The condominium complex is very nice and family friendly. Jim was very helpful and extremely prompt on any requests and guidance for the area.

We have stayed in many Air BnBs and this one takes the prize. We just returned from 5 days from Gil and Bernie's beautiful and comfortable home. A perfect spot for our family of 4 - including 2 boys who loved the pool just steps from the front door. Loved the little condo village it is in with the pathway and lush plants too. A perfect location - very walk able to the beach, groceries, bars and restaurants. As hosts, they have thought of everything to ensure you have a memorable time - beach stuff (cooler, chairs, boogie board, frisbees, etc..) and a kitchen stocked with what you need. Super responsive to our questions including getting our laundry done overnight after arriving from a week on the road. And loved meeting Bernie in real life! A great place, with great hosts, in a great country. We cannot wait to return!

Incredible Airbnb experience. Perfect place to stay in Costa Rica hands down!

We spent a wonderful 12 days at Luca’s place. The garden and pool area was even more beautiful than we expected and we were thrilled with our little side courtyard and hammock. The house was nice inside and adequate for our needs. The walk to the beach is easy for fit adults and older kids, but a little challenging for younger children. Consider renting a golf cart if you don’t have a car. We appreciated how we were close to groceries stores, coffee shops and restaurants and yet slightly removed from the nightlife noise. We would absolutely stay again if we get a chance to come back!

We have an incredible stay at Villa Tranquila. The pool and patio area are private, spacious and offer a stunning view of Playa Hermosa. The house was very clean with spotless tile flooring throughout, large en-suite bathrooms, very well stocked kitchen and supplies. Deborah was quick to respond to things that came up - the safe was repaired quickly and an empty propane tank was replaced within minutes of reporting it. Deborah gave us ideas on activities and restaurants and Fernando the property manager is friendly and cheerful. I agree with others that a 4 wheel drive vehicle is needed for steep streets. We will recommend this property to others and will stay here again if we ever return to Costa Rica.

The unit is close to everything. Grocery store is just a short walk, the beach a short walk and lots of restaurants to pick from. Every evening we had margaritas on the beach watching the beautiful sunset. Tamarindo is one of our favorite places in the world and this was a good place to stay with a pool, beach towels, washer and dryer, good kitchen and comfortable living area. Note to anyone renting this unit, if you don't do stairs realize there are three stories of tiled steps to the top master bedroom, which we didn't mind even though we are seniors as it's good exercise. It's a great bedroom with AC and a balcony and bathroom. We were very comfortable there. The rental agency is super helpful and quickly responsive. We had our transport from the airport set up with them and when our shuttle was late, we just called Kattia and she took care of it promptly. Even an email on Sunday morning was answered within minutes. Ellen is a person you can trust. The location is fantastic.

5 star stay all around.

Kim’s place overlooking Ocotal bay is absolutely stunning. We felt like we were in a five star resort. The views are incredible and we could hear the waves crashing from our balconies. All the rooms were spotless and the furniture is high quality. We enjoyed the little extras like plentiful beach towels, beach chairs, and a cooler which made our beach outings even better. The location was great for us as we visited several beautiful beaches nearby. We look forward to one day returning.

Gustavo, our concierge, was incredibly proactive and responsive to make sure we had a great stay. We were able to walk to the beach and restaurants easily from this location. It is on a hill but we enjoyed the exercise. The kitchen had all the basics so we were able to cook our own breakfast. Our time in Tamarindo was awesome. Pura vida!

The house was beautiful, just like the photos. Our host Fabrizio was outstanding! He was so extremely helpful throughout our whole stay. The house is close to the main street so, we didn't have to go far to the grocery store or restaurants. We opted not to rent a car and use Uber. That was wonderful, the only issue was some drivers weren't extremely familiar with the address but when we learned to tell tell them, when you go up the hill make the first left, it was much easier. Overall, wonderful and relaxing stay. Thank you!

Ilya is the most communicative and helpful host out there! So accommodating and gracious, including when our flight was cancelled. Offers a ton of helpful recommendations. The condo is clean and the rooftop view is so beautiful, such a peaceful place to enjoy dinner or a good book. Walking distance to cafes and restaurants. Coco beach was not our favorite location in Costa Rica, but no complaints about this Airbnb, and the hosts service is simply unmatched.

Stayed at Erika's for a family vacation. Her place was perfect; close walk to everything we wanted to do in Tamarindo, including beach, restaurants and shops. The grounds were quiet and the pool was perfect for the kids when they needed a quick swim before (or after) our adventures in town, etc. Erika was always responsive whenever we had a question about the accommodations and/or recommendations about our trip in general such as the best vehicle to rent, best place to get groceries, etc. Highly recommend staying at Erika's.

The only thing better than the place was the host. Scott was born to host on Airbnb. From the time we arrived to moment we left, he was always just a msg away and took incredible care of us. The place has everything you need to enjoy a week, a month or a year in Coco. We’re talking cheese grater, rice cooker, cooler to take on your travels…literally everything. The condo is ideally located a couple minutes from the hustle and bustle of downtown, and a mere 2 min walk from the ocean. The pool is always clean and 20ft from the front door. I’ve stayed in 30+ Airbnbs and this one is for sure in my top 3. Six stars.

Liane is an excellent host. She was proactive in her communications with us in regard to our check in and out times and when there was some very very minor damage from a previous guest. The location was great for us as we love walking and exploring. Liane had many fantastic recommendations and we were never led astray.

Kathleen’s place is really beautiful. The views from the decks are amazing. The kitchen was great. Everything you needed. New shiny appliances. Beds were very comfortable. Air conditioning worked well in the bedrooms and the main floor was the perfect temp with the ocean breezes. Great showers with plenty of hot water. We loved being right on the beach. It is a big place where we were all able to find our own place to be. The beach is lovely, good waves for boogie boarding and jumping waves. There are kayaks to use which is nice as well. Great restaurants on the beach that you can walk to on the beach. We went to the Beach House and it was delicious! I highly recommend Kathleen’s place!

Great rental! Be sure you rent a big enough car to get around on the Nosara roads, but this house had parking and was easy to find. It was clean, modern, peaceful, and everything we wanted for the first half of our Costa Rican vacation!

It is an excellent place to relax with family and visit beautiful spots. The beach is very close, and there are great restaurants in the area. Highly recommended!

We really liked the house and the cleanliness, we were very comfortable and the jacuzzi is a delight, the guys really enjoyed the pool!

We loved our stay, the house is very spacious. Kids loved having a pool in the backyard and another one in the community. Hosts were always available if we needed anything. We would definitely stay here again and had the best month.

We had the absolute perfect stay at Shannon's beautiful property in Playa Hermosa! The view from the primary bedroom on the second floor was sublime and the pictures of the listing do not do it justice! Pristine linens, clean, quiet, private, and a great kitchen to cook if you wanted to do so! Awesome plunge pool off the first floor balcony! We didn't cook much but explored some of the local restaurants - the ceviches at Marisco on the beach was amazing and the best I had in Costa Rica! Pura Vida Juice Bar for great healthy smoothies and Ginger for great cocktails and small appetizers plates! The property is located with an easy walk to the beautiful uncrowded, calm beach, perfect for swimming and cooling off. Shannon and Michael were the perfect hosts, always helpful, and available to answer any question!
