We really enjoyed our stay at the Retreat. Lovely place, squeaky clean and private. We used it as a base for exploring Cornwall which worked really well. Would definitely recommend.

The kids and I had the best time! Having the sea and beach on our doorstep was incredible. Fossil hunting, fishing, walks, amusements, great food and a very cute little cabin to call our home for 3 days. Waking up and seeing the sea every morning was the icing on the cake. Thank you Neil & Sarah for letting us enjoy some of the magic. We very much hope to be back soon.

We had a fantastic time staying at James and Emma’s. Whilst the location is tucked away off the normal path, their clear instructions made it easy to find. Their restaurant recommendations were also great and meant we found some real gems that we wouldn’t have otherwise known about. We would love to stay again if we were ever back in the area.

A wonderful stay! Brook Lodge is set in a beautiful, peaceful woodland location with a pretty garden. Clear directions and instructions on how to find the lodge etc. Location was perfect for us and our dog. The lodge is spacious and cosy with everything you need for your stay. It was absolutely spotlessly clean. The biscuits and fresh milk were a nice touch. Alison was a super host - quick responses to messages, popped by to check all was ok after arrival and was so friendly. We loved our stay and would definitely like to return! Thank you!

The lodge exceeded our expectations. There were so many small touches to make the place feel like home. I would recommend staying to everyone. The lodge was spotlessly clean and toasty warm. We especially loved the hot tub and the outside space was safely enclosed for our dog to explore. We chilled every morning drinking coffee on the veranda watching the scenery change of the exceptional views.

Myself and my daughter decided last minute to spend New Years Eve away for a change of scenery and a bit of a girls night in! The accommodation was as described, easy to find with clear instructions on how tobget in. We were made to feel that the hosts were on hand should we need anything or have questions, but we had everything we needed for a lovely break away. We enjoyed using the woodland path to the rear to get out for a walk before settling on for the evening. Many thanks 😊

First rate, well furnished accommodation, ideal location for beach and town. The hosts went an extra mile to make our stay comfortable.

The place is a nice and private shack. It is very comfortable and the kitchenette is very handy. Really recommended to walk around town, also close to a bus station.

What a fantastic gem the Potting Shed was. We enjoyed our stay from start to finish. A wonderful setting and had everthing we needed. Tamzin was on hand for any questions we had and we met her and her lovely friendly dogs. The bed was very comfy and the whole place was nice and warm. A super place to relax in and that is what we did! Thank you Tamzin.

Just the space I needed whilst sorting and commuting for work. Cozy, clean and accessable. Also, place to park my car which is difficult anywhere these days! Nice homely touches to the property, clean and fresh.

One of, if not the best Air bnb we have had to date. Everything was perfect and every little detail was thought about. Location was great, interior was lovely and homely and furniture was 5/5 comfort! Lovely hosts, made you feel welcome immediately. Would recommend to anyone and everyone.

we went for our valentines weekend here as we’ve wanted to visit for a while, the hosts were absolutely lovely and very accommodating to us, the place is within walking distance of both the town and Charleston, as well as a short drive from eden project which we went to see and very much enjoyed, all in all a lovely place with equally as lovely hosts

Little Dene was a perfect space for our weekend away. Close to many lovely seaside towns, it is well situated. The accommodation was clean, cosy, peaceful and private. Jane gave us really helpful directions on how to get there and what to avoid prior to our arrival. We had a very comfortable stay. Would absolutely book again.

Liz was a wonderful host: we checked ourselves in (there’s a keybox but the key had been left in the door for us) and Liz knocked on the door to say hi! She was so lovely and made us feel right at home. We were so impressed with the space: it is spacious and open, very clean and has everything we needed (including a couple of games to keep us entertained). The bed is really comfy, and it was perfect to go to sleep/wake up to the skylight window above us. Easy vicinity to get to all the sights we wanted to see by car. The instructions were helpful and clear so that we knew exactly what to expect when we arrived and we got exactly what we wanted. Would highly recommend!

i do overall recommend the stay, especially for the price. I would be wary though about parking, as I followed instructions in regards to there being plenty of street parking but my car was targeted and keyed for no apparent reason. The owner was as helpful as she could have been but unfortunately I was outside of the camera vision.

Stylish, practical and thoughtfully designed, the annexe is well equipped, comfortable and warm. We even saw stars from the comfort of bed. The location is an absolute joy - stone viaduct soaring above, sound of the river across the drive. As others noted the trains pass surprisingly quietly, we didn't notice them at all inside.

Spent a lovely few days here, lovely hosts. Very cosy getaway, clean well equipped and great water pressure/heating. Couldnt ask for anything more. Great for walks to the Tor and Chalice well and an easy walk to town. Will be back again.

I can't recommend Claudia as a host enough! Responsive, kind, considerate and unintrusive, she made our visit easy and comfortable. We'd come down at last minute notice for a family emergency and booked to stay at Claudia's place 8 hours before we arrived - with another host this might have been (understandably) difficult to organise, but we arrived to a spotless and beautiful home. Thank you so much for everything!

Had a fantastic stay at Michael & Caroline's place. The barn was cozy, peaceful, comfortable and spotlessly clean. Michael and Caroline were really accommodating, leaving us personalised notes about the barn and local area, and they were responsive to messages. We spent most of our stay enjoying relaxing at the barn, and really appreciated the extra little touches - lovely hand soap in the bathroom, delicious homemade raspberry jam, and fresh eggs left for us. My only regret is that we didn't stay longer! Would definitely stay here again and recommend it to anyone looking for a peaceful get away.

We had a fantastic time at the Coach House, a beautifully designed space. Lyndsey has great taste in the furnishings, beautiful flooring and the bathroom was lovely and clean with a great shower! Lyndsey was really helpful and answered any queries immediately, great to know she was close by if we needed anything but felt we were left alone to enjoy the space too. I would definitely recommend and would love to stay again if we are back in the area. Thank you Lyndsey!
