We had a really lovely stay at Carol’s shepherd’s hut. It was cosy and in such an idyllic location where we were able to fully wind down and relax for our stay. The added touches made a difference and Carol was proactive in her communication which was lovely. Thank you for a lovely stay!

We had such a lovely time at the shepherds hut, a perfectly peaceful and quiet get away - just what we needed! Great location for picturesque walks. We walked along Offas Dyke took 2.5 hrs straight from the hut. The local town had everything you needed only a short drive or 20 min walk away. We grabbed a takeaway pizza from Daphnes which was very delicious. Despite wet weather all weekend it did not dampen our spirits. The covered kitchen was a perfect location to cosy up and watch the thunder and lightning. It had everything you needed to make breakfast. The provided bread, bacon, eggs & milk were a lovely addition. The bed was very very comfy and the hut was clean, tidy & cosy. The hill up to the hut is steep but the provided wheelbarrow helped. Leaving in the rain was hilarious.

We loved our stay on the shepherds hut, which looked and felt new, and was beautifully finished. Fantastic location, great for local walks (we walked to The Open Ditch pub) and amazing views from the bed & seating area. Very accommodating hosts, super helpful and responsive. My boyfriend and I thoroughly enjoyed our stay at this beautiful shepherd hut! It was so cosy and peaceful and very romantic. The bed was extremely comfortable and the bath was just incredible, so relaxing. The location is excellent for walks in the countryside and also super close to Worcester city, it really is the best of both worlds! We would love to visit again in the near future and couldn’t recommend staying here enough. Thank you Elliot and Tiffany 😊

Emily’s place was an ideal getaway, secluded, clean, peaceful the perfect place to unwind for a few days, the hot tub made it extra special, all communication with Emily was excellent, would definitely recommend, will definitely be returning, thank you Emily.

AMAZING stay in a nearby paradise. Everything you need to connect back to nature. Cosy and beautiful - would have stayed there forever if we could have!

We needed a restful break and this was perfect! The site was quiet and the Wagon was secluded in the far corner of an orchard. A lovely place for a rustic honeymoon! It was very pretty, and comfortable: warm enough in cool evenings & the bed was luxurious! The kitchen was basic: a non-microwave oven with hobs on top, a sink with a water dispenser, and a kettle. No fridge but a cool box with freezer blocks. We did some washing up in the van but took big loads to the sinks at the campsite with running water. We had brought a fold-up trolley with us to ferry our stuff to and from the car; about 50 metres from van to parking on the campsite, by the loos, showers, washing up & water points. The facilities were basic but fine, although the lighting at night was erratic - take a torch! Louise was friendly and helpful, and told us of a short walk nearby which took us through woodland dripping with moss. Think glamping not bricks & mortar: for that & value for money I rate it 5 stars.

Thoroughly enjoyed our stay in this beautiful shepherds hut in the middle of the welsh countryside. Beautiful dramatic surroundings where we took advantage of the local walks. Location was perfect as it felt remote and quiet enough to feel like a real escape from reality but if we needed to pop to a shop or out for a drink in the evening these were only a short distance drive away. We bumped into Robert on his tractor Saturday morning and he greeted us with a warm welcome and gave us some recommendations on things to see and do in the local area which was appreciated. Thank-you so much for having us 😊 we hope to be back again soon!

Our stay at Marks and Mirandas was very special. Mark made sure we had everything we needed. The place is beautiful with so much nature around. Would recommend for a quiet get away to listen to bird song

Great location and hut! We’d definitely visit again it was so peaceful and relaxing. The place was lovely too with real care and effort gone into customising things like the lovely stained glass windows installed.

This shepherd hard was fantastic, more spacious than some we have stayed in and in a beautiful setting. Strongly recommend

Such a wonderful stay. Having a private garden with the hot tub was really such a lovely experience, and the log fire was so cute. The self check-in and out was super easy, and we really felt like it was our own getaway home retreat for the night. We’ll see you again soon ☺️

Just home from a most perfect relaxing break in the MOST beautiful surroundings. It’s our second visit and we can’t wait to book a third. Sunsets, sun rises , fabulous views, star gazing, lots of wildlife and birdsong . Once parked we walked through a beautiful wood full of bluebells and other wild flowers . The hut was cosy with a great wood burning stove and a comfortable bed. The hammock and swing seats were so relaxing and the hot tub was perfect! Nearby Monmouth is always worth a visit with lots of independent shops and bars , restaurants. Thank you again .

Great little hut, was very clean and organised. Had everything we needed and more! Beautiful stay, very welcoming and peaceful. The cutest alpacas as our neighbours😊 amazing views woth an inside and outside fire. Board games inside for us with bread and milk included! The bed was very comfy with clean bedding, towels and shower essentials. Kitchen had everything we needed and more! Would 100% recommend.

Lovely place, great hosts. Could probably do with curtains and the shower is a little weak but that is nit picking. It is pretty much perfect.

Our stay was perfect - the hut is even better than described, immaculately clean, beautifully decorated, and set in the most peaceful surroundings. Every little detail had been thought of to make us feel completely at home. We were welcomed with fresh milk, eggs, tea, and coffee, which was such a lovely touch and made settling in feel so easy and thoughtful. It was clear a lot of care had gone into creating a relaxing space for guests. We left feeling refreshed - highly recommend!

fantastic stay, Rebecca gave really clear instructions on how to find her, arranged parking permits for our stay and was very responsive to our questions. well stocked kitchen with everything we needed, including milk and crumpets in the fridge, and tea and coffee, both the bed and sofa bed were very comfy and the shower had great water pressure. would definitely recommend staying here and would absolutely stay again when I'm visitng Bath

the most beautiful little hut in a beautiful location. Everything spot on and both very kind hosts. Chris was kind enough to give us a lift up the hill to a lovely little trail for a walk. 10/10 Would recommend.

- A wonderful 1 night stay in the Forest of Dean! - Tucked away from everything in the countryside. Very very peaceful - A very comfy, cosy stay with a few chickens roaming around! Loved it - Will need a car ideally to get to any pubs etc (NOTE: Make sure you use ‘what three words’ as the address you put into your maps won’t take you to the exact spot) Tom was very quick, friendly & helpful when answering our messages before we arrived Thanks again!

Such a peaceful and beautiful location, coupled with a cosy and efficient space. It was everything we needed for a great weekend and we’re looking forward to returning!
