Monthly Rentals in Northern Norway

We spent a week in this beautiful place in a quiet neighborhood and felt very comfortable. The place matches the description and photos. We also remember the good accessibility and quick feedback/ help from Mu and her husband. We can recommend the place in good conscience!

An unforgettable experience! Elin’s cabins are picturesque, sitting on the shores of a fjord, overlooked by only the mountains behind — and at night by the northern lights. It really made our holiday special. Elin answered our queries without hesitation and very kindly. We even had an issue with our rental car and she rang them to see if she could help. Great host! Tips and things to know: - Be prepared for a more traditional type of living. There is a proper bio toilet for solids, and a smaller toilet for liquids. - There is a portable shower in the second cabin — you can used heated up water from the kettle. - There is no running water, but a nearby creek/stream with crystal clear drinking water. - The cabin gets lovely and warm with 2 electric radiators and the wood burning stove. - It is very well equipped with everything you need. Living arrangements: 2 separate cabins. Main cabin has the living area and kitchen. Second cabin has another bedroom, fridge and toilet.

Kundan's house has an indescribably great location right on the waterfront. The view from the conservatory is awesome. The equipment of the house is perfect. There is everything you need for a cozy living. The kitchen is fully equipped. The Swedish oven brings the cozy warmth. From the house, you can take many great excursions into the magnificent nature of the island. The communication with Kundan was very good and the reception and briefing perfect.

This place was amazing!! You get an entire apartment for yourself, including livingroom, bedroom, kitchen, bathroom and front door hallway. You even have your own front door. This is wonderful. The hosts understand the flight schedules and welcomed me in late at night, which i was very grateful for. They immediately understood that i needed to get some groceries the next day (24 dec) so they told me where the supermarket was and had even looked up the opening hours. Very thoughtful and understanding. Due to a change in plans i was traveling alone and they invited me into their home for Christmas dinner. What an amazing kindness. The area is beautiful and very close to a larger town. The house is a few steps away from the water and deer and moose visit the garden and look through the window. :D I would absolutely recommend this place as a great alternative to the more busy, expensive and touristic Tromso.
