Signe's home was quiet and beautiful. I wanted a place near nature where I could just get up and not have to do anything. I was a solo traveler who did not have a car and this was perfect for me. If you plan on doing activities, I suggest staying closer to town for those days or simply renting a car, because the bus only runs about 3 or 4x per day. Signe was extremely responsive, although I felt like I was bothering her with all of my questions. Every morning I would wake up and just stare at the amazing view. If you are lucky then you can see the auroras right outside. Signe has a beautiful soul, to go along with her home. You get your own space in the fridge to store food and you can cook as much as you want. Please note that if you come by bus, it does not run on the weekends. Signe let me know all of this and the great thing is the town is so small, it picks you up and drops you off right out front. If you are looking to reset/recharge and wake up to a postcard view, stay here.

Cosy apartment at FURU Hostel in Lofoten

We stayed in a private apartment at the hostel. We arrived late after dark and check-in instructions were clear. The apartment was clean and had the basics - clean beds, warm, very basic cooking supplies. It is an older space (bathroom and kitchen fixtures are outdated, but work fine), that has been spruced up with paint and some new light fixtures, but it worked as a short stay. The best part was the breakfast at the cafe! (Not included in the price.) It was delicious and had an amazing variety - highly recommend!

Def Recommended. The place is on the 3rd floor and has views of the fjellheisen one side from the window and the balcony on the opposite. So if you are lucky enough you can witness northern lights from the apartment. Equipped with all amenities and surrounded with many restaurants. Supermarket like Xtra and Eurospar is just within 200meters. Jesper was kind enough to give us an early checkin. The views are spectacular from the apartment. Especially during snowfall. The snow gets accumulated in the balcony which is a treat for eyes. Cozy warm place. 5 stars.

What to say so much everything was perfect!! We felt even better there than at home!! Beautiful quiet and peaceful place! Warm welcome, excellent breakfasts and meals with the possibility of gluten-free for my coeliac partner! Easy and accessible transportation, top recommendations for activities! Bonus for very good pastries/coffee/chocolate accessible throughout the day and evening; convenient when looking for auroras, which we were lucky enough to see from the frozen lake! Simply a little piece of snowy paradise that we are not about to forget!! Thanks again to Janne and her team!!

Very nice place! Friendly and peaceful with great common areas to relax in. They had blankets and games and puzzles for the porch area. Just note that you are a little out of town so if you don’t have a car you’ll need to walk 20 minutes for food. It’s a beautiful walk though!

Had a short work trip at peak tourist season in Rovaniemi. Tho the hostel was full of tourists everyone was very respectful and nice. Didn't even need to use earplugs sleeping in a room full of strangers which was a positive surprise for me. Felt very comfortable during my stay and great location in the city centre. The host was super friendly. I would come again. :)

The place was great, it met expectations. Enjoyed the potty for small children, also the baby seats in the dining room. There was also a crib in the listing, but we had ours. Very friendly people at the front desk, great breakfast and a nice environment. We'll be sure to stay here again when we come back.

Really great house, the kitchen is allowed to use and it’s big. The living room is cozy at night. We have the bedroom with the private bathroom on the first floor, and it just takes us 2min walking to the nearest bus stop (bus 40). The only pity thing is the nearest supermarket is a little bit far, but it’s acceptable cuz we can still walk there like 20min and enjoy the view and snow outside( I come from the place with little snow🥺)
