Tent vacation rentals in North Devon District

The area and surroundings around the tents was beautiful and there was lots nearby to visit. The bathrooms and toilets were really clean and the host Faith was really helpful and friendly as were all the staff. The bar was really interesting to visit on the weekend. We had a lovely stay, thank you

Alison and everyone there were great. Well stocked shop, clean and tidy site and Bluebell Bell Tent was perfect with electric hookup and a great little makeshift kitchen. Don’t forget the fire pit!! Great area for kids to play football and mess around and a barn with some fun stuff for all. Thanks gang, we will be back!!!!

Wow! What an amazing place you guys have. Our first get-away with our little boy (8 mos) as we went to an Eden Session and decided to make a weekend of it. We arrived on Friday and our hosts were welcoming, friendly and so helpful. We settled into our beautifully clean and spacious bell tent ‘Poppy’ before heading out to the Eden Project, approximately 10 mins drive. The loos and showers were clean and tidy, the little shop on site was well stocked and our little boy loved looking at the pigs and wondering down to the pond at the bottom of the meadow. The views are beautiful!! And if we had stayed longer we would have certainly wondered around the local area a little bit more as Ali recommended some nice local walks. On Sat evening a fab little food and drink van arrived on site and we enjoyed watching the sun set with a delicious cocktail. I can’t say enough about this place and we are already looking at when we can return! Family friendly, great location, wonderful hosts!

We really enjoyed our stay at the Reforge. Beautiful surroundings, plenty of contact with nature, the coolest and most unique bar and friendly staff. The perfect heaven on earth.

Absolutely fab weekend away! This place is such a unique experience and has great facilities, including comfy beds and sofas, pots and pans, games, table tennis, and cool boxes which makes a camping trip super easy for everyone. We will definitely be returning next year!

Linda and Gary are fabulous hosts at this beautiful and peaceful glamping site. From booking onwards Linda sent us lots of really useful information on what to pack and what to expect - really handy when packing for three kids! When we arrived Linda and Gary were there to greet us and show us around. The honesty shop set up is brilliant! The tents themselves are well equipped and nicely kitted out - the views are stunning. We loved the pizza night. Everything is very well organised and really thoughtfully done. The kids loved feeding the farm animals with Gary too. The other campers were also really friendly and there was a great atmosphere. Would love to visit again.

I came here with my partner and nine-year-old son and we had a wonderful stay. Philip is such a welcoming and responsive host - I had a few questions prior to our stay, and while we were at the site, and each time he responded along most immediately. The tent itself is very comfortable and spacious with everything you need for a luxury camping experience. The outdoor kitchen was fantastic - it meant we could cook our own meals without forking out for restaurants, and it was so nice to have a proper camping experience. Showers toilet facilities are immaculate, and there is a lovely kitchen area for cleaning up and storing food. The site itself was very quiet and peaceful - I enjoyed reading my book on the swing seat and taking a rest in the hammock, while my son enjoyed roaming around and playing with his football in the grounds. Philip was always around if we needed anything, and there is a fab little honesty shop too! Wonderful experience :)

Absolutely beautiful place and location. The hot tub was amazing to be in and looking out on to the surroundings. The bell tent was spacious and clean and the bed was so comfortable! 100% would recommend and look forward to a return trip

Loved our stay here. Secluded and proper escape from life. Every detail is covered and the tent was nice and cosy even on a fully wet night. Chris offered to check in early which was lovely. We even loved the loo which was quirky and cool. Fab end to the best weekend. Thanks Chris.

This was our first ever camping experience and Melanie made sure it went smoothly and was always ready to give us tips for the local area. Her farm was hidden away in a lovely private spot (the little roads took a bit of getting used to but once found the farm was then easy to locate). Our kids loved the animal feeding, farm cats and the tree swing outside of our tent :) The bell tent was very comfortable and filled with all the bits we needed. We had a great bbq, fire pit and warm shower each day. A great place glamping experience (especially for first time campers)

Couldn’t recommend this more (although I’d rather no one else discovers this gem so it doesn’t get booked up!) I attended a training day here and knew I had to come back when I saw the view from the camping area- little did I know I’d spend most of my weekend hiding in the woodland, but it was even better than I remembered. So much fun had by all, thank you.

We had a fantastic stay at the meadow. It was just as the photos show. My husband and I along with our 4 year old stayed and it was our first time glamping. The bed was so comfortable, king size for us and a single for our son. Everything you need is there, kitchen with a fridge, kettle, microwave. All cutlery, cups and plates etc. the bathroom is fantastic and so great to have an en-suite with shower and toilet attached to the tent. Fire pit and bench outside and so much space around for little man to play. Our hosts were so helpful and left us some yummy biscuits, fresh butter, bread and milk for when we arrived too. We couldn’t recommend this place enough and hope to return again in the future. Definitely a great experience and a perfectly comfortable way to give glamping a try. Had such a lovely birthday weekend celebration here at Tatalon! Was a nice getaway and we were kept entertained with the outdoor games, hot tub, bbq and TV! Also got a bottle of bubbly to start our stay in the perfect way. I stayed in October and yet we were still warm and cosy inside with plenty of blankets. Jo was incredibly responsive, friendly and helpful. I recommend this to anyone and will definitely come back here!

Stopped in for a night to do some cycling in the area. Really nice spot with lovely facilities. The accommodation was excellent and a tranquil site.

We had a brilliant stay in Heathers safari tent. It was perfect for what we wanted, a lovely location to set up camp for a few nights with the kids and explore the area. Brilliant value, comfortable and spacious. Beautifully quiet area. Heather was friendly, welcoming and accommodating. The treats on arrival were a lovely touch. Thank you for having us. 100% recommend. We will be back one day!

We had the best time. very relaxing, beautiful surroundings and so quiet. The tent is just perfect, it's so cozy and pretty. The den bed was the highlight for my teenage daughter. Margaret and Colin are so inviting, friendly and welcoming. Margaret made a huge point of ensuring I had her mobile number as I was alone with my 2 children whilst away, Saying I could ring day or night if I needed them. A very comforting feeling. I will definitely be returning. Thank you so much Margaret and Colin.

We had an amazing stay, Nancy was wonderful and very helpful. There was plenty of space both in and out the tents. Would highly recommend if you’re looking for a peaceful retreat.

We enjoyed a peaceful and relaxing stay in the spacious safari tent. Everything you need for an off grid cosy stay. Log fire, cosy beds and hot shower. All essentials included including tea towels, washing up liquid etc as well as tea and coffee. Jim and Emma are fabulous, attentive hosts and we loved our stay. Close to all the beaches we managed 5 in one day! We really hope to return.

I'm honestly so happy following a family weekend at Flays Farm. Such beautiful surroundings (gorgeous sunrise), a lovely lodge/tent and Nicola was just fantastic. Some lovely touches with the hot tub, cupcakes, milk in the fridge, games, log burner and underfloor heating. Our two dogs had a blast and it was so nice that they weren't restricted, it is so dog friendly. Our girls really enjoyed going with Nicola to feed the animals and learning all about them, she was so kind to take the time out of her day to do this. We were also able to request a later check out so we could enjoy some of mother's day there. I could rave about Nicola, her family and the farm all day long. Nicola's daughter even turned up with some horses and said our girls could say hello. Such a wonderful break, we will be back.
