Vacation rentals with a kayak in Princeville

My brother and I spent 9 nights in Bruce's cottage and can't imagine staying anywhere else WHEN we come back to Kauai. The home felt very private, even though on the farm property. I've seen other reviews mentioning ants, but they were a very minor issue, just keep the kitchen clean and you won't see them! We loved the geckos, they are so harmless and will even pose for up close pictures! You'll get used to the roosters, they are everywhere on the island, just bring earplugs to ensure a good night's sleep. Bed's were cozy, King in the bedroom as well as the pullout couch in the living room. Plenty of linens and pillows. Showers were great, a spacious indoor shower and a great outdoor shower as well. We took advantage of Bruce's rental car. Very well kept and clean SUV. Cheaper than a rental and Bruce provided pickup & dropoff services at the airport. Lastly, we played in 2 "farmball" games on the Fridays. So fun! All the players were so friendly and welcoming. Mahalo Bruce

The home was perfect for my family of five. My wife and I, two teens, and an 8 year old. Communication was great, check-in was easy, and the check out requests were more than reasonable. If you want to do all that the north shore offers, this is a great family house.

We enjoyed a wonderful family vacation. There was a beautiful gift basket on our arrival. The house was very clean and well organized, especially the kitchen. There was great beach equipment! Of course the hot tub was a favorite especially the water feature.

We had a truly wonderful stay! This home was the perfect home base for our trip. The kitchen was fantastic and well-stocked, which was ideal since we cooked most of our meals. We loved spending time on the balcony, where we were treated to stunning views of waterfalls and rainbows—truly magical. The layout of the home was perfect for two couples, with two primary bedrooms on separate levels, each with its own en suite bathroom. It gave everyone plenty of privacy and made the space feel especially comfortable and well thought out. The home itself has a clean, calming, almost zen vibe, and it’s beautifully decorated. We also really appreciated the hosts’ generosity with local recommendations, which helped us make the most of our time in the area. Highly recommend—would absolutely stay here again!

Beautiful place, we enjoyed the patio and birds singing each morning. Our kids loved the pool. Great walkable neighborhood especially by the golf course and you have to go at night to see the stars, they are amazing here. North shore is our favorite and David’s place was the perfect location.

Susan’s place was amazing for the first leg of our trip to Kaua’i! The photos do not do it Justice, there is lots of space to spread out and the host provides anything you would need for a beach vacation!

As we opened the door to Coco B we were pleasantly surprised by the island music playing, a welcome note and fresh flowers. A perfect start to our trip to Kauai. We loved the outdoor garden and access to fruit trees, beach chairs, snorkeling gear and kayaks for secret falls. We felt right at home at would love to return someday. 🥰🌺🌴

This was a perfect place for our family vacation! We loved the location. It was a quick drive to Hanalei, a short walk to the coffee shop and grocery store, and a lovely bike ride to the Anini Beach trailhead. The home had everything we needed plus the bonus details of AC in the bedrooms, six bikes, ping pong table, hot tub, outdoor shower, plenty of beach gear for snorkeling or lounging. We enjoyed having a relaxing and quiet home to come to each evening. Our adult kids (who are on their own in busy careers) came with us so the time to just relax and be together was great. We all agreed that Deborah’s lovely and quiet home is the perfect place and we plan to stay here every time we return!

Great stay at Laurie's place - outstanding views and excellent outdoor space/furniture to enjoy them. Unit was very clean and provided all the amenities we needed. Laurie was very accommodating and provided great local tips. Highly recommend!!
