Vacation rentals in Lajes

Great stay with a super host in a fantastic spot. We stayed for ten days on Terceira and in Thomas' place. The house is as advertised: Cosy and private, with beautiful views and on top of the cliffs of the northern coast. Thomas was super welcoming and responsive, always checking to see if he could do anything to make our stay even better and with helpful tips for things to do. When staying at the house, don't forget it is a studio, i.e. a single room that includes your bed, sitting area and kitchen. Given the mild climate you will probably spend most of your time outdoors anyway. The bathroom is good, clean and modern with a walk in/down shower. Despite large windows in the shower area you have full privacy due to the lack of neighbors. The kitchen has good appliances, but lacks a few utensils. If you plan to have people over for dinner, you may want to reach out to Thomas for extra dishes and silverware. Definitively a 5 Star property.

Very nice apartment that looks exactly like the pictures. Streets around the house are pretty steep but it is very close to town and walking distance to restaurants/shops. Views are great and owners are thoughtful

This was by far one of the best airbnbs I have rented out. We had a great time and this house made the vacation much better. Right by the beach, the location was perfect and close to all the shops and coffee shops as well. The AC worked well and made it a very comfortable as-well as the cleanness of the house which was impressive. They had everything we needed and the hosts were very responsive. Would definitely recommend this listing for anyone looking to book on this island.

The cottage by the sea was a magical, peaceful base from which to explore Terceira. The house is well decorated, clean and has the most incredible terrace and view. It was well equipped and had everything you could need. Carlota was kind and responsive. Stop looking and book this place now. There is a reason that it has all 5 star reviews!

Albert was an excellent host. He was very welcoming and attentive to any of our needs. He went out of his to make sure we had what we needed to make our stay enjoyable, answer questions and make restaurant recommendations. I have stayed at MANY airbnb’s over the years and Jorge’s property is in the top two of all (The other being in Mendocino, California). Jorge was an amazing host, the location was incredibly relaxing and beautiful, and the home was comfortable, well-stocked and clean. I would return in a heartbeat and highly recommend this property to anyone who will be traveling to Terciera.
