We had a wonderful time over the weekend staying at The Funky Chicken! It is situated about 45 minutes away from Yosemite and five minutes from nearby grocery stores, which helped us pack perfectly for our trip. We enjoyed returning to the hot tub at the end of the day and we’re thoroughly impressed by how spacious the place felt. The kitchen is spotless and had everything we needed to cook basic meals, the couch and TV area are super comfortable, and we had a great foosball tournament! The bed was also incredibly comfortable and made it hard for us to get up in the mornings to go hiking. 😂 Would definitely recommend.

I loved the guesthouse! It was cozy and felt a little like home. I love how open it is- perfect with young kids in the house with us. And the dog toys and how dog friendly the home was- was amazing! Would love to come back soon!

No complaints here! The place was quiet and clean and the backyard was beautiful.

Nice area of Modesto close to features guests would be interested in including night life and eateries. They also had lots of citrus fruit trees on the property and encouraged us to share. It was too cold to enjoy the pool but it made for a scenic back drop. It was a pleasant getaway, private yet accessible to all the things.

Jonathon's place was perfect, great location and good price. Cute little house and perfect for me my fiancé and our girls. Quiet street and neighborhood overall a great place and we will def be back.

My husband and I needed a place to stay for the night and popped up AirBnb and this spot was one of the first ones that was suggested and I’m glad it did! The house was exactly as described and Kadi was quick to respond to any questions. The creek was a beautiful added touch in the morning to check out. We would recommend staying here and if we’re ever in the area again, we will definitely stop!

My stay at Katie and Len’s place was great. Their cottage is very comfortable, the location was perfect, and they are excellent hosts. I enjoyed my Sonora visit very much.

Just wow! I frequently visit family in Fresno and this is by FAR the best Airbnb I’ve stayed in. And given I’ve stayed in close to 50 Airbnbs all over the world, my standards are pretty high. The host was extremely communicative and friendly. The place was spotless, the bed was sooo comfy, and the design of the place couldn’t have been cuter. The weather outside was freezing and we were worried the place would be cold too, but nope. It heated right up. And quickly too! The best part was the neighborhood. It was an easy walk to Tower District and Olive Street where there were tons of the most charming family owned stores, restaurants, cafes and bars. Don’t hesitate to book here. Jose’s place is SUCH a gem!! I will absolutely be staying here again.

We had an incredible time at this cozy cabin just a short drive from Yosemite National Park. About 30 mins from the south entrance and another hour to the valley. The location was perfect for exploring the park and offered a peaceful retreat after a day of hiking. The cabin itself was clean and well-maintained. The only small drawback was the lack of coffee supplies. While the kitchen was fully equipped with a coffee maker, there were no coffee grounds, or filters provided (unless leftover by previous guests). It’s not a dealbreaker, but something to keep in mind for future guests and would’ve been a simple touch, if provided by the host. The kitchen is small, but was perfectly fine for our stay as we didn’t do any extravagant cooking. We loved all the cozy blankets! And the washer dryer was very useful as we packed light and one of our days was spent hiking in the rain. Overall, this was a fantastic place to stay, and we’d highly recommend it to anyone looking to visit Yosemite!

Staying at the Knotty Hideaway was amazing. it was so peaceful, saw deer and turkeys roaming, and the place had very homey touches and thoughtful additions. the hosts were extremely responsive and no complaints. Highly recommend. :)

It’s like a Cape Cod bungalow. Cozy and comfortable. Located in a great neighborhood, walkable to downtown Morgan Hill, this newly renovated cottage is well appointed and immaculately maintained. Our host, Betsey, is very kind and accommodating. She is accessible when needed, but is not intrusive to her guests. I cannot recommend this cottage highly enough but hesitate to do so in hopes of keeping it all to ourselves. You will not be disappointed with both the cottage and its amazing host, Betsey

We seek out places to stay that are private, close to nature, quiet & to unwind from our busy jobs. We found it at Red Tail Ranch. Beautiful scenic drive to Hetch Hetchy entrance 40 minutes drive.

We particularly enjoyed cooking in the kitchen. We had no problems with the school next door and navigating the cones they use. The location was convenient to the relatives we were visiting. Apartment felt spacious. HVAC was good.

As a family of 4, including two small active kids, this place was a little slice of heaven to enjoy nature to the most. What a beautiful getaway. The house was clean, cozy, practical, comfortable and we loved to enjoy California’s fall weather through the window while eating Aimee’s delicious cinnamon rolls for breakfast. Everything was super organized and tidy, we had everything we needed to make our stay the wonderful vacation we planned. The location was perfect: close to Yosemite National Park, Pinecrest Lake, historic and cute towns like Jamestown and Copperopolis. We were even able to go to South Lake Tahoe (3 hours away) enjoying the beauty of a road trip in Northern California. A highlight was also the mini tour through the farm we did with their daughter Amelia. Our kids were so happy to feed the chickens ❤️ We would love to come back during summer. I’ve stayed at Cara’s properties several times - and always feel confident booking my return trips. This apartment and location is lovely - and Cara is a gracious host!

This is the second time that my wife and I have stayed here and we can't recommend it enough. The property is beautiful, the cottage is very comfortable, and it's a few hundred feet away from an excellent winery. What more could you ask for?

It’s a nice place. Looks bigger in pictures but still was plenty of space for me. Definitely nice neighborhood that seemed safe. Multiple lights would randomly flicker a little but wasn’t a big deal for me honestly. Place was definitely clean and the bed was comfortable to me (it was kind of on the firm side but I like firm). The heater worked quite well but was a little bit noisy which I personally didn’t mind but some might care bout that. Getting a response was unfortunately a bit difficult but thankfully I only really had two questions during this stay. Nevertheless I definitely do recommend this spot as a place to stay for one or two people. The door might possibly lock a little before checkout at least it did for me so just be mindful of that just in case. Oh and forgot to mention that the water pressure on the shower was great. I can say that I overall enjoyed my stay and wouldn’t mind coming back if I needed a place to stay in San Jose.
