The pictures really don't do it justice. We had an amazing time and there's so much around the area to see, we've not even scratched the surface. We'll definitely be coming back.

Log cabin on organic farm

AdrianRating, 5 stars1 month ago
The cabin is set in a beautiful location and is roomy and well equipped. Even in February we were cosy and warm. There are thoughtful touches like board games which we enjoyed playing. There was a handy guide to local restaurants and the hosts were very welcoming and kind. We would highly recommend Tessa’s cabin , Thank you Rose & Adrian

Barn conversion, panoramic views in countryside

EmmaRating, 5 stars7 months ago
Absolutely fantastic Airbnb! We have stayed in a fair few and this is definitely one of the best we have stayed in, for the location, size and definitely amenities! It was great to have everything we needed already there to compliment what we'd brought! The barn itself is a phenomenal space; we were really lucky with the weather and were treated to some amazing star gazing and sunset! The kids play area was lovely and our little one had a fantastic time playing as well as saying hello to the cows and chickens! Would highly recommend and would love to return in the future!

Your Very Own Barn in the country

KeithRating, 5 stars7 months ago
This was our third stay at the lovely barn and I’m sure we will be back in future. Lots of character, beautiful, peaceful surroundings with a few pubs within a couple of miles walk. Diana was a great host as ever, overall another very enjoyable stay.

Summerhouse , escape to Herefordshire, see reviews

AthenaRating, 5 stars7 months ago
I can’t recommend Jacqui and David’s place enough. They were ever so friendly, welcoming, and kind (especially as I’d driven a long way!). They gave the best recommendations and were always available and to hand if I had any queries. They were always around for a chat, which was nice as a solo traveller. The facilities were very clean, the bed was sooo soft and everything down to the small touches was absolutely perfect. I shall miss Barney (their beautiful dog) very much. I would rush back in a heartbeat! Thank you both kindly for your hospitality.

Flagstone Cottage, Broadley Farm

Jean-MaryRating, 5 stars5 months ago
Wonderful long weekend at Flagstone Cottage, the most peaceful place we’ve ever been, no car noises whatsoever and beautiful scenery. Cottage was exactly as described. We asked for the BBQ to come back out and Clare actually brought out all the outside furniture for us to use which was a nice surprise when we got back from our day trip. Our 5yo daughter loved the mezzanine bedroom and being able to have multiple baths a day (we only have a shower at home). The walk from Llanthony Priory up Hatterhall hill is amazing and the pint in the priory grounds at the end was very scenic and rewarding! Hay-On-Wye is well worth a visit, Abergavenny also.

A comfy space in the heart of the Brecon Beacons

SimonRating, 5 stars4 days ago
Fantastic spot, and comfortable homely accomodation. Great host. Roads to get there over the last few miles are tight and littered with pot-holes. Don't bring a wide sportscar with fancy rims and you will be fine.

Pat's Flat - peaceful stay on a beautiful farm.

NicholasRating, 5 stars1 month ago
We had a wonderful stay, it’s a beautiful place and we felt very comfortable. The location was perfect for us - only a short drive to Monmouth, Ross-on-Wye and Symonds Yat, yet secluded and peaceful. We had a lovely walk around the local area and really enjoyed seeing birds, rabbits etc.

The Cider Shack with its Tiny House & outdoor bath

MeganRating, 5 stars1 month ago
We loved our stay here! Very close to the Brecon Beacons where we did a sunrise hike up Pen Y Fan and we did the four falls trail too. The air b and b itself was glamping but to another level! Everything was so thought through and the facilities were amazing. We wish we booked 1 extra night and were so sad to leave! Laura is such a welcoming hosts and has very good communication, would love to stay here again.

Luxury 17th Century Farmhouse w/ hot tub and views

Maddie Rating, 5 stars2 months ago
We absolutely loved staying here, the photos don't do it justice! Gorgeous home thats kept very well with unique touches. We loved the well stocked kitchen, piano addition and cosy atmosphere. The rooms were all large and bright too. The surroundings are gorgeous and you can walk from the house on a public walk, and very easy to drive to local places. We hired a masseuse to come for the day which was amazing and we'd really recommend: Catrin Houston - Massage Therapy Thanks Sophia, it was gorgeous and we feel very well rested!

