Vacation rentals with breakfast in Monmouthshire

Really enjoyed my stay at Emily’s home. A comfortable room and quality coffee and lovely breakfast snacks. Everything I needed. It may have been me, but I couldn’t adjust the temperature in the shower. Other than that, perfect!

Amazing host. Very friendly and welcoming. Beware of the cat though, it may force you for head scratches and belly rubs

We had a lovely stay with Andy and Claire. Their home is lovely and they couldn’t have been better hosts - friendly, helpful, welcoming and we felt right at home. Being a short walk from the station, a beautiful park and a fabulous Italian restaurant it was the perfect location for the Newport Marathon weekend. Nothing was too much trouble for them and we would highly recommend staying here if you’re visiting Newport and the surrounding area.

Had a lovely stay for competition at David Broome! Very cosy little room with a nice and clean bathroom. Kim was very nice and helpful!

Very pleasant stay in a very recently built house. I was looking somewhere quiet as I needed a long night of sleep and I can confirm it was the case. The bedroom, the bathroom and the kitchen were very clean. Rhys was really proactive in his communications and gave me some very helpful tips regarding local transports and pubs as well as asking me weeks in advance what I wanted for breakfast. Overall I think it was good value for money.

Had a fabulous stay! The host was extremely welcoming and responsive, providing breakfast, driving me into town and accommodating a late checkout. The room, kitchen and bathroom were very clean, and the amenities in the room (tv, kettle and coffee/tea) were nice. Stores are only a few minutes on foot and it’s easily accessibly right off the highway. Would definitely recommend staying here!

What stood out was the amazing breakfast offered - a selection of fresh fruits, yoghurt, bread, pastries and various spreads (especially loved the chocolate orange spread)! What a warm and welcoming host as well. 5 star stay - highly recommended :D

A warm and comfortable place. Perfect location for rugby in Cardiff. And parking might seem tight as you approach but outside property there are no issues.

We have just got home from a brilliant few days at this lovely apartment. Easy check in with some lovely bits left out in the kitchen for us - super thoughtful touches, thank you! The space was perfect for what we needed and exactly what we were expecting from the listing. Really cosy lounge and a comfy bed, perfect after long days of adventures. Location is superb and there is so much to do. We found all the locals to be super friendly and gave us some wonderful recommendations. We have never been to Coleford before but would absolutely come back and would really recommend staying here. Thank you so much again!

Rob is a great host who definitely made that extra effort to make us welcome, and leaving us in no doubt that if we did needed anything he would be there to help. His apartment was immaculately clean and tidy and just as it was described, we were not disappointed. The location of the property to city center is excellent just being a short walk away. The secured on site parking was also worry free and very convenient. We all enjoyed our weekend stay at Rob's greatly, and look forward to returning in the future.

Most of all, Eric and Mel are lovely, interesting and attentive hosts, making the whole experience an absolute pleasure every time. 10 out of 10, couldn’t possibly recommend more!

We had a great stay at John’s place in Bath. The flat was clean, comfortable, and had everything I needed for a relaxing visit. The bathroom was especially lovely, really nicely done with a great bathtub. One of the best things about the place was the location, just a short walk from loads of great cafes, restaurants, and local shops. Perfect base for discovering the city. Would definitely stay again!

We really enjoyed our stay at Julies. I would highly recommend it. It is so cosy, bright, impeccably clean, everything was there that you needed. Also Julie had left stuff for breakfast, cereals, yogurts, tea, coffee, bread. It was a really nice touch. I also loved the "Sanctuary" shower gels, body lotions, that were there for our use. The balcony was also an added bonus and we had our breakfast outside in the sun each morning. I will definitely be back.

We really enjoyed our stay in the garden flat. The location was great for walks on the Malvern Hills as well as exploring Gt Malvern & other nearby places. The flat was very comfortable & well equipped and was perfect for our mini break. The breakfast ingredients were much appreciated. Thank you very much Sue.

Very nice stay with Julie. Tea on arrival was very welcome and after my long walk. Breakfast timed to accommodate my walk starting times. Lots of choice at breakfast. Great location in centre of Crickhowell. Very quiet and peaceful.

Location was stunning, the host was lovely and it has beautiful walks on the doorstep. Hot tub definitely worth the extra money as elevates the stay to another level. The dog thoroughly enjoyed his stay as well!

HELEN AND RICK ARE MY HEROES!!!! The house, price, welcome were all perfect. What happened after my original stay was way better than my expectations. I had a nasty fall at Bike Park Wales, which resulted in being at A&E for 8 hours. I live in Kent and called Helen to see if I could stay another night, which she agreed to. I arrived around midnight and Rick (owners husband) got up, made me some food and made sure I was ok. The morning after and Helen gave me some cream for my wounds and helpful advice. Best stay ever and best AirBnB hosts too. If there's any AirBnB award for the best hosts, they deserve it.

We recently stayed in the Red Room and the accomodation was beyond our expectations! The four poster bed was stunning and incredibly comfortable. There was a great variety of delicious breakfast options, along with a range of hot drinks and nibbles including fresh cake and brownies. The location provided us with a great hub for walking in the Wye Valley and Siobhan kindly packed the delicious frittatas we didn't finish for breakfast so we can take them with us! On check in Siobhan was warm and friendly, showing us around the gardens and our room, providing recommendations for local food and activities. We highly recommend this accommodation and hope to come back in the future!

Teona’s Upper Red House is her special home. We were grateful for this experience in her historic farmhouse and site. We woke in cozy soft beds to watch the sun come up in the morning mist on the Welsh landscape. We walked and enjoyed looking through the books she made easily available too. The Upper Red house was a jumping off place for us to Tintern Abbey, Chepstow Castle and St Fagans National Museum of History. We wish we could have stayed longer with Teona. The Brecon Beacons, Cardiff and Caerphilly Castle are within reach too and still on our wish list. Thank you, Teona!

What a lovely stay at Pen Y Dre Farm. Idris and his two sons were very pleasant and helpful. What a beautiful location and place. Loved the animals out back. The farm has lots of character. Even the dog Lenny welcomed us!

Jan and her husband were great hosts with lots of suggestions of where to eat and nice walks. The place was well decked out and comfortable and there were chocolates and brownies to welcome us.

What a lovely place to stay. Gino and staff made you feel at home from the time you arrive to the time you check out. Great breakfast included. We had evening meal one night which was lovely too. We stayed as we were going to a wedding and what the special touch was we were picked up at the end of the night by one of Gino’s staff. First class. Thank you for a great stay and have already recommended to friends.
