Tiny house vacation rentals in River Medway

We really appreciated the friendliness of our hosts and the willingness to make our stay super easy and relaxed. We had so much space to ourselves, lots of useful things like firewood and a fridge full of breakfast things! Joe was around to help if needed and the washing up was discreetly taken away and returned. We stayed in January and the hut was super warm. Joe had warmed it in advance of our arrival too. It's a beautiful spot on the South Downs with access to footpaths and lots of bird watching opportunities. Highly recommended.

What a fantastic weekend we had in Sue’s cabin. Felt very off-grid but able to access the outside world if we wanted to. So cosy and warm, lovely shower, just very peaceful. Perfect if you want to do nothing and be undisturbed. We went to Wakehurst, which was stunning. Fantastic food and a lovely welcome at The Fox pub nearby. Thank you for your warm welcome Sue.

Beech house is welcoming and relaxing, in a quiet spot but within easy reach of villages and the coast. The house is well furnished, built and appointed to an excellent standard by the owners themselves, and the quality stands out. Fabulous log burner, high beamed ceilings, cute kitchen, lovely bathroom with hot powerful shower and a comfy bed. Very cosy 😊 homemade bread, jam and butter was a lovely welcome. Hosts are friendly, helpful and responsive. We will be back soon

We loved staying in the Bothy, the place was peaceful and such a comfy bed. We spent most of the time playing games on front of the fire. There were plenty of walking routes right from the door step. Perfect for us, we hope to return soon!

This was our third time staying at The Barn and we will certainly be back again! We instantly feel settled and comfortable in this perfect set-up. It’s located in the most amazing spot with cute shops and restaurants at your doorstep. Our dog feels super comfortable being there and having the small garden is ideal. Cath is delightful and responsive with her messages. We felt very welcomed and were grateful for the thoughtful touches on arrival. Can’t wait for visit number four!

Elizabeth's place is a lovely, relaxing property, off the beaten track. I have stayed before and love the views and would stay again. Be aware that the roads to the property are single track and you may have to pull over to pass other vehicles but well worth the effort.

Second time we have stayed here and we wouldn’t stay anywhere else when visiting Whitstable and feels like a home away from home. A breeze to check in, really cosy even if the freezing temperatures outside, less than 5 minutes to walk to the town and the coast and Joanne is always a delight. A lovely place to stay all round.

We cannot recommend Snap Mill Barn highly enough. The hosts have thought of everything and it is beautifully furnished to a very high standard. Sue and Steve met us when we arrived and explained everything that we needed to know. We had no problems during our stay, but it’s reassuring that they are right next door if you need them. The location is perfect if you are looking for a peaceful stay and there are some beautiful walks and pubs nearby – our dog felt very at home, there were even treats for the dog! We stayed at the barn while our house was being renovated, and it was a perfect escape from the building work. We were sad to leave. Thanks Sue and Steve from Jacquie and Andy 😊

Thanks for a lovely stay. We stayed here for one night for my birthday. Check in was easy, the place itself had everything we needed and despite the horrendous weather of high winds and torrential rain, my partner, my dog and I absolutely loved it. Thanks so much and would highly recommend.

Stayed here 2 nights in January 25 to shop and sight see in Brighton. It's a very special place to stay. The decor is stunning and unique, so many personal touches. We loved the sauna and used the outside shower to have an invigorating cold blast between saunas then warm up. Great location for walking into Brighton city centre and Seven Dials, just a few minutes walk, has lots of great restaurants and pubs. Great communication with host including lots of recommendations. We'd love to come back.

Our stay here was very nice. We both really enjoyed our night with the complimentary champagne and indoor jacuzzi. It has been kept in pristine condition and the owners have great customer service always being one text or call away. We also very much appreciated the complimentary morning teas opposite the hut and the quick responses to any issues we had. In addition, it was bonus that there were a plethora of local amenities. Overall, the Retreat Hut was a great experience for us both and we will definitely return. K & J 🙏🏽🙌🏽

We had an amazing time staying at Emma and David’s beautiful Shepard’s hut. It certainly lived up to the reviews and we would love to return. David and Emma made us feel right at home, and we especially loved the wood burner!

A perfect place for respite. Elise is marvellous, organised, kind and warm and could not do enough to make sure we had whatever we needed. We only stayed a night but felt like we had been transported to another place and time. I was in my happy place watching the birds with a cuppa as the sun rose and my teenager daughter was delighted with the Insta interiors and her own space. Elise has created something very, very special and it was a privilege to spend time in a space that has clearly ha so much creativity and loved poured into it. Everything you need is close by, the beach, the bars, shops and there are even bikes to borrow. Six stars out of five form us.

Kenny's Hut was as described if not better. Absolutely perfect little private retreat. I have rated every 5 stars as I would give honest constructive feedback if that's how I felt or I felt it was good but didn't quite live up to expectations/ pricing. But in all truth it was faultless and even the little touches like leaving milk in the fridge, having the hot tub heated for our arrival, meant a lot. Clare and I assume her partner were both very lovely people also, which is an added bonus, and their dogs are adorable. We will definitely be staying again. Thank you for having us 😊

We really enjoyed our stay at The Hut in Horsmonden. Caroline was lovely and sent a message in advance with directions, she met us on arrival and was so friendly. Accommodation was really cute and lovely and clean. We only stayed for one night but wish it could’ve been longer! We will be back ⭐️

This was the 5th time we have stayed and every time have received a warm welcome. The accommodation has everything you need for a comfortable stay 100% would recommend.

Lush little place in the woods. Booked for a stop gap before travelling to Gatwick, which is only 15mins away. Maranda and Steve were very friendly, helpful and responsive. Would defo come again!

This cute little cabin made for the loveliest, cosy weekend away. Walking distance to the town/market, restaurants and cafes ect, we didn’t use the car at all! Nick gave clear, helpful instructions and we were able to contact him if we needed to. The accommodation was very clean and tidy and Nick provided lovely little extras like eggs, bread, cereal, milk, yogurts and some sweets too, great touches! Brilliant location, great host, lovely accommodation…we look forward to returning. Thanks Nick!

A beautiful little hidey hole right in the centre of a lively village, but so peaceful, and surrounded by wonderful country walks. Possibly a bit cramped for two, but, for me and my dog, just perfect!

We had the best stay at The Staying Inn! Such beautiful surroundings and the hut was so cozy! We loved it so much- would deffo come back!

Lovey stay, everything was easy to find on the plot and our two little boys had so much fun playing on the tractor in the garden and exploring the local woods/surrounding area. Will definitely return in the summer! Log burner kept us very cosy and firpit outside was great fun. Thank you Tilly. Will book directly next time 💪🏼

A fab little hut - the privacy and peacefulness was extremely enjoyable! Louise was very responsive and welcoming. Would definitely recommend!