White Horse Farm

Crystle DeborahRating, 5 stars7 months ago
From the moment we booked communication was amazing. Upon arrival was made to feel at home with a little welcome package. Was amazing holiday. The only negative which couldn’t be helped was no hot water though he really did try and get this sorted. He kept us up to date with the repairs and even though wasn’t sorted we had the most amazing time some things you can’t help and can’t foresee happening. Was one of the best places to get together as a family and to just relax and enjoy time together. Thank you dan for being amazing your home is stunning and really is well loved.

“Goshawk Lodge” Self Contained Mountain-top cabin

CristinaRating, 5 stars2 weeks ago
My partner and I were looking for a quiet space to get out the city and relax. We’ve only stayed couple of nights, but has been amazing. Great views lovely walks in the woods. The lodge was spot on, super clean and Clive and Debra had given us directions to get there. Clive met us at the bottom of the hill and showed us how to get there. We had wood for bbq and fireplace, only had to bring our own charcoal. Amazing stay definitely recommend! Thanks guys!

Alpaca Luxury Lodges - Gardenfield Cabin

KieranRating, 5 stars1 day ago
We loved our stay. From the moment we walked in, we knew we made the right choice for our stay in Wales. The space was very well decorated and clean throughout, allowing us to fully enjoy our time spent within the lodge. Although we only got to enjoy the hot tub for one night due to the wind (beyond anyone’s control), the one night we did get to use it helped make our stay even more special. Having the alpacas roaming around and so close to the lodge was a really cool experience, adding to the breathtaking scenery. The hosts were lovely, going above and beyond across our stay. They showed us around the lodge and how things worked, were very friendly, helped answer any questions we had and made sure our stay was the best it could be. We couldn’t recommend this lodge enough and would love to come back another time when we are in Wales.

Sugar Loaf Barn

MichelleRating, 5 stars2 weeks ago
We had a wonderful weekend celebrating our daughter’s 21st birthday. A beautiful barn inside & out with stunning countryside. You can walk to SugarLoaf mountain from your back door. Plenty of equipment in the kitchen and the firepit was useful for smores on an evening, whilst watching the sun set. If you are hoping to watch tv (England rugby was on the weekend we went) the reception isn’t great, but the scenery & hot tub make up for this. I love the App which we were sent as this is full of details for your stay, and Andrew the owner/farmer is very helpful. We definitely recommend The Crown pub for a Sunday roast, very welcoming, lovely food and dog friendly (recommend pre-booking for the dog area) and Abergavenny is a lovely town to visit with plenty of bespoke shops as well as chain stores. An all round great area to visit and we will be back.

A lovely place to stay that was peaceful. Sharon was very quick to reply to any messages that we sent. A lovely location and we enjoyed a nice circular walk to see some castles. Will be going back. The OS wallpaper was a particular highlight for me.

Daisy Lodge & Hot Tub, reduced nightly price!

TomRating, 5 stars3 weeks ago
My partner and I booked Daisy Lodge as our base whilst exploring the Brecon Beacons. With only being a ten minute drive to Abergavenny, we found it to be perfect. The lodge was in a secluded countryside setting with incredible views (pictures don’t do it justice). The hot tub was just what we were after - the perfect wind down after our hikes around the national park. Justin and Claire were very prompt to answer any questions we had. I would highly recommend Daisy Lodge to anyone seeking a relaxing break.

The Covey, a Tudor cottage for two.

SophieRating, 5 stars2 weeks ago
A wonderful stay in the beautiful 500 year-old Covey! Incredible views and stunning sunrises. Sarah and family were very welcoming and responsive during our stay - loads of great suggestions for local trips! Loved coming back after a day of walking to a cosy log fire, great library and movies to boot. Our dog Ennio loved it too! So nice to be able to have a small private garden as well as a large field/gardens to walk him in.
