Luca was great. He had a security guard wait for us to arrive. The house was beautiful they took great care of us and was very responsive when we had issues and questions. I would definitely stay here again next time!

Danny was very accommodating for all kind of questions and very quick by responding to messages and requests. The apartment was just great, we had a lot of space and the beach was so close, 5min by walking.

We had a great night on site. The check-in and check-out process is very simple. Excelene location in the center of Jacó to be able to walk to everything. Marilú always answered us very quickly. Recommended.

Our stay was great! The host / team was very accommodating and ensured we were comfortable and all our needs were handled. They were a great help for local recommendations, and arranging transportation. Very responsive too!! The location is PERFECT and across the street from beach access was amazing. This spot had everything we needed for the most amazing week!

Ellen has a management company look after her guests. Kattia from Horizons was amazing. All the local staff on site for gardening and security were incredible people. Ellen’s place is in need of a couple of things, but we have been to Costa Rica many times and our expectations were met with her property. If you are looking for 5 star on the beach this is not it. If you are looking for a cozy and quaint location, with a small and beautiful courtyard and pool area with a 5 minute walk to the beach and town, then this place is for you. Glad we found Ellen’s property it suited our needs for a great family vacation.

Pure perfection! The views are incredible. The infinity pool is literally steps away and we had it all to ourselves. The condo is very spacious and very clean. Photos do not do this place justice. My family of 6 had the best stay here and would definitely come back in the future.

By far one of the best AirBnBs I have stayed in, from communication to expectations. The amount of detail that Joel and his team put into making sure we are taken cared of is exactly what our group was looking for. From sharing all the details and recommendations at the time at check in, answering all questions and if we need anything in terms of transportation, specific excursions or general questions prior to our trip was also super helpful and something we appreciated a lot. Also, never had an AirBnB notice a toaster be broken and the next day already had one ordered to replace, goes to show Joan, the maid who cooked for us is very attentive. Ilya is the most communicative and helpful host out there! So accommodating and gracious, including when our flight was cancelled. Offers a ton of helpful recommendations. The condo is clean and the rooftop view is so beautiful, such a peaceful place to enjoy dinner or a good book. Walking distance to cafes and restaurants. Coco beach was not our favorite location in Costa Rica, but no complaints about this Airbnb, and the hosts service is simply unmatched.

I stayed for a week with my husband and 4 year old, and worked for 4 days remote. I was very concerned about the Internet, but Erika assured me it was great, and it was. I brought an Ethernet cable to be sure and was able to plug it into the wifi router no problem for a bit of extra speed, and could easily run teams meetings and work on large shared documents with no issues. The pool was SUCH a hit with my daughter, and we met a lot of very nice people in the complex. It was very central and easily walkable to the beach and lots of great restaurants. I'd highly recommend Erika's place if you're staying in tamarindo with kids, or working remote.

Our experience was perfect from start to finish. Scott is an amazing host, super responsive, and it shows that he cares that you have a great stay. The place was spotless and the kitchen was as furnished as our own place back home. We had everything thing that we needed for cooking and then some. The pool was great and you can get to the beach by foot in 4 minutes. We only have positives things to say and we recommend Scott’s place to anyone looking for a place in Playas del Coco!

This was an absolutely villa located in the very friendly and walkable Las Catalinas resort community. The resort staff greeted us with young coconuts to sip, escorted us to our villa (and sent our luggage by cart), and gave us a thorough overview of the offerings in the area. The concierge desk was easily reachable through apps and gave flawless service arranging tours, restaurant reservations, whatever we needed! The resort offers plenty of restaurant and recreation options, and unexpected amenities like being able to borrow the electric vehicle for two hours at bo charge. The private beach had soft black sand and the entire property was extremely well-groomed. The villa was immaculate, beautifully designed and maintained. My only complaint was we could not figure out how to turn off the somewhat loud courtyard fountain, but it became white noise as we grew accustomed to it. I would highly recommend this unit and Las Catalinas as a restaurant destination!

The location is fantastic—close enough to all the exciting attractions, yet tucked away enough to enjoy a peaceful night’s sleep without the noise. The kitchen was impressively well-stocked, making it easy to prepare meals during my stay. I particularly appreciated the thoughtful touches (oils, spices, etc that made cooking a breeze. Communication with the host was exemplary. She provided clear instructions for a clear route into the area after the rains and check-in was a breeze, which made the entire process seamless and hassle-free. Another noteworthy aspect is the on-site parking, which is a huge bonus in such a busy area. Having a security guard monitoring the car gave me peace of mind throughout my visit. Overall, this place exceeded my expectations in every way, and I would happily return on my next trip!

I really enjoyed my stay; it was a little piece of paradise! It was very spacious, cozy, and made me feel right at home. It had great amenities, including everything you need in the kitchen, and an in-suite laundry was a nice added touch. The shared pool was a great way to cool off and lounge when I didn’t feel like going to the beach; and when I did, the beach was an easy 15-20 minute walk. There are a few local walkable shops (coffee and restaurants), but I would be prepared to take transportation if you want to go farther into town. I’d strongly recommend staying here!

Jeff was a fantastic host, very accommodating, if any issues came up he was always quick to answer our questions. Very private and a great location, as downtown area is a short 10 minute walk. Photos look exactly like the place. Would recommend to anyone who is looking for a cozy and welcoming place to stay in Tamarindo.

We had an awesome stay, this place is very recommended if u like to party during the day and have a nice rest at night. The place is 3 mins drive from tamarindo beach and 10mins walking. The Condo has all the basics for cooking (nice stove, utensils,plates,pots, nice fridge with ice maker,coffee Maker and more). Beds are very confortable and bathrooms are clean. Swimming pool is right in front so it was nice just to go out and check on our kid while using the pool. We felt like home.

110% wonderful experience felt just like home the pool was great walking distance to lots of good food and Cocoa Beach nice and quiet respectful neighbors quiet neighborhood very safe. all the hosts and co-hosts were very helpful recommending local spots and being proactive letting me know about issues at the airport and extending my stay due to canceled flights. very much appreciated will definitely come back again we enjoyed it immensely! thank you!!

Excellent place, very well equipped, spacious rooms and each one with its own bathroom, large and private pool. Beautifully decorated and very aseado. We'll definitely be back.

We had the best time at High Nest! It was the perfect place to spend our honeymoon. The house and location are amazing. A short walk to a beautiful beach. The house was spotless and even more beautiful than the pictures.  Shannon was an incredible host. She had endless recommendations and was always very responsive to any questions we had. She always made us feel at home.  We had the privilege of getting to know Shannon and her husband, Michael, and they are absolutely wonderful people who we hope to cross paths with again in the future. I highly recommend staying at High Nest if you have the opportunity to do so. You won’t regret it!  We can’t wait to come back! :)
