Farmstay vacation rentals in Madera County

My family and I wanted a peaceful Christmas in a quiet and beautiful setting and this hit the mark completely. We saw very few people and had a spectacular time cooking, relaxing, and marveling at nature. We all slept incredibly well as the mattresses were just right for us. We all commented how comfortable the beds were. Very enjoyable stay.

I have resided at Marilyn's cottage years before making for a very pleasant return. Updates to the place were well-placed, improving an already fantastic place. This speaks to Marilyn's eye for the importance of details as it relates to comfort. I would stay again.

We enjoyed our stay. The beds were super comfy, the living room had plenty of nice furniture to choose from, we loved the vaulted wood ceiling. Temperature was easy to control. The hot tub was easy to access and worked just right. Plenty of space in the house. Good wi-fi. Close to town and also a 15-20 minute drive to get into Yosemite. Good location to use as a base to multiple days in the park.

A very nice place in the woods. Lots of toys and fun arround the house for the Kids. Shell kept the dogs inside because of the children of what I was very thankful. The fireplace was very nice with lots of wood for the fire what we loved. Shell was also very welcoming and helpful when we arrived.

Sherri is a wonderful host. Their home is set up well for groups. Our family of 6 was very comfortable in the home with enough space for us all to sleep and hang out. Sherri was helpful with recommendations and flexible with requests. Their home is very near Oakhurst but also private and in nature. We were pleasantly surprised by seeing a deer our first night. Also, the house is well stocked with board games. We had an enjoyable family celebration and getaway to Yosemite. We look forward to visits again.

Rustic housing, but wonderful. Clean, comfortable and plenty of amenities to make us feel at home. Would definitely stay again if the opportunity arises.

Beautiful place. have stayed here multiple times. One of the best hosts, I've ever dealt with. Idyllic and pastoral surroundings paired with amazing amenities and a shower to die for after a long day on the bike.

Best Air B&B I have experienced so far Usually a long term renter and all previous hosts were fantastic. This location was perfect for my assignment, quiet, serene and so well built and appointed. Jami is the perfect host with 5 star accommodations

Easy check in, the house has everything you need, easy to use. Bathroom is great and the water pressure pretty good.

Stayed for a retreat and had a great time! The house itself was spacious and had great views for us to enjoy! There was also things to do around the area.

Perla and Chris have a beautiful home that we were able to stay in for about 4 months after we had a flood at our own house. The house was perfect for us, with lots of activities and games for the kids to play. They were responsive to any questions we had and helped us work through issues with our insurance company. I highly recommend the house for everyone, and especially advise it for any long stays!

The house is located in the farm lands with orchards as far as you can see. There were enough basics to make our stay comfortable and convenient and the space was big enough for 2 friends and 2 dogs. The location worked for us as we were doing day trips in all different directions but there is nothing to do in the immediate area. So if you like to be near restaurants or hiking trails, this place may not be for you. The living room area smelled quite musty which may be due to lack of window screens in that part of the house and possibly not being aired out often as a result. However, the heavenly scent of citrus blossoms as soon as we stepped out made up for it. In fact, at the time of our trip, the entire region smelled of the blossoms and it made the drive to and from the house enjoyable. Oh, also the side yard worked out perfect for our dogs.

Only great things! The cabin is perfectly laid out with great mix of cabin-ey things and nice house things. We brought our pups and they were treated with plenty of open space to run. The dog park is great and I honestly think that they each lost about 5 lbs from all of the exercise. We were fortunate to catch some great weather that went from sunny and 50s, to waking up to 4-6 inched of snow. The hot tub was perfect, too. As mentioned in other reviews, everything that could possibly need is there. Space was clean. And not the "clean" that I've seen at other cabins that includes layers of dust, but actually clean. Absolutely highly-recommend staying here!

This was my first time staying at an air Bnb and my experience was amazing to say the least! Cara is a wonderful host. She was responsive and so helpful. The cottage was gorgeous and so peaceful. I felt right at home and I feel refreshed. I wish I could have stayed forever. I’m already looking to stay at her other listings since she was such a good host. I will definitely be back here in the future. Thank you so much for everything!

Cecilia’s place is in a very peaceful area and we felt very comfortable. Her pups Maggie and Rigg are also very welcoming and adorable. We’ll definitely come back.

The Lodge is beyond beautiful. Would recommend to anyone who is looking for a cabin. It’s secluded, has a lot of privacy, a lot of trails, ponds, etc. So much to describe. Almost makes you not wanna go back to the city life. But overall NOMA did a great job. Fast communication. Any questions answered. The Lodge… it’s a work of art. Never been to a cabin before and I wanna go back already. All the work and detail gone into the cabin is perfect. Love the big rooms and enormous walk in showers. The high ceilings and chandelier is amazing too. Really love the loft and upper deck. The late night star seeing is something to look forward to. So much to say. But it’s definitely my favorite place. My family loved it. Thank you NOMA.

We had a great stay at Nancy’s place. We were welcomed with snacks and everything was spotlessly clean. The house is cozy and located in an incredible setting. Waking up to the sound of birds was beautiful, and we saw so many from the balcony. There’s an excellent coffee shop just steps from the house. It’s a perfect spot to stay if you’re heading to Kings Canyon or Sequoia.
