House vacation rentals in São Jorge

We were very impressed with our stay at the Atlantic Heritage Luxury Villa. Coming from Canada, we appreciated the level of communication from Carolina (booking manager) prior to our arrival. She was able to accommodate our many requests from airport transportation, to food and drinks, including getting us a bottle of 2013 Czar wine (not an easy thing to do). The home was stunning and had everything we needed for our family of 6. Everyone had a private room and washroom. We loved the large dining room table to enjoy all our meals together. The grounds are private, safe and so peaceful. We absolutely loved the view of Faial and the infinity pool. What made the whole stay special for us was our on-site host Catia. She prepared an amazing breakfast every day, was available for anything we needed, and made many great recommendations. Catia was so kind to our family and she is the reason our stay was extra special. We would highly recommend staying here, and we hope to be back one day!

He's probably the best host that I ever had the pleasure of working with. He is so nice and sincere. I arrived with a laundry list of travel issue none related to his air bnb or really his concern. He even helped me after I checkee out. Seriously nicest man ever. The place is clean and great parking. It's small but perfect for when exploring the island. Do yourself a favor and book it now.

Even before we arrived, we had the feeling that we were warmly welcomed. We received all the necessary information in advance. The house is on a quiet street. The view, the pool and the evening atmosphere are indescribable! At around 10 p.m. the Cory's Shearwaters come back from hunting and hold their "concert" for about 30 minutes. A unique experience that is rare outside of the Azores. The house is very well equipped, you can cook really well and there are also great restaurants not far away. It was super clean. We were given a very warm welcome and everything was explained and shown to us thoroughly. We had a wonderful time in this beautiful house!

Great location for this part of the island, the home was in great shape, hits way above the price point.

It was a very spacious and comfy home and we were welcomed very friendly even tho we arrived pretty late. The breakfast is also a very big plus at this apartment and the view of course …! Thank you for having us. :)

Brigitte was a wonderful host and we had a great time at her Airbnb. She did everything that we feel comfortable even with a great welcome basket and a local wine in the fridge. We can definitely recommend the place and it’s worth every cent with the sauna, the hot tube, the pool and the amazing few from the property.

This is an absolutely wonderful place. It is a beautiful modern gem with INCREDIBLE views of the oceans. António was so helpful with the check in and check out process. Also having a parking spot come with this place is so helpful in Sao Jorge!

Francisco was an excellent host! He was very communicative and we appreciated his local recommendations, especially to visit the celebration in Madalena. The house was fantastic and we enjoyed the view from outside where we ate all of our meals and relaxed when not out exploring Pico. I would highly recommend that anyone stay here, and we will do the same the next time we are visiting Pico.

This place was the highlight of our stay in the Azores. The location and views are fantastic. If the Airbnb scale didn't end at a maximum of 5 points, I would have given ten. Furnishings and architecture look even more beautiful in reality than they do in the photos. We will certainly come back.

Joanna’s place was fully refreshing, relaxing and stress free. Here you can really enjoy the privacy in a quiet and safe neighborhood. The air and the environment is very clean. Enjoying the beautiful ocean water and sunshine is really the best part of being here in the Azores. The extraordinary views of Pico make it a very interesting location. We love Diana's place! what an amazing view, . the faja is peaceful, stunning. stay here for sure! make sure you stay for a few nights to really take advantage and relax fully! we'll be back I'm sure! Diana's so friendly, helpful and it's great to meet the owner which can be a rarity these days on Airbnb we would've loved to have stayed for longer!

Wonderful host and a great location. Highly recommended.

We stayed six nights in the beautiful “Casa Do Gato Preto.” The house is very lovingly and personally decorated, there was nothing missing. It was very clean. We were greeted with milk, coffee, jam and delicious birthday cake. Marina is very friendly, attentive, helpful and always available. The surroundings are beautiful, the location is excellent for exploring the island. We felt very comfortable and would always like to spend our vacation there. The house is highly recommended.

Rarely, or never had such friendly and accommodating hosts! We felt very comfortable and the houses are incredibly beautifully located. We could look at the sea from the bed and terrace, had everything we needed, got great tips and were even equipped with local products! ❤️ We had a great time and highly recommend Tobias and Silke, as well as their tiny houses!

Charming village escape - with a few minor tweaks needed! This beautiful and peaceful little house is located in what I consider to be the most charming village on the whole island. The surroundings down near the harbour are simply enchanting. Although the house itself is quite small, it has (almost) everything you need for a short stay. I especially appreciated the good shower, strong wifi, and comfortable mattresses. Best of all was the fantastic roofed terrace where I spent many hours relaxing, even when it was raining, after long days working on photo shoots. A few small additions would make this place even better: Hooks for towels: There was literally nowhere to hang towels in the bathroom or bedroom. Cleaning supplies: A broom and dustpan would be helpful for a quick clean. Clothes drying rack: A place to dry clothes indoors would be very useful. Matches: We couldn't get the oven to light with the provided sparking lighter, so matches would be a good addition.

House with incredible view of São Jorge Island, located in a quiet location. It has many amenities, an equipped kitchen, I recommend it for large groups.

We enjoyed our stay with views of Faial across the water and Pico inland. The bed was comfortable and the surroundings quiet.

Mizé & Estela's house was beautiful! We liked not only the location and the breathtaking view of the ocean and the neighboring island of Sao Jorge, but also the design and amenities of the house very much. In this house you have everything you need for a perfect vacation. We can also recommend the Magma restaurant in the neighborhood. This place was a treat! Marianna’s place is meticulously decorated and makes you feel like you entered your own private vacation house. Such a relaxing atmosphere with a breathtaking view over the blue with some sightings of the neighbouring island. Marianna went above and beyond to make sure we had everything we needed in order to fully enjoy our stay in Pico. We are beyond grateful for everything she did and the great recommendations she gave us. She’s a wonderful hostess and person with great energy. I am very happy I got to meet her. This place is actually an independent house with a bedroom and another smaller room, which could be used as an office. On top of this, you also have a living room with a sofa-bed. In my view, perfect for a remote working situation. The location is super peaceful, with a view to the mountain, cows and birds always singing. The house is equipped with everything you need and situated just a stone throw from Madalena town center, which is not a problem as you always need a car to get around the island. Definitely recommend it!

the experience was great! this place is in a really beautiful position, with a stunning view a few metres from you and the position is the best if you want something different from the city. the hosts are superfriendly and everything here is fit to be part of a great experience in Pico! Super recommended!
