Bed and breakfast vacation rentals in River Medway

Shirley is a lovely and gentle lady. I came to London to settle down and have been staying here for about a month while looking for my next rental. I feel at home with her, especially when we watch TV during dinner time. Haha.

Jane is a great host and her cat Esme steals the show! I felt very comfortable in that little roses room. And her attic room?! Incredible! What a place to be! I highly recommend booking that for yourself when in doubt :) Very quiet but central location. Loved it!

I had a lovely stay! Harriet was very nice and thoughtful, and we had some lovely chats during my visit. Although I know the area v well, location was excellent, and the adorable Topper added a lot of warmth to the home. The room was comfortable and cosy ensuring a smooth, relaxing stay.

We had a lovely time staying at Leroy and Chris’s home! The room was a bit tight for 3 people, but it was doable and really not an issue considering we were out of the house most of the day. Leroy served us such nice breakfasts and we had really lovely conversations with him each morning. The house is a 2 minute walk from the train station, making the rest of London extremely accessible. Great place to book if you plan on exploring and being out of the house most of the day. I’d describe it as a very elevated hostel type of Airbnb (don’t expect any access to the rest of the house). The room was incredibly clean and the dogs were very much so out of the way :) I’d recommend, they were lovely hosts.

We had an incredible stay at this AirBnB! The room was absolutely superb, with an exceptionally comfortable bed that ensured a great night's sleep, and the bathroom was spacious and luxurious—truly one of the highlights of our stay. The hosts were beyond wonderful. They were incredibly kind, offering excellent recommendations for exploring the area, and their responsiveness was impressive. We especially loved the breakfasts they prepared—delicious and thoughtfully made, they were the perfect way to start each day. The house itself was stunning—one of the best we have ever stayed in. Everything about it exuded comfort and quality, making it feel like a true home away from home. If we ever visit London again, this will undoubtedly be our first choice. We cannot recommend this place highly enough!

Our second fabulous stay in this extraordinary B&B in the countryside. Very tastefully decorated in a rustic eclectic style. L&R are the most welcoming and warmhearted hosts. An exceptional experience.

The house is incredible! It's unique and beautiful, it has stories upon stories to tell and it feels like a fairytale at times, something straight out of a movie. The location is great, close to everything in the city centre, quiet at night and a safe neighbourhood! But the main reason this place was so good is, for sure, Andrew - the host - and his shadow angel, little Tilly! Andrew is friendly, helpful and very proactive. He made me feel at home the moment I stepped into his house and I've never felt so welcomed in a place. I usually have a hard time falling asleep while travelling, but my bedroom was so clean, warm, comfortable and soft that, as soon as my head hit the pillow at night, I would rest immediately. It was my first time in the UK, and it was such an incredible experience that I am planning on going back asap! A million times worth the stay. It's beautiful and comforting, like a nice cup of tea in winter, or a refreshing drink during summer. Thank you, Andrew and Tilly!

Vivienne does everything she can to make you feel welcome and at home. She goes much further than any host I have experienced before with a stocked fridge, tea coffee and everything you may need for your stay. Can't fault Vivienne, the location or anything about our stay simply superb

We felt very welcomed by Jane & John, they were chatty & friendly and the breakfast was 5*. Jane found me some gluten free bread and cooked a delicious brekkie for us. We chatted to John about a local walk & he got his map to check our route. Lovely people, highly recommend.

The bed was very comfy and the view from the room was really great. The room has a very good size.

Perfect location for a short break in Brighton. Clean, quiet and away from the busy areas. 10 minutes in an Uber to the town centre and bus stop nearby if you prefer. Comfortable and everything we needed - we spent most of our time in town and/or with friends locally. Paula was a great host, nothing was too much trouble. Poppy is lovely too!

I stayed at Elaines with my mum on a previous occasion. This time my mum and dad stayed with Elaine and this is what they had to say; 'We thoroughly enjoyed our stay at Elaine and Teg's, they are friendly and welcoming hosts, and the breakfast was very good - a lovely additional extra. Elaine got to know what we liked, and adapted the breakfast accordingly. Elaine was flexible with the check-in time, which was very helpful. The place is spotless, and cosy, and we will definitely stay again. We highly recommend Elaine and Tegs!

I would absolutely love to stay here again. Lovely couple and a really lovely place to stay. It was a perfect location to stay after a wedding in Ticehurst. The room was absolutely spotless! Lovely comfy beds to sleep in and fresh linen. It was exactly what we needed. The breakfast was best Ive had in a long long time and lots of choice! 10/10 Worth every penny. We would definitely return again as its a perfect place to stay to explore the area Thankyou so much for being such great hosts. Best wishes Luke, Jess and Bo x

Mara was a lovely host and the room was quiet and clean.

The room was spacious and comfortable, just like description, bright and airy thanks to large bay window, especially made homely with lots of plants and cushions, the bed was luxurious, the TV screen gigantic and as a bonus, there was a large container of filtered water. The shared spaces were clean and tidy. And the host friendly and helpful! thanks Dan for providing great accommodation 😊

Review This is a 5* air b n b - pictures don’t do it justice. It’s spotlessly clean with a range of high quality complimentary breakfast items and tea/coffee/fresh milk. Utility room has small kitchenette with utensils, microwave and mini fridge. Rooms has iron and travel hairdryer and Mattress was super comfy. En suite is accessed through separate door across a small hallway so overall feels very spacious. Tamila was very responsive. Would highly recommend and access to garden is bonus!

Ana is lovely. She is chatty, friendly, easy-going, helpful and so accommodating. Ana has done an incredible job in decorating her house. The bedroom was spotless, clean, modern, comfortable bed and pillows. The bathroom was also spotless. The house is not far from Kensal Road Station and all local amenities.

We enjoyed our week stay in Sussex, clean place and cozy, everything you need and friendly host , thank you for having us .

Really friendly hosts, a lovely clean and cosy room. Small space but perfect for 2 on a short stay. Lovely patio window, we could sit in bed and watch the blackbirds and wrens popping about the patio garden. Everything you could need…coffee, tea, biscuits and a continental breakfast. We will definitely be back. Thank you for a lovely stay.

Great place to stay: clean, comfortable and very convenient to reach the means of transport. The owner Maurizio was always available for various advice, and very welcoming to us. Absolutely redo experience!

As we drove through the double wooden gates, we were in awe by the grandeur of this delightful thatched home with its welcoming Xmas decorations outside and carefully selected decor in every nook. A delicious spread of food awaited us each morning, and we were privy to Chris’s famous orange marmalade. What surprised me was the attention to detail including olives/feta knowing my heritage. A true festive treat was having Xmas crackers on our last morning. Michele’s attention to detail was impeccable. She is such a gem. 💎 However all that aside, what will make our stay forever memorable was our lovely hosts Michele and Chris. We truly loved our conversations each morning. They both created such a lovely, welcoming atmosphere. We came in as guests but we have left as friends. We truly hope we come back again. If Airbnb gave awards to the best hosts, Michele and Chris would win hands down. 🏆
