Fern Grotto Inn is the perfect home base for exploring Kauai. It is centrally located in Kapaa, on the banks of the Wailua River, and only a block from the beach. You can paddle the Wailua River with our kayaks and SUP's or take our bikes for a spin on the bike path. Coco B is a studio apartment on the ground floor of a four unit cottage, mere steps from Wailua Beach. Glass doors and large windows bring fresh air and garden views to the sun-soaked interior.

We loved our stay! The condo was perfect for our family—clean, well-equipped with all the amenities we needed, and easy to tidy up at departure. The location was incredibly convenient, with a small shopping center (including a Safeway) right across the street. It was also within walking distance to Kapaa, where we found great restaurants and bars. The “Sleeping Giant” trailhead was nearby, as were boat tours, making it a great spot for exploring the area. Amir was very responsive and quick to answer any questions we had. We also appreciated having access to the condo’s pool, and the beach with loungers was just a short walk away. We would definitely stay here again! A quick note—the condo faces the shopping center rather than the ocean, this wasn’t an issue for us at all. We truly enjoyed our time here!

We had a great experience staying here in this Airbnb. We met Michal a few days in and she is so sweet. She was very responsive and helpful, it felt like we made a friend right away. The room is small but cute, perfect for 1 or 2 and the amenities were great. The area is very well thought out with some things I had never seen in Airbnb's before and the soaps/shampoos were very nice so no need to bring your own if you don't want. There is lots to do walking distance which is nice if you care about that. I would highly recommend giving this place a stay if it fits your criteria.

The wyndham resort was nice and clean. Didn't stay on the property much as we went out on daily adventures. It was nice having a stocked kitchen and didn't need to buy anything in order to cook meals. Very close to Foodland, Hanalei Bay and not far from Kapaa. Would stay again.

We had a wonderful, peaceful 4 nites here with everything we could have needed. Matt answered all our questions. The welcome guide was outstanding. Our room, although small, was comfy and well-stocked. We appreciated the free use of the laundry also. Kapa’a seemed like a nice, centralized location to visit all the other areas of the island. We would definitely stay here again on a future visit to Kauai.
