Cozy Summerhouse by the River

Characteristic Summerhouse with a big private backyard that has a terrace, BBQ, a hammock and of course a ping-pong table with BIKES & FISHING ROD included in the rent. Located only a couple of minutes walk from a small sandy beach in the pristine Kemijoki, the biggest river of Finland. A perfect relaxation base where you can let the Midnight Sun sink in. I have had the house for rent during winter for many seasons, you can find & check the reviews on my profile (one with igloo as cover)!

Kaunis talo järvimaisemalla 205 m2 ja iso terassi. Talo on valmistunut 2012. Talosta on hyvä näkymä auringonlaskujen katsomista varten ja revontuliakin on mahdollista nähdä tiettyinä aikoina. Nice cottage (entire house) by the river near city

Fully equipped home in Lapland with 2 bedrooms, kitchen and living room, large terrace and renovated bathroom. Extra house with sauna and guest room (in the summer time). Close to Kemi city with access to all services. Please note, while there are no bus services in the area, having a car or taxi will ensure seamless travel to explore the surrounding beauty.

Fabulous place for lovers of calm and nature, nestled on the edge of the fjord, close to several interesting sites (site for the northern lights, village pub/restaurant within walking distance,...) Typical Norwegian house with splendid views of the fjord from the kitchen/dining room and mountain views from the living room. Quiet house ideal for relaxing, not shared with owners or other tenants, of extreme cleanliness, quality bedding and the northern lights visible from the terrace!!!! An excellent place from which we no longer want to leave! And finally, a very kind host.

We adored Calum's house. As soon as we walked in, we felt at home. Calum provides everything you need and more for a stay in Lofoten. The house is well made, thoughtfully designed, and very comfortable. Hands down, our favorite aspect of the house was the hammock for lounging! The beds are very comfortable and we got great sleep. We also loved watching the birds at the feeders out of the kitchen window. The neighborhood was quiet and we took nice walks around and out to the jetty by the Norwegian Sea. Additionally we took a snowshoe with Paul from Polar Folk, a friend of Calum's, and we had an incredible time with our 8 year old. Thanks again for an unforgettable stay at your home. As our daughter said, it was worth taking three planes to get there!

Beautiful home with amazing view. The kitchen had everything you need to prepare food. The basement bathroom was awesome and we enjoyed the bathtub. However be very careful of the slope going up to the house during winter, if there is ice and snow it may be tricky to drive up.

The accommodation is very well equipped and we immediately felt "at home". Beautiful sea and neighboring hut views. Close to all local activities. Thanks!

The place is beautiful and quiet, directly on the sea. The house is very well heated, clean and cozy. The quality of the communication was great. The responses arrived within minutes. I particularly appreciated it. Trine sent me a message to let me know that there were northern lights so I didn't miss them. Finally, to top it off, the sauna just down the road and by the water was magical. Highly recommend this sweet spot.
