Loft vacation rentals in North Carolina

We had a wonderful time and Steve & Donna are such great hosts - not to mention their two friendly dogs! Quiet and private space with porch that overlooks beautiful forest. If anything, the space is larger than it appears in the photos and there's plenty of room to spread out to read, watch TV, play your guitar or whatever else. Close to great forest walking trails and Durham/Chapel Hill/Hillsborough are 15 minutes away for restaurants and shopping. Seniors with Silver Sneakers can use the Orange County Sportsplex which has exercise machines, gym, pool, pickleball and exercise programs. Can't say enough about the space and hosts - we'd definitely stay here again if we're to spend time in the area!

We loved our stay! It more than suited our needs. A hotel may have been a little cheaper, but we thought it was worth the extra spending on the accomodations, space and privacy this place offers. My only critique was the beds are incredibly firm, so if you are like me and dont like firm beds just be prepared in bringing something to accomodate that. The owner may have had mattress pads, but I just assumed the extra linens were covers and sheets. Overall, we felt right at home and will definitely be booking here again for future trip to Wake Fo!

Having been a 24hr. last minute guest I was not expecting to much. However, Rick was all one would have expected from a host. Amiable, responsive & proactive with a loft as described. If the need arises, I would gladly choose to stay here again. Alexander

A time that was once lived in obligation has turned into the happily ever after fairy tale. I moved to Asheville almost a year ago to survive. And my best friend came to visit me in my new habitat. We came across this enchanted home stay and were able to fulfill our mission of confidence building. Thank you for the opportunity to document our true selves in your amazing loft! This was our second stay and we will definitely come back. Excellent location - very walkable to all of downtown Hendersonville. Parking in the back is a bonus. House was very clean and well maintained. Beds are comfortable. Lee was very responsive to any questions. Would highly recommend!

This was our first stay in Charlotte, and we will definitely come again! Ryan’s location was perfectly settled right out of city center. The home was as much fun as Charlotte itself! So clean and upscale. Everything you could ever ask for. And check out was an absolute breeze. I loved that we didn’t have to spend our last few hours settling with the apartment. We got extra hours to enjoy the location. Would absolutely stay here again!

Have had an amazing stay at John’s place. John has been a great host. The place is perfect, it’s very comfortable and has everything that you could need for your stay. The property is right on Mountain Island lake, a beautiful place to relax. Latta Nature reserve is right down the road and has 13 miles of hiking trails and also access to the lake. John has a beautiful pup named Maggie that me and my pup befriended, Big T has made a friend for life. If you want to stay in a quiet and beautiful area John’s place is all you would ever need and want. Thank you John for my wonderful stay.

We had a great time at Eugene’s place! Check in was easy breeze with clear instructions. The location is awesome and we were able to walk to all the restaurants we wanted to visit and the concert! We will definitely be back!

Loved the industrial, yet modern feel of the loft! I felt right at home. It didn’t take me too long to find the parking area. I settled right in — the complimentary bottle of wine was the perfect touch for a quick weekend getaway. I wish I could’ve utilized the private balcony, but the pollen was just everywhere. Lots of shops/restaurants that were a quick walk or short drive away. The train did come by once or twice but I wasn’t bothered by it at all. Will definitely consider staying here again when I’m visiting Durham. Thank you for hosting, Chris & Shannon!

We love Maggie Valley and this location was perfect! It was so much fun to step out of the apartment and right into the cutest gift shops, candy/ice cream store, coffee shop, Italian restaurant, etc. We were also just minutes from several of our favorite places in Maggie. The apartment was beautiful and very clean (seems to have been recently remodeled and everything is fairly new inside.) We loved the cozy bed and the spacious shower. We definitely hope to be back again! PS There are steep stairs leading to the apartment. This was not a problem for us, but would be something to consider if you have mobility challenges.

Nina’s place was absolutely wonderful, very clean and beautiful decorated. Felt just like home. Highly recommend this place if you are staying in Goldsboro!

Frank and Elle were exceptional hosts—kind, thoughtful, and truly welcoming. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay at their beautiful home, which was filled with stunning art and offered breathtaking views. Paula's place was EXACTLY what we were looking for. the apartment/loft is awesome. located in the beautiful downtown area, (the perfect area to stay). we were originally going to rent a car, but we used Uber the entire week and spent less than $200 Paula always responded to our messages and gave great recommendations. I don't what else I can, it was simply awesome. Loved it!!

The place was just as described. Full kitchen with refrigerator microwave and stove in the hottest shower in town. Within walking distance to shopping and restaurants . I highly recommend.

Working at the John C. Campbell Folk School, I have a need to stay nearby on occasion. Less than 10 minutes from campus, but situated in a private grove of trees, this property offers the perfect escape. The property is comfortable, exceptionally clean and easy to access. I highly recommend to potential students and instructors for its close proximity to the Folk School. I look forward to returning.
