La Comuna de Dos Amates - Cabaña

ElizabethRating, 5 stars5 days ago
La Comuna is a beautiful and very magical place in the jungle. Surrounded by rivers, waterfalls, lakes and the sea in the distance, it is the perfect place for those of us who love nature and bodies of water. Susana always cared for us with a lot of attention, kindness and even friendship and familiarity. We felt so comfortable at all times. I will definitely be back because there is so much more nature to discover beautiful and impressive all over Catemaco and the region. 10/10

I enjoyed my stay and James was helpful with lending me things and providing translations. I rented a scooter for 3 days 400 pesos per day to make it easy to get to the main part of town

Beachfront tree cabin with deck pool

JenniferRating, 5 stars3 months ago
From the moment we stepped into the treehouse we knew we were in for a lifetime memorable experience. The housing was a comfortable blend of amenities and nature. As to be expected, there were little critters around but with the mosquito netting we were always comfortable. Being steps away from the beach was unbelievable. Pablo helped with every step of the way on this excursion. He helped arrange transportation and advised about eating locations. We ate several times at the Bahia De La Luna hotel restaurant which allowed us to pay by credit card. The other two beach restaurants you have to be prepared to pay in pesos. It was wonderful to be able to spend some time in the waves and then relax in the pool. A word of caution that the beach is better suited for good swimmers> The waves were very strong and could easily pull you under. Because the restroom is only accessible through the master bedroom, I wouldn’t recommend this location for more than a couple. We were also very lucky that

New Amazing room in a Tree house at a superb bay!

EssyRating, 5 stars5 months ago
This was exactly the type of beach we were looking for. Private enough to avoid the big crowds with only a couple of beachfront palapas/reataurants. Clear, Pacific green, emerald waters, hermit crabs and an ice cold Mexican beer. Pablo’s Tree room is something out of a dreamy magazine. Morning sun rays gently pierce through the mosquito net as you listen to the waves crash and birds sing. You will most definitely leave feeling more in tune with nature and its graceful, lively little friends. Delightful stay.

A Perfect Getaway in the Woods This cabin is a true gem! Nestled in a serene forest, it offered us the perfect escape from the hustle and bustle of daily life. We loved waking up to the sound of birds and spending cozy evenings by the fireplace. The cabin was impeccably clean and exactly as described online, if not better. The hosts were incredibly kind and reliable, ensuring we felt welcome and well taken care of throughout our stay. If you’re looking for peace, comfort, and nature, this is the place to be. We can’t wait to come back!

Tree house at a superb virgin bay with starlink

SebastianRating, 5 stars9 months ago
Amazing place! The first time I go but I'm sure it won't be the last. Excellent location, to none of all the places worth visiting, such as mazunte, Zipolite or San Agustinillo. Balbeane is a tipazo, from the first moment to the end he behaved super well with us, he gave us all the necessary information and was always on the lookout. The truth is an amazing place, romantic, private and, the best, close to a private beach that you only share with a hotelito in the background with a delicious breakfast. I was able to bring my dogs, which obviously deserves a special mention. We had a great time, thank you so much and see you soon!!

I would always come back to Mario and Margarito's. They are friendly guys who have a beautiful spot on the beach. It's the perfect place to get away from it all.

The Casa Del Arbol

EvanRating, 5 stars12 months ago
Wow, what a magical tree house wonderland! Truly a one-of-a-kind accommodation built into a giant, beautiful tree, surrounded by plants and birds and an easy walk to la Punta and the beach and to the main road. David & Irais were super welcoming, offering suggestions, inviting us on a hike, even gave us a ride to the airport. The neighborhood can be a bit noisy at night with dogs and firecrackers, so light sleepers might wanna bring earplugs. But otherwise, it was more than we could have hoped for.

MezCali-Cabin among the trees-Blue Monday-AC

AmélieRating, 5 stars1 week ago
This place is an absolute gem! Its very private, in the jungle, and walking distance to Mazunte main touristic road. I'm giving this place a 10/10. The king size bed was very comfortable, the AC worked well. Such a peaceful romantic place. I would go back in a heartbeat. Very fairly priced to for what you get. I didn't see the host, it was self check-in, but he gave us clear instructions and recommendations on places to stay. I think this was one of my best Airbnb experience.

"Cabin in the Forest of San Jose del Pacifico 3".

JosephRating, 5 stars4 days ago
Lauro's place is a wonderful respite in a busy world. The atmosphere he created is very warm and cozy. The bed was more comfortable than staying in a Hilton. ( honestly it was one of the most comfortable beds I have slept in, I. a long time) We were greeted by Lauro's manager, who welcomed us as was always around when needing something. There are fantastic hikes to do literally right outside your door. ( definitely download "All trails" as it's a big forest out there ) The pizza place down the street was delicious and very close ( 3 minute walk ), if you don't feel like heading into town. We drove our Nissan March in and out with no problem, although it was the dry season. Public transportation is very accesible and economical for those arriving without a car. Have a great stay and enjoy!
