Such a beautiful home and a wonderful place for a family weekend retreat to Lake Jackson State Park and participate in the Fonta Flora 50K. The home is so cozy, and enjoyable. Space to gather together and also retreat away to relax and read a book or nap. The deck and dock space are amazing!!! Hosts were so friendly and welcoming. We are already planning our next visit to their home.

We stayed at this house for three days. It was quiet, peaceful, and relaxing. The sound system was very well designed. The house was spacious and bright. We look forward to staying again soon

Great place to stay on the lake! A wonderful little corner of heaven with no neighbors across the lake. Very peaceful. The internet went out for just a few hours and Skylar was very accommodating and proactive in following up once resolved which was greatly appreciated.

I really can't express how perfect this place was for us! I booked it for Thanksgiving to get our scattered family together. The house is amazing with two living room spaces, two dining spaces and plenty of bedrooms for all of us. The lake was beautiful and we enjoyed a little fishing and kayaking. The large dining room made it possible to seat everyone at one table for Thanksgiving dinner. One of the neighbors even saved Thanksgiving by sharing the forgotten spices for pumpkin pie!There is a strong possibility that we will be back next year to do it all again. What a beautiful home! A quick family trip for the Polar Express in Spencer… while a little distance from the excursion, the drive was worth the peaceful lake front home. Our family enjoyed the space for all 11 of us! Host was very responsive and provided useful information regarding check-in and check-out needs.

I would say 4.5 but wanted to round up. Nice people. Pros: Good location if you like Lake Norman. Hot tub was nice for the evening, freshly filled and cleaned. Early check in available. Kids enjoyed ping pong. Kayaks available for use is a plus. I was missing: No laundry facilities-or trash bag for dirty clothes would be nice. Bring your own shampoo! Not great offering of that. Kitchenette no cooking options…microwave and fridge plus a toaster. GFI outlet isn't working properly. Turned on the keurig and tripped a breaker and smelled a burning smell. No coffee mugs, but there is a keurig? Floor by ping pong table is really sticky 🤢. Beds are lumpy, not too comfy. We only stayed one night, so we didn’t bother the owners about anything. I’m sure they would’ve been pleasant about anything we wished we needed.

This was our family’s second visit to Jennifer’s Lake Gaston house for Thanksgiving and we so enjoyed our time there! The house is spacious with a beautiful and quiet location on the lake. It’s so generous of the host to allow use of the kayaks and canoe, which makes this place truly extra special. The dock and other outdoor spaces are also lovely and the area is great for taking long walks. Check-in and check-out were a breeze and Jennifer is an extremely responsive host.

We had a great Thanksgiving holiday weekend here! The lake is so serene and the dock is a great place to enjoy the sunshine. My fiancé loves to fish so this was a great spot for us! The house is a great stay and has everything you need. The hosts are really helpful and communicative, I would highly recommend!

I loved the home, yard and area. I got the much needed rest I really needed. I will be returning. You can’t put a price on peace and quiet. The kitchen had everything and even more. I enjoyed watching old movies. The decorations if they had been for sale, yes I would have bought a few of them. The bed was very, very comfortable. Enjoy your stay. I did.

I very much recommend this beautiful home. Neighbors were not a problem at all and the area is very quiet. It’s always a beautiful view and even more so during the sunset. For anyone looking for a stay to be remembered, choose this beautiful home.

This was an absolute beautiful place. Everything was exactly exactly like the description super clean. Everything you needed was right there highly recommend if you’re in the area to look at this property. I definitely will be staying here again next time I’m down this way. It’s perfect. You’re far enough away from the city but yet close enough to everything you need.

This was our second year for family vacation! The house is very roomy and enough sleeping quarters for our family of 6 adults and an almost 2 year old and a dog!! We loved just getting in the lake water and float all day!! We probably be back next year!! Thanks for a wonderful vacation and family time!!

We had a great time staying here! Ryan provided all the comforts of home and had lots of activities to keep us busy. Would definitely stay again. The beds were comfy and there was plenty of space.

This is an amazing house and Andrew and Stacie were amazing hosts! The house is even better in person. The house is beautiful and clean and the yard and dock are perfect. The hosts were very responsive and always answered our questions within minutes.

On average my wife and I stay at 22-26 airbnb's a year and by far the hosts of this property exceeds them All! They are very accommodating and very prompt to getting back to you when you have questions. Also, this property is what my family calls a "Wow Factor"! The views of the lake and mountains are breath taking and it feels very private, being you cannot see or here any neighbors. My family and I will definitely be returning!

The house was exactly as advertised. Incredibly clean and well stocked. Easy to get in and even smelled great. The kitchen was equipped with EVERY utensil we possibly needed. We were only able to use the paddle boards on our last day due to weather but they were great when we did. Also enjoyed a campfire and saw a million stars on clear nights. Overall we loved the place and felt right at home.

My siblings and I had a wonderful stay at Robin’s Airbnb while visiting North Carolina to celebrate our father’s 81st birthday and honor our late mother’s memory. Robin’s home is spacious, clean, and beautifully appointed—perfect for 6 to 8 guests. We arrived to fresh towels, washcloths, and a fully stocked kitchen, making it easy to settle in. Robin was also very responsive, promptly answering any questions or concerns, which made our stay even smoother. Although GPS led us right to the house, I arrived in the dark and had some trouble with parking, but my sister was able to guide me. The serene lake view and private pier added to the peaceful atmosphere, and my siblings and I agreed we’d definitely stay here again on future visits. Thank you, Robin, for sharing your lovely home with us!

This place was incredible, had a great time with the kids and the hubby , I wish it had more lighting (outside) other than the lights everything was perfect.The view was perfect, I love the watching the sunrise and the house was really clean and had a lot of things that I didn’t think It would have , a variety of coffee, sugar and snacks.I definitely appreciated and would go back again!

The home was very comfortable, clean, and beautifully updated. The large screened in porch allowed us to enjoy a lovely view in a quiet location of the lake. Landscaping and dock area were attractive and provided lots of fun. It was obvious the owners took great pride in providing thoughtful amenities for their guests to have an enjoyable experience. The only thing that didn’t work for us was taking our boat out of the water there on the property. The gravel driveway made it too difficult to get the traction needed to pull trailered boat up steep incline. The alternative was to drive approximately 10 minutes to Buddle Creek Wildlife Boat Launch to trailer boat upon departure. We enjoyed our stay at this High Rock Lake home and hope to rebook next year.

What a fantastic place! Looks just like the pics. Peaceful, serene, and an excellent place to relax with the family. So many great places to hang out both inside and out. If you're looking for a nice quite place with lots to offer...and not too far from shopping and eating...you won't be disappointed. Great and responsive host, too!
