Small hotel near South Mountain State Park, perfect for hikers, explorers, and anyone seeking a peaceful nature retreat. The pool isn’t open yet, and the exterior is being organized, but if you don’t mind that, this is a quiet, secluded, and affordable getaway. Beaufort Harbour Suites is a 16 room hotel, 2 floors, with free parking and within walking distance to downtown Beaufort. We are Pet Friendly UPON REQUEST. It is a $30 fee a night plus tax. Check in is at our Scuba diving shop, Discovery Diving, located just past the hotel itself. We are open from 8 am-9 pm. Beautiful room, gorgeous pool area with comfortable loungers. If you want to get away from it all—literally—this is the place for you. Also if you love golf, this place is perfect. Restaurant by the pool was very nice—we loved our chill day of ordering food and drinks and just lounging by the pool. If you want to eat out and experience the area, choose elsewhere. This place is truly off the beaten path—the closest restaurant other than the one on site is 30+ minutes away. However, we wanted to be away from it all and this place was perfection.

We stayed with Pam and John for one night on our road trip. We could've stayed longer! Our room was cozy and quiet. We enjoyed a delicious breakfast and took a lovely walk on the beach. Pam and John were perfect hosts. We felt at home straight away. Hope to come back one day !

Dee! 1st, too all that come to Dry Dock be prepared for a amazing stay! 12/10 experience. My Fiancee is in nursing school and this is her only break for the entire year. Just wanted to get her away and enjoy her time stress free. Dry Dock did just that! I parked my truck for 90% of our stay only drove it to go into town( I have family in Wilmington). Everything is in walking distance. Beach, bars, restaurants, boardwalk you name it! Thank you so much Dee, we have this place saved for future vacations!!!! You rock!

Do keep the comments in mind. We came in with the expectations that the breakfast would be small and the floors would be a little dirty at arrival, but knowing this ahead of time allowed for us to have an amazing time. Greg was so friendly and we had an excellent time taking the kayaks out on the sound and being amongst the beautiful nature. I would highly recommend.

We greatly enjoyed our stay at this charming inn. It felt calm and peaceful and like the labor of love that I think it is. We especially enjoyed all the antique furniture and fixtures which were beautiful. And I also appreciated that, although of course one wanted to be careful of all the beautiful things, it all still felt very welcoming and comfortable to live in. A lovely, special place.

We visited the Beaufort Hotel for breakfast last year. Loved sitting by the water and the food was fantastic! So we were excited to be back and staying the weekend at BH. The grounds are beautiful! Our room was perfect, clean and looked just like the pictures. 1st floor pet friendly room that had sliding doors to outside which made it easy to take the dog out. Our view from the room wasn’t great, it was big gray boxes. However, this wouldn’t keep us from renting again as the gorgeous view of the water was steps away. We will definitely be back.
