This place is highly recommended. It is spacious, cozy with beautiful details and the wine you can have there is great!!! We enjoy the view of the vinard and Sequoia National Park is close

It was such a nice stay with a familiar atmosphere and a great breakfast!

My husband and I came here on our honeymoon and absolutely loved it! The host was so nice and the place was beautiful! It took about 2 hours to get to the general sherman tree in the Sequoia National Park which is why we came. We also enjoyed the School House Tavern and the breakfast that was provided was absolutely amazing. Would definitely recommend to anyone wanting to explore the national parks ! Oh yes and the wine was so superb !

Very responsive host, place is beautifully in a hill very nice scenery. The jet tub was a plus. Enjoyed my quick stay. Nice little breakfast by the host! ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️

Joan’s house is perfect! We had a lovely staying. Joan and her two dogs were very friendly and welcoming. We really felt at home. It takes about an hour to get to the park, but the view is amazing and it was totally worth it. We hope to get back there soon!

This is a great spot to stay before heading to Yosemite National Park! The hosts are very friendly and they even shared breakfast with us! I highly recommend staying here if you’re looking for an affordable option nearby the forest.

We had a wonderful stay with Bette. Very close to the entrance to Yosemite. Bette had wonderful recommendations for things to do, restaurants. We felt right at home. Would definitely stay again

We had an amazing time at Sunny Rae’s place! We love animals and had so much interactions with horses , cats , chickens and the dog Bella! Sunny is such a kind person with good energy and very welcoming ! We felt ourselves like at home ! Definitely will come back and not once! Recommend the place for getaway from the city to get positive energy and true relaxation at the peaceful environment ! Thank you Sunny for the great weekend for us !

Alan and Beth were perfect host for us! They made us feel special and home in their house by proactive communication like tips for Yosemite and checking access with the local authorities. I can’t describe how nice our three night here were. Awesome breakfast, cozy house, cute dog Charlotte and super open and friendly Beth and Alan:)! Sunny Rae’s home was the perfect place to stay for going to Yosemite. She had a cleaning lady come before I had arrived, but the bathroom wasn’t cleaned to her standards, so Sunny cleaned it herself. I really appreciated that. The towels were soft and of course, clean as were the linens. The bed and pillows were extremely comfortable so I slept well! She made a delicious omelette from the eggs her chickens lay. I also got to meet Bella, her sweet boxer, the horses and the outdoor cats and kittens. What a treat if you like animals. Sunny is a warm and kind hearted person that cares about her guests’ stay. It was quite an experience, so I would definitely come back to stay at Sunny’s. She welcomes you into her home like family.

This place very difficult to find on G Maps or Apple Maps, but Elise sent me the clear instructions prior to my arrival . Thanks for her instructions I was able to find the right door eventually (in the dark). I bet it will be much more easier in the day light. But once you find the place for the first time , then it will be much much more easier to come back again. The room has a private entrance with digital lock so that you will need passcode (which will be provided by Elise) to enter. The room is clean and organized with attached full bathroom. You will have fridge, microwave, coffee maker, kettle, heater and TV in your room, and many books to share. Elise is very friendly, welcoming, responsive. She also prepared lots of my snacks and cold rootbeer in the fridge, she also stored coffee and bagels, milk, cream and cupcakes in the fridge for my breakfast. I will definitely recommend this place. And I will stay there again when I go back to Mariposa or Yosemite National Park.

Paul and Joy are so welcoming and made our Yosemite trip extra special! They really pay attention to detail and ensured we had a relaxing stay, including a phenomenal breakfast! Keep it up!
