our week at Angelina’s place. It was the perfect location for our family to gather and spend time together over the Christmas holiday!

I stayed here with an infant and a toddler for a long weekend… It was great! Great location that was walkable to King Street and different restaurants. Super helpful that the host had a pack and play available for use as well as a washer/dryer. The only thing I would know is that the included parking space is a bit tight and we had a larger SUV so it was hard getting the kids in and out… But not a problem parking there and if you had a smaller car it would be totally fine. I highly recommend for a Charleston weekend!

We had a wonderful time visiting Charleston. The place was the perfect spot to walk and explore the neighborhood. I would definitely come back and stay here again!

Really enjoyed staying at Ashley’s place. Location is great! We really liked how it was tucked away from the street but you’re still just steps away from shops and restaurants.

Christopher was very responsive and courteous. Communication was fantastic! The accommodation was spacious and clean, and stocked with everything we could have thought of, from coffe/filters, to tape, to scissors!

This property was great and comfortable for a wedding weekend stay! We traveled with our infant and all the amenities provided made our stay easy and convenient. Jen was responsive and easy to work with. We will definitely stay again when we are back in Charleston!

We had a great time staying here and loved the neighborhood. So close to King St and all of its restaurants and bars. Still within walking distance of the old city. Would definitely stay here again.

This place was so amazing and unique! Super kid friendly for my toddler and infant. Ginny made us feel right at home. We will definitely be staying again if we ever travel out that way again!

Melodie was really nice and we loved her farm! Her whole family was very nice and welcoming! The animals were so friendly! If I could change one thing it’d be the mattress in the master bedroom it’s pretty firm so I didn’t sleep much but it was okay.

Great location and excellent for families with kids! They had outdoor movie night by the pool for the little ones.

The condo was great for what was needed. We loved the distance from the beach, it was super convenient. The only recommendation I would have would be to have a few more basics kitchen items such as salt/pepper, aluminum foil, a food storage containers/bowls, etc. aside from that, it had everything we needed.

The location was as advertised and the host Robert was very informative prior to check in and check out. It is a very quiet area next to the beach.

Absolutely PRISTINE and extremely comfortable! Little thoughtful touches included an amazing gift bag and a detailed, thorough welcome binder chock full of helpful local suggestions and lodging/complex details. Quite obvious that the hosts truly care about providing an enjoyable experience to their guests! We would stay here again if we have the good fortune to visit beautiful Hilton Head Island again!

Crystal’s place was super awesome. Ten times previous better than an Airbnb that I rented in 2022. I thought about not ever renting an Airbnb ever again. But this gave me hope. Loved staying here! It was clean, comfortable, and quiet. Being on the third floor allows for less noise.. make sure you don't mind climbing stairs ;) we enjoyed the exercise though. The beds are super comfy, everything worked well. They had so many amenities, and tons of beach stuff!. Thank you again for a great stay!!

I stayed at Jill’s Airbnb in North Myrtle Beach from July 27-29, and it was an amazing experience! Jill was a fantastic host, going above and beyond to accommodate all my special requests effortlessly. The room was spacious, clean, and well-organized, with thoughtful notes around the space to help keep everything in order and enjoyable for the next guests. The condo’s location couldn’t be better—just a five-minute drive to Barefoot Landing and eight minutes to the beach, making it perfect for exploring the area. Jill was very responsive to all my messages, making communication a breeze. My kids also loved playing the board games available, adding extra fun to our stay. If you’re looking for a perfect place to stay in North Myrtle Beach, this is it! I would give it 10/10 stars. Highly recommend!
