Monthly Rentals in Saint James City

We absolutely loved our stay here on Pine Island. The home and the yard around the home was so peaceful. You are far enough away from neighbors next door that you don't hear them. People across the canal were very friendly and always said good morning when I was out on the pier drinking my coffee. The island itself was amazing and driving from one end to the other took about 25 min. There are a lot of great hiking spots at the different preserves you can go to. There's also the Calusa Historical trail which was cool. An important thing to note is that there is no beach on the island, there are a few spots to put your feet in the water but no actual beach. We knew this when we booked and had scheduled in a beach day trip to Sanibel Island which is about 1.5 hours away when it's busy. Matlacha is a town on an island in between Pine Island and Cape Coral which has a bunch of cute shops but is still recovering from the hurricane. Overall we had an amazing trip and can't wait to come back

We have stayed at several ABnB’s and this was one of the best places we’ve stayed. The entire house was very clean and exactly as described. We loved sitting on the screened porch and watching manatees and dolphins swim by. We rented a boat and kept it at the private dock. So nice being able to go out and enjoy the area. There are several local restaurants nearby, within 2 miles, that serve fresh seafood that are really good. This house and location was perfect for us to explore the area. I highly recommend this home.

We really enjoyed watching the Manatees from the back. Fishing from shore and enjoying the peacefulness. A diamond in the rough.

If you are thinking about this spot, just do it! We had a great time and saw manatees and dolphins every day right outside of the window! We brought a boat and easily drove it to the slip through the canals and were able to go out into the bay most of the days we stayed. Very easy compared to launching from a ramp every time we anted to go out. The house is beautiful and looks just like all the the photos. Our group had an amazing time
