Amazing place. Perfectly matched the photos, incredibly clean. It was so immaculate it was almost as if no one had ever visited before but at the same time it's so homely! Hot tub was clean and private and the back is completely enclosed if you have young kids or dogs. Bed was super comfy. Check in was really easy due to clear instructions and friendly staff. Host really proactive on messages and gave local food recommendations. 30 mins from York city centre and 1hr 20mins from North East coast. Can't wait to come back soon! :)

Such a lovely little cabin for a little getaway. Super super close to the sea, my boyfriend and I took a little adventure to it and it only took a couple minutes to get to it. At night you can see the stars and they are STUNNING. Rebecca is amazing at communicating, texting me right off the bat and walking me through everything, and as soon as we got there she wasted little to no time coming to check and make sure we settled in properly and walking us through how to set up the fire in the hot tub and bringing us firestarter. 5-stars, and can't wait to go again!!

The lodge is lovely with an amazing view over the lake, we sat in the hot tub watching the birds on the lake it was so peaceful. Great place to celebrate my husbands 50th birthday with our family and dog. Immaculate home with a real homely feel. Great kitchen to cook in too.

Spent three lovely days at this wonderful property with my husband, parents and dogs. Helen and Richard were very responsive, helpful, friendly and a pleasure to communicate with. Upon arrival, we found the site to be quiet and peaceful. The lodge is situated on its own plot and felt very private with plenty of comfortable seating areas right the way round it which lit up beautifully on a night time with fairy lights. Inside the lodge feels so homely and has such a unique character, decorated and furnished with a bright and cheerful charm. The many plants really set it off too! I love plants! We enjoyed our evenings playing games and watching films from the wide selection of DVD's provided, after a much needed soak in the hot tub. I scored the biggest bed which was very snuggly and I really appreciated the size of it for my pregnancy related tossing and turning without disrupting my husband's sleep! We thoroughly enjoyed our stay and would love to return again in the future!

Really lovely overnight stay and the host was great with instructions and information. Only small issue was a bit of noise from the neighbours and a slightly strange smell nearby but that wasn’t anything to do with the host or cabin itself. Would love to stay again!

We enjoyed our stay at Stowaway. We were looking for tranquility and here it was. The cabin was well stocked with cooking utensils and equipment . The cabin was lovely and clean and the comfortable bed was wonderful after a long day’s walking . The bus service is very handy and once parked we didn’t use the car at all . We took bus trips to Whitby , Staithes, and Saltburn . Thank you Kit for the little extras.

Lovely stay - from start to finish Lisa was a great host who allowed us a late check out, provided local recommendations of walks and even left us chocolates and Prosecco on arrival! The studio itself feels larger than the photos and was spotlessly clean. Clear guidance on how everything works was provided making for an easy stay. Thank you for a great stay!

Vanessa was very friendly gave clear and detailed directions to get to the property and instructions to get inside. the property was immaculate and felt so homely and comfortable. little touches are made to make you feel welcome. I would definitely recommend staying at Vanessa's place we can't wait to stay again

Nice large static caravan outside of York, but very convenient. Quiet and comfortable perfect for families.

We had a great stay at the lodge, it was perfectly clean and all as described. In a great location, peaceful and we saw deer outside the lodge. We walked into Bridlington and visited sewerby hall and gardens which were close by. Craig was always really quick at replying and gave clear instructions for check in etc. Thanks for a great stay we would definitely like to return and stay again.

We had an amazing time at the lodge. Beautiful view in a gorgeous setting over-looking the lake. Unfortunately we didn't get to enjoy the decking area as the weather was very wet & gloomy. We will definitely be back to stay for longer when the weather is warmer & enjoy the space outside. Great spot to visit Malton & only a 30 minute drive from York. Great base to explore, a car is definitely required. We ordered a chinese from the Queens Head (2 minute drive away) which was delicious & you could eat in as well. We had a fabulous time & our only negative was that we had only booked for one night. The lodge was spotless, with thoughtful touches everywhere. Warm, cosy & peaceful.

Mariners is a lovely beach house, fairly cosy size but plenty big enough for 2 adults, 2 teenage children and a golden retriever. Only a few minutes down to a lovely huge beach. Would certainly visit again.

Lovely lodge and as the pictures. Very spacious with plenty of space for the 4 adults and 2 children. A great space overall and full of everything you need. Great value

Lovely stay! Nice and clean and a lovely hot tub and provided with everything you need. only a 20 min drive from miles of golden sand too! Would definitely visit again, pictures were a totally different decor to what we actually got but in our case we actually preferred what we got so no complaints there it’s just something to be mindful of! I think there is a couple of different ones x

Lovely cabin. Situated in quiet corner of caravan park with wooded area to rear. Short walk available through woods 1-2 miles, just enough for small children. Easy access to Whitby/Robin Hoods Bay etc. Checkin was simple and was clean on arrival. Tea/coffee provided and towels/bedding. Wi-Fi was fast, no issues watching IPTV or devices on an evening. Would Recommend.

we had a wonderful weekend staying in your accommodation. we travelled to York a fair few times and this was a 20 minute drive. the lodge was beautiful, really cosy and we felt right at home. the lockbox was hard to find in the dark as we arrived in the evening however soon noticed it once we got back in the car. really beautiful lodge and great communication from the owner. thanks again.

Lovely, peaceful location, which served as a convenient base for our weekend in York, just a 25 minute drive away. Spacious cabin for our family of 4, which could comfortably fit 6 people. The balcony and garden are nice sunny areas to sit for morning breakfast and coffee. Our host was friendly and we would happily stay again.
