Vacation rentals with lake access in Madera County

This is our second time staying here and it gets better and better. The cabin is beautiful and the walk down to the lake is the best part. Game room is a huge plus! We had plenty of room for family and friends. Can’t wait to stay again! Anne is an excellent host!

I stayed at Daniel's place for a quick weekend getaway to Yosemite with 3 of my friends. From the minute I booked, Daniel was very attentive to answering my questions to help me plan a great weekend! It was wonderful to make dinner together and share a lot of memories and laughs around the dining table. The kitchen really has everything you need to whip up a great meal. Beds were very comfortable and there was great water pressure for a nice warm shower after a full day of hiking in Yosemite. I really loved the location of the place as it put us just south to Yosemite while making the drive to and from LA feel a lot shorter. Definitely would stay again!

Our stay was wonderful! This cabin is not only in a fantastic location but was also perfect for accommodating our three-family group. There was ample parking and a fantastic view of the lake. Even during the off-season, the water level was high enough for us to take the canoe out, which was a treat. Pines Village was just a short, scenic walk away. We loved relaxing on the cozy couch indoors and on the dock to watch both sunrise and sunset over the lake. The cabin is very well-kept; don’t let the word 'rustic' deter you—it’s clean, comfortable, and spacious. We’re already looking forward to staying here again!

We LOVE this cozy home right by the lake. It has everything you need! Great views and walking distance to a semi private beach area & dock. The house is clean and has all the amenities you would need for a family vacation. The swamp coolers keep the place cool, even in very hot weather. We cannot wait to go back!

My girlfriend and I loved this airbnb! The place was clean, comfortable, and had everything we needed. The decor inside the room and on the patio was lovely and perfect for a national parks trip. Not too far a drive from the park and close to groceries, food, and charging/gas. Would highly recommend this place to anyone visiting Yosemite!

Three families enjoyed the Thanksgiving break at this sweet cabin. We enjoyed the fireplace, large common area with cozy couches, and separate upstairs area that the kids could hang out in. Outside deck was spacious, and neighborhood was lovely for a quick walk.

We had a very relaxing in time here! After working long hours in Big Creek we always looked forward to arriving to a quiet comfortable living space. Kitchen was very well prepared with cooking utensils and was huge plus for those that prefer cooking than going out and dining. Definitely look forward to booking again.

I booked, then checked in and due to my work schedule, I had to quickly move on to another area. But before I knew this the host was very responsive and helpful and was even willing to help accommodate a few things to better help with my schedule but unfortunately, I had to go to another area to be closer to my project site. But most importantly, she understood the situation and offered me a full refund without any issues or questions asked! Most hosts would have hassled me and only offer me a partial refund but because I only had a chance to sit down at the table before having to relocate and was communicative, it never even became a thing! I wish things would have worked out better work wise, but this place is definitely a place to consider if you're not limited to a crazy work schedule! Having an amazing host that is willing to go over and beyond just so you have a better experience is a must! Thank you for the top-notch hospitality when you very easily could have not been!

What a great little find! We got so lucky. This cozy Bear Cave is off the main drag in a quiet neighborhood. It is a basement unit so there’s only a couple windows but did not feel claustrophobic at all. Perfectly appointed space for 2 and maybe a kid on the couch. It shares one wall with another unit and you can hear people moving around above you, but it was not disturbing. We had trouble with the key pad but messaged Stormy and within 5 minutes we had a solution. Everything was clean and comfortable. We can’t wait to come back and stay again! Highly recommend!

We stayed at Kemi and Paul's guesthouse for a weekend in Yosemite. Such a peaceful and private neighborhood to stay in. The home was nice, clean, and well-furnished! The hosts, Kemi and Paul were also amazing. Super responsive, friendly, and helpful! Thank you for a wonderful stay! Will come back again if we are in the area!

This stay was terrific and mind blowing! A one of a kind experience that is absolutely recommended to anyone - young or old, couples or friends. Due to our spontaneous Sequoia and Yosemite National Park road trip we discovered this beautiful lodge and instantly booked it. The hosts replied immediately and confirmed. Upon our arrival we found a beautiful and cozy lodge with all amenities that you can ever imagine starting from the interior design, bathroom equipment and all kitchen utilities! Even flour, rice and noodles were available and that made us feel like home. The communication was always super fast, very uncomplicated and extremely professional. A real blessing towards our ongoing roadtrip. Thanks a lot and all the best!

Tom was an amazing host. He was flexible with check in time. Had Benjamin greet us and walk us through the property. He showed us where everything was. Made us feel right at home. The place was very clean and conveniently located. Walking distance to everything in town. I would come again and recommend to others

Melissa's Cottage is a real feel-good place. You enter the accommodation and feel right at home. It is very clean, incredibly cosy and furnished with love. In the morning you are greeted by birdsong and deer in the garden. It is about 1 hour away from Yosemite National Park. The perfect place to switch off. We would definitely come back. Thank you Melissa for this accommodation!

great place, the locations is amazing and close to alot to walk to. the place it's self is fantastic. the only downside is the kitchen doesnt have any cooking stuff just a microwave but the restaurants are all around it and east to walk to. definitely worth it.
