We had an excellent experience stay. The home was clean, comfortable, and exactly as described in the listing. Communication with the host was easy and friendly, and they were very responsive to any questions I had. I’d definitely stay here again and recommend it to others looking for a great stay in the area!

Beautiful location and big kitchen space.

My family and I had a fantastic time at Shanks Cabin! It was clean, cozy and had everything we could possibly need for a weekend getaway for our family of 5. The beds were comfortable and the cabin had all the amenities including a grill, hot tub, great outdoor space, and a fire pit. The space felt private and was very close from the El Portal entrance to Yosemite (1 hour or so, and a BEAUTIFUL drive to Yosemite). The hosts were very communicative and check in and check out were very easy. Would absolutely stay here again.

The cottage is cozy and the perfect place for a couple to stay. Really enjoyed the welcome and the cleanliness. Besides having the sound of the creek in the background my favorite part of the stay was the vintage claw foot tube. Hot baths after a day of hiking in Yosemite was a cherry on top! The bed is soft and the linens were smooth. I slept well all 4 nights we stayed.

This place was really great for me and my partner to spend some quality time together. There was plenty to do in Fresno and not too far from other cities we had commuted to. Being close to the airport was convenient. Overall the place was very cute and clean.

We had an amazing stay in this lovely home. The entire home was spotless, the running water was warm, and the property was peaceful. Would definitely recommend for anyone looking to get away.

We were concerned before we arrived that the lack of central heating would make for a cold stay. There was no reason to be concerned (despite it dipping to 10°F) as there are several portable space heaters and two wall heaters that were more than sufficient! We did not even need to run the wood stove after the first night. It’s beautiful there and quiet! We would stay there again.

Claire was a great host. The place was spotless and beautiful and very comfortable. The space was private, the courtyard was wonderful to have morning coffee. The space overall was perfect with clean and elegant surroundings. I will definitely stay here again while I’m in Fresno.

When traveling it's always nice to fell like you're at home. This beautiful guest house did just that. Highly recommend!!!

This place is amazing! It has everything we need! I enjoyed waking up and listening to the birds every morning. Watching the sunset with the wine that they have provided. Thank you for our gift basket! We love everything on it. You guys are so thoughtful! Driving there is so easy. Lots of places close by we enjoyed. Curtis was nice and responsive. Everything I need he is on it. Thank you for making our trip so special. We can’t wait to go back.

We had a wonderful stay at Stormy’s place! The property was exactly as described, with clear instructions that made everything easy. The place was nice and cozy, providing the perfect atmosphere for a relaxing getaway. The location was great, with restaurants within walking distance, making dining out super convenient. Plus, the view with the snow was absolutely amazing! Stormy and Tori were fantastic hosts—always responsive and helpful whenever we had a question. What truly made the stay special was how much it felt like home. Stormy and Tori had thoughtfully kept every little daily essentials. It was clear that they put a lot of effort into making guests feel welcome. Everything about our stay was worth it, from the comfort of the home to the overall experience. We would definitely recommend this place and would love to come back!

We had a wonderful stay at this cabin! It was clean, well maintained and we appreciated the great wifi connection. We had so much fun playing all the games available. My daughter loved the cute upstairs room—it was the perfect little getaway for her. The cabin was comfortable, and exactly what we needed for a relaxing time. Amanda & Collin were the best hosts ever! This place is so special & curated with so much care. My daughter wanted me to say that she even got to ride toy cars and pet the goats and chickens. This family, this house & the animals made our Christmas extra special! Highly highly recommend.

Beautiful, small cabin located near the top of the mountains, allowing amazing views, especially for sunrises and sunsets! The location of the cabin allows for serenity, lots of wildlife, and complete silence! The cabin was in pristine condition with nothing out of sorts. The owner, Tim, welcomed us and made us feel right at home! 10/10, would recommend this cabin to anyone looking for the aforementioned qualities!

Perfect location. We went for a family visit but Big Hat Days was going on this weekend! We were able to walk to everything in just a Few minutes, we really Enjoyed the event! The back yard was peaceful and the entire outdoor areas of this home are beautifully landscaped. The home is Clean and a really Cute. We will be back! Thank you Christopher and the team! Incredible! Really clever use of space, has everything you need, stocked with coffee! Hot tub was immediately available for use and instructions for the dome and hot tub were very clear and easy. Deer wandering around outside, watched them from bed. Everything was better than expected. Thank you!

Jimmy was an amazing host along with Cowboy, his horse. It was a private location very suitable for a romantic getaway. We made all our meals there. The kitchen was well equipped. Jimmy always made himself available for questions or concerns as well as giving us space and privacy. Thanks Jimmy

Stay was great. We had 2 kids and 2 infants with us. Spacious and clean cabin ! It was freezing, room downstairs was too cold for the kids. We all slept upstairs ! Host was great and very easy instructions

We had an amazing experience. The place is cozy, private, peaceful and full of supplies (kitchen, bathroom and food). Hosts were responsive and friendly. Mark kindly showed us around the farm and we were able to pet and feed the animals (duck, geese, goats, baby pigs, chicken, rooster and cats). Wifi works pretty good, there is an cooling unit if hot weather and an electric heater if weather is cold. we used the heater and work very good. Bed and pillows are confortable. Free parking space. Keep in mind this is an open space and mosquitos may arrive. 40min from Yosemite south entrance and 1.5 hrs from Ysoemite Valley 100% recommended place. We would definitely come back.

Super quiet area made for an amazingly calm stay. Tucked between a Community college and a high school that looks like it s a college... this is a great neighborhood and I will stay here again in the future

This was my first time staying at an air Bnb and my experience was amazing to say the least! Cara is a wonderful host. She was responsive and so helpful. The cottage was gorgeous and so peaceful. I felt right at home and I feel refreshed. I wish I could have stayed forever. I’m already looking to stay at her other listings since she was such a good host. I will definitely be back here in the future. Thank you so much for everything!

Imani thank you for such a beautiful place’ I’ve stayed in plenty airbnbs, never have I saw one with so many thoughtful touches as your place. From the candles, to the specific make up remover clothes, air fryer, curling iron, flat iron, steamer, sleep music sound bar, and so much more. It’s so refreshing to see!! I felt more than at home. You’re a one of a kind hostess I also read two books during my stay, the many different books to choose from seemed like I was also at a boutique library.

This place is a gem! Such a great location to Bass lake and not too far from Yosemite. The host was so incredible and very responsive. They were really helpful and really accommodated our family on a quite a few things!
