We were 4 people and the place was very nice and beautiful. We checked in late evening but Paul welcomed us warmly and showed the place.He was very nice! My kids liked the outdoor toys which gave us some time to ourselves. The communication was great. Nice, clean and kids room was cute! We also enjoyed bbq and the stay.Thank you Paul.

If we could give Fiona and “The Log Cabin 10 stars out of 5 we definitely would! She was always responsive and proactive and took care of every detail which, made us feel really comfortable. The milk in the fridge, tea and coffee as well as the shortbread was such a nice treat! We identified a really small problem close to the end of our 5 day stay and Fiona communicated immediately and dealt with it straight away. We arrived after dark and Fiona’s directions helped immensely and we found the location without any problem. Still, I would recommend getting there while it is light to make things just a wee bit easier. Fantastic location but is for those with access to a vehicle. We would DEFINITELY stay again!

Had a lovely stay at Karen’s Clevedon Cabin. Well situated at the end of a quiet private road, perfect for a quiet weekend. Cottage was fully equipped with all the amenities, including a toothbrush kit and breakfast essentials. Highly recommend.

I was very happy to return to the Shed for a second stay and it was as comfortable and spacious as I remembered. I was able to feel immediately relaxed and at home. Steve has made some thoughtful improvements including more fridge/freezer space in the kitchen. On this visit I was able to explore the fabulous outdoor space with my dog in the beautiful spring sunshine. This is a magical fairytale setting and I hope to have a reason to return again soon.

We had a lovely 3 night stay with our retriever. The cabin is beautiful, peaceful and very private with an amazing view from the balcony to sit outside and watch the sunsets. The hosts supply everything you'd need, even bits for your dog! They allow dogs to have freedom in the open fields in front of your cabin, which ours absolutely loved to play with his ball. So much to do nearby but we found ourselves wanting to spend more time at the cabin than go out as we adored it so much. Their cabin is the perfect place for a relaxing getaway. We couldn't recommend it more and hope to return in the future.

Brilliant stay. Easy check-in. Communicating with Nick was great. He was easy going and happy to give tips on where to hike. The cabin was lovely, warm and cosy. Brought an outdoor camping stove which was great for making coffee. Would definitely come again.

Our stay at Yew Lodge was absolutely lovely. The Lodge was spotlessly clean, with a modern design that still managed to feel warm and cosy. From the soft lighting to the amazing outside area, every detail made it feel like a home away from home. The setting was peaceful, and the overall vibe was incredibly relaxing. We will definitely be returning!

Paul greeted us on arrival, super friendly and welcoming. The lodge was cosy, clean, comfortable and felt homely. Beds super comfy, lots of towels provided and some refreshments in the fridge. We thought the hosts really thought about the guest experience. There are 3 lodges in a field, it’s quiet, peaceful and at night we bbq and watched the sun go down, extremely relaxing. We walked to the Thatchers Cider Tour (10 mins) so the lodge was ideally located & I would recommend eating at The Railway Inn or just having drinks. Would definitely return when visiting Somerset.

Beautiful stay, we booked last minute to stay for a Mother’s Day weekend get away. Beautiful place for our dog to walk, views was fantastic, lovely touches with baby toys and books as we took our 8 month old baby. Boy. Peaceful setting

We had an absolutely awesome time here! The cabin has everything you would need and more. The views and surrounding countryside are outstanding, with an open space for our well behaved dog to run around it was absolutely bliss! The hot weather made the experience even better and if the dog got too hot, a short walk down to the end of the field was the river Yeo so Harley could have a quick dunk and cool off. I recommend this to any couple (especially with dogs!) to stay here.
