Farmstay vacation rentals in North Carolina

First, Doug and Marcia are lovely folks - warm and helpful. The views of their farm, the animals, and the mountains from the porch are terrific. The rooms are very clean and they make it extra nice with snacks and brochures with information about the area. We will be back!

Had a very nice getaway at the Maybell house! The property was private, peaceful and very clean. The house is not far from shops and restaurants. Would definitely come back!

Rich and Trisha’s guest house was an absolute treat! It was the perfect peaceful getaway. While I was in town for a funeral, their beautiful property made everything so much more comforting and calming to me and my two pups. The beds were cozy and clean, the views were stunning, and the treats they left on arrival were so appreciated! Their pup ginger is also such a sweetie. Couldn’t recommend this place more!

We have stayed in dozens of airbnbs over the years - this one one of the best we were ever in! Great, private spot close to Asheboro for a great price. Great airbnb host!

The hosts were very very responsive. Very clean Cabins too. Even though pets are allowed, there was no sign of pets inside, very well cleaned. We had a very small concern, and they were right there the second I messaged them! Very very helpful! We will definitely start booking our family reunion June stays here from now on!

We had a wonderful stay at the barn quilt farmhouse. Everything was clean and welcoming for guests. The view is unbelievable and pictures do not do it justice. We can’t wait to visit again!

I enjoyed my stay immensely! The no TV, no internet, technology free weekend was a great get-away for this workaholic! The screened in porch was my favorite place to lounge around. The mile long path around the pond was pleasant as was the fresh fruit available on Tom’s fruit trees. The birds, butterflies, herons, and rabbits added to the experience I was looking for. There is nothing more relaxing than watching nature in action. Rain or shine the cabin, the screened porch, and the walking path provided a serene get-a-way. It rained each day I was there and sitting on the screened porch watching the storm was fascinating (and I stay dried). The outdoor shower on the screened porch was an amazing experience!! Everyone needs to try one. Wow! The interior of the cabin is truly rustic and made of wood which added to the whole “nature” experience I was looking for. Tom was a wonderful host! I spent some time talking with him. He shared fascinating stories about the cabin and farm!

This place was simple and amazing! Such a gorgeous view - we wanted to sit outside in the rocking chairs all days. Perfect place for a small reunion with children. We would definitely rent again - hosts were super responsive.

We LOVED our time here! Local restaurants, wineries, the land and Lilly (their farm dog). Everything was perfect and so relaxing. My favorite was being in the hot tub under the stars. Beautiful views!! We will certainly be back

DEFINITELY recommend! If we are ever back in Asheville, we will definitely stay here again. Such a cozy place that made us feel so welcomed and at home! They even left us eggs which we thought was such a special touch! 10 out of 10! 🩷

we're an older couple travelling on an east coast vacation: the property was a comfortable, spacious studio in a pastoral setting; well provisioned; private; plenty of parking; expansive/covered patio. recommend you stay here.

This beautiful and cozy home had everything we needed for a comfortable and memorable stay. Our kids absolutely loved the outdoor space and the inside was clean with all the amenities we needed. Doris and Shanna really thought of everything and left little touches that meant a lot- s’mores ingredients and sparklers for the kids, comfortable bedding with extra blankets, family games etc. It’s been our favorite place we’ve stayed at thus far. We felt secluded but it was only a quick drive for food and outdoor adventures. If you want a mountain retreat to refresh your soul, look no further!

My wife and I stayed at the Farmhouse for 5 weeks and it was one of the best places I've stayed. The farmhouse has modern appliances, modern wifi, and great farmhouse charm. The best equipped kitchen and laundry I've seen in an Airbnb. We also absolutely loved the chickens and pigs. You've got to visit the Highlands Butchery restaurant, great food and amazing bourbon selection. Jon and Kristina are the best people. Very welcoming and responsive to anything we needed. I am going to miss the quiet nights, the country side, and the chickens.

Such a lovely farm! I felt so calm and peaceful surrounded by the beautiful trees , nicely manicured grounds, and best of all, the horses. Had a wonderful stay at this beautiful lodge. The outdoor scenery was breathtaking. It was plenty of room for my family & I had zero problems checking in & out. The only issue I had was with the fireplace. I messaged Ashley if it was ok to start a fire & she informed me that the fireplace was out of order. Other than that, everything was perfect.

I enjoyed our stay here as it was nice to have some space but also not far from downtown Asheville

This was our second stay at Vera’s property. We were very comfortable. The kitchen is spacious and equipped for making meals. Our teenager was excited for the waffle maker. A french press, keurig, and automatic drip pot are available for coffee. We enjoyed visiting with the animals and the shuffleboard table. The beds and couches are comfortable. Appreciate the ample towels.

We enjoyed our stay on the farm. It was cold outside, but we were cozy inside. We appreciated that the fridge had a few items (butter) that we forgot to bring, and there was plenty of toilet paper and paper towels. It is also very close to Grayson Highlands State Park. I recommend bringing your groceries in with you, as the closest store is about 30 minutes (which Tina helped us find). Thank you!

We really enjoyed our stay here! Can’t recommend it enough. Heathers house is cozy and welcoming. She was attentive and had answers to all our questions. The outdoor space with amenities like the basketball court, swing and seeing the cows right across was so nice to enjoy with the whole family. We definitely see ourselves coming to visit in the near future!!!

We had an amazing experience here! I messed up our booking and Tina was so flexible in helping me. She was very communicative and so kind. The Farmhouse was absolutely beautiful. Had old charm, but felt modern! The animals were so much fun to take our baby to look at. They had the friendliest little kitten who added a nice touch as well! I would absolutely recommend this Airbnb and Tina as a host. We loved our stay there and if we ever get back through the area plan to book it again.
