We had a wonderful time on Pine Island! This rental was truly lovely, offering fantastic views that we thoroughly enjoyed. The location was perfect for us, as we spent many delightful afternoons and evenings relaxing on the beach. Just a friendly tip for future guests: while the beach is public, we encountered a neighbor who seemed protective of the area directly in front of the house, which Kimberly did warn us about in the house book. We politely addressed his concerns, and it wasn't an issue afterward. Overall, a fantastic stay and we would definitely recommend this property!

The house is exceptional and Patty is an excellent host. This is my 2nd time staying at the property and will plan to return because the lakeside location is fantastic. Plenty of space to host large families with several indoor and outdoor activities depending on weather and time of day. One of my favorite places to stay!

The location is wonderfully perfect! There was a little bit for everyone to enjoy. We all thoroughly enjoyed starting and ending the day from the dock, the neighborhood was peaceful. We enjoyed the Singing River Tour with Captain's John and Luk. We hope to be back again.

We absolutely loved our stay!! The place was so cute and accommodating for all, the 1.5 yr old, dog and 4 adults. Although the fishing poles provided have had much use before us, we were able to catch some catfish & reds after we purchased a few poles from the local shop :) Everything was as described and Kristen was full of recommendations- super helpful if you’re not from the area. As a momma, I will say the porch area is a little uneasy with a toddler as the bannisters are a little wide and he can slip thru them- but we still enjoyed our time nevertheless! - Just a little heads up :) We enjoyed renting a boat from Twin Rivers Marina which allowed access to the local springs. We also enjoyed an airboat tour with Ozello Airboat tours-who were super accommodating with the baby. Ozello keys did not disappoint, can’t wait to tell our friends about this little hidden gem 💙☀️

Wonderful, clean, comfortable, well-equipped home off the beaten path. Easy access to the bay and Gulf if you’re kayaking or fishing. Lots of mangroves though so make sure you bring your bug spray! Our favorite restaurants were The Island Outpost for breakfast (Island Outpost omelette 🤤), Backwater Fins for lunch and Waterfront Social in Crystal River are a must!! The only tiny thing we had to adjust to…there is no door between the master bedroom and bathroom. No deal breaker here but would’ve been a bit easier to have a little privacy while using either room. Overall, excellent place. Looking forward to going back again soon. Thank you for sharing your home with us.

Another fantastic stay at the Hellgate Scallop house. Beautiful, peaceful and a fishing paradise.

We were looking for a quiet place with kayaking and fishing. The neighborhood was so peaceful and quiet, there was no concern. The booklet was clear in the instructions and everything was exactly where she said they would be. The place was immaculate, nothing missed. The home is cozy and modern and the screened in porch is where we spent most of our time enjoying the serenity.

We absolutely loved the house! What a great place to get away from the hustle and bustle! We will for sure be staying there again!

Ahhh what an amazing place. My wife and I and our two young kids stayed here for Labor Day weekend. This Airbnb is right on the Gulf of Mexico with a beautiful view from the windows. Beach access is a short five minute walk down the road that has a Playground, and the most amazing sunsets. Since we’re into Paddle boarding, we had a local paddleboard place SUP Weeki drop off a couple paddle boards, and there’s a boat launch right across the street. You can launch the paddle boards and paddle out in the Gulf of Mexico. The place itself is completely renovated, everything that you could possibly need, spotless furniture, and super clean/organized. The beds had super soft sheets and the kids loved the bunkbeds. There’s even a little yoga stretching room for a morning stretch with the kids. Host is super nice and responds right away. Highly recommend!

This was a great house for a relaxing weekend getaway. We enjoyed exploring the area on the kayaks, which were in great shape. The house was clean and provided everything we needed to prepare meals. One shower seemed to not have hot water but we eventually discovered that the hot and cold water handles were installed backwards. Would definitely return!
