Guesthouse vacation rentals in Monmouthshire

This is one of the best Airbnbs we have stayed in. The property is full of character, beautifully decorated, warm and welcoming. The kitchen is well stocked for cooking, while both Ludlow and Tenbury Wells offer good eating options within a short drive. There are so many options for walking nearby, we were spoilt for choice. Julia was a great host and communicated well. The outdoor space looks lovely, it was just a shame that it wasn't warm enough to enjoy.

The Stables is a lovely property all round. We enjoyed the hot tub and slept peacefully in the luxurious bedroom. The location is perfectly private but very close to pubs and shops and only a 10 minute bus journey in to Bath city centre. Nancy was very quick, responsive and always willing to help. Will always recommend and will hopefully be back soon! The complementary bottle of Prosecco was a lovely treat. Thank you all round to Nancy, we had a brilliant stay.

My wife Kate and I had a wonderful,very relaxing short break from our busy working lives. Ian and Christine were friendly and welcoming and the space was clean, warm and homely with everything we needed. In spite of the wet and cold, we had a great time exploring the area and sampling some local food,(and cider of course) before returning to our cosy accommodation.We will hopefully visit again in better weather.

We had such a great stay here! The location is stunning, with gorgeous countryside views—perfect for a peaceful escape. The bedrooms are spacious with super comfy beds. David is a fantastic host - really responsive and helpful from start to finish. Would definitely recommend the Barn!

Fantastic air bnb, with all the amenities you could need. So comfortable and lovely location! We loved the walk into Bath along the canal, and visiting Bathampton Mill and the George pubs! Local spar useful too. Recommend walking up little solsbury hill on a clear day. Perks were the secure parking, big private space and quiet location. Thanks Amanda, would happily stay again when visiting Bath and surrounding area.

Sally's place was a great find and allowed me to explore Bath easily. It's up quite a steep hill, and therefore driving my car to the bottom to park seemed a good strategy to avoid excess walking! Currently those parking spaces give you 4 hours, and after 6pm parking is free. The place itself is well proportioned and had all the amenities I needed. It's very quiet at night, so I was able to get some restful sleep. Sally was very friendly, kind and helpful. Also very quick to respond to my messages. As long as you're ok with the location (up a hill!) then I'd happily recommend it to anyone looking to visit Bath.

Had a lovely stay, in Frome. The room is private and on a quiet street but you can get to the town very easily and it's only a short drive to bath. The room has everything you need for a short stay and is very cozy

Trudy was a lovely host, she made sure we were greeted as soon as we arrived at the property and shown around. The property is stunning, absolutely spotless and filled with lovely little touches that made for a luxurious stay. From the attention to detail as you explore the property you can really tell Trudy truly cares to give her guests the best possible experience. All the little things really made this a perfect stay, along with of course the hot tub which we thoroughly enjoyed. I couldn't have asked for a better place to have a little relaxing retreat. If 10 stars was an option I would definitely give it, we will definitely be back in the future!

I have booked this accommodation a few times for someone who comes down from Huddersfield to deliver training for Lost Dog Tracking. Claire travels extensively and has stated that this is one of her favourite Airbnb's. Becky has been super helpful and when I have been unable to find the property to book and messaged her she has always responded quickly and resolved the issue. I have booked this accommodation for a further 3 visits from Claire in 2025. Thank you Becky.

Was perfect for a Valentines getaway! We are so grateful to Sam and Adrian for extending their hospitality, they truly went above and beyond to make us feel welcome and to make sure we had plenty of information about the surrounding area! We have to give our thanks also to William who provided lots of snacks and drinks through his tuck shop :) The barn itself was cosy yet spacious, the bed was super comfortable and water pressure in the shower was decent. The kitchen was fully-equipped for us to make a beef wellington on Valentines night!! Even the temperatures were near freezing - that didn’t stop us from taking full advantage of the fire place out on the patio! Overall we had a wonderful stay and would love to come and stay again! I had a great stay here! It is in an ideal location which is great for hiking. They were great hosts, made me feel very welcome and had provided lots of suggestions for walks/ places to eat. The Den was spotless and a lovely place to be for a couple nights! Thank you for the stay☺️

We had a lovely long weekend at Robin’s Nest which was cosy and comfortable. Bath city centre was only a 20 minute walk away, although a bit hilly in places, yet where we stayed was beautifully peaceful & out of the hustle & bustle. Amy, who looked after us during our stay, was extremely helpful & proactive with information & tips. The added extras on arrival were a lovely little treat, thank you.

This is a great place for a peaceful break. The accommodation was immaculate and there is everything you need. The host was very quick at replying to messages and very flexible with the use of the beautiful swimming pool. Would highly recommend.

Old school feel to the place, great layout and fantastic location. Very friendly people. We had a very pleasant trip, highly recommended.

The Gardeners’s Pavillion was beautifully designed with an amazing attention to detail throughout. It was a fabulous place to stay with easy access to the hills, shops and pub. We didn’t use the car at all throughout our stay. The welcome goodies were fabulous and greatly appreciated, the eggs in particular were wonderful! We will most certainly be back!

Thoroughly enjoyed our stay. The house had everything we needed and the location was very private, quiet and safe. It was easy to get to from the motorway without having to deal with city centre traffic. The bed was very comfortable and I loved being able to see the stars through the Velux window. above the bed.

Our third year staying with Vicky and Robert. Vicky is always really helpful in the lead up to us arriving and always very friendly when we arrive and depart. The place is perfect for the two us who stay for race week with everything we need. Thanks again hopefully see you next year

The annexe is clean and well located, I would definitely return for another stay - very good views and everything you would need for a few days.

We had a wonderful stay here for four days to explore the local area. We had an idea of how it looked from the photos, but when we arrived and saw the place for ourselves, we were amazed. The place looked fantastic. It was clean, tidy, very cozy, and had everything we needed for our stay. Facilities were brilliant, and it was so easy to find and access. The hosts were wonderful, and we would highly recommend.
