This is a fantastic place to stay in Falkirk. Easy drive to the wheel, the kelpies and Callandar house. Which are all well worth visiting. Easy walk to the town centre and plenty of shops and restaurants. Kerry's place was easy to find, had parking and was really cosy and clean. A perfect place to stay. I'd definitely stay again.

This home was full of character and was large enough for our family attending my daughter’s wedding in the city centre. The Christmas trees and decorative lights made this house homely. The park across the road was ideal for the children in our group to play . I would recommend this home.

This house was exactly as advertised. Spacious and beautiful. Perfect for two families. Check in was easy and Jacki was very responsive.

We had a lovely stay in Wooler for the trail race weekend. Adrian’s house is perfectly located, just off the high street, and lovely. It’s beautifully decorated, the bedrooms felt like a real treat to stay in, and it’s very well equipped for family groups with lots of crockery, cooking things and all the things our young kids needed (high chair, travel cot, stair gates). There are a lot of stairs which mean it wouldn’t be great for people with limited mobility, but my parents in their 70s had no trouble at all. We would love to stay again, Wooler is a great place to visit if you like the outdoors.

Angus and Anna were great hosts and their place was absolutely amazing. they were very responsive, answered all our questions, provided detailed descriptions and allowed a late checkout. Highly recommend this place for anyone who is looking for a place that is close to both Glasgow and Edinburgh, this is the place to book!

What a magical place! We had three generations of family stay for a week and there was more than enough space for everyone. Other parts of the lodge are rented out but it all feels very peaceful and private. The kitchen was very well equipped and we had everything we needed - including high chair and cot for our little one which was great and saved us lugging one with us! The drive from Aberfoyle was beautiful - probably not much fun in the dark though so heed Grahams suggestion of arriving in the daytime if you can. It was a great perk to have the Pier Cafe just a stones throw away - it’s got delicious food and lovely people working there so we definitely recommend a visit. Our only point would be it was a bit much to have Christmas decorations up in mid-October but that certainly didn’t hamper our stay - nor would it stop us from returning - which we really hope to do! All in all, a truly special stay, thank you so much Graham.

This house is stunning. Much larger than the photos suggest, extremely well equipped, very very comfortable and spacious and the perfect place for a large family gathering with no chance of anyone feeling they can't have any quiet space. So much space both inside and out. We took turns cooking the family meals in the wonderful kitchen. We definitely had a much needed family celebratory long weekend for a new baby due in December, two wedding anniversaries, 5 birthdays, a UK residency and hopefully a new job all happening in lock-down, plus a postponed wedding and to gather strength for an unexpected major operation. We loved it and only left the house on one occasion in order to make the most of the house! We will definitely be back to this wonderful special house and would highly recommend it. Fantastic property in the heart of Crieff just a few minutes walk to town centre. The property itself was excellent, the attention to detail was fantastic, little notes and helpful signs around the home which was a nice touch. The kitchen had everything you need and more. The bathrooms were lovely and clean with good showers. The garden area was great too, particularly as it was nice weather when we were there. We ate in a few nice restaurants in town and were not disappointed. Overall a great break in a fantastic property in a lovely location……would highly recommend,

we have just left Howford house after a lovely 3 night weekend stay to celebrate my husbands 40th. we were a family of 14 adults, 2 children and a newborn baby and we had the most peaceful comfortable stay. the house is fantastic, it has everything you need and the location although super private and peaceful, it was near restaurants, the coop supermarket, Traquair House and land which we got discounted because we were house guests, and lots of walks and hikes. the surrounding acres were stunning with the frost and autumn leaves. we all loved our stay, the kids (and the adults) didn't want to leave. special thanks to Elaine the housekeeper who was brilliant with her communication and help. we will recommend and be back in the future.

Great area for a short stay!

Great place for a large family gathering which is why we selected it. House and garden a real hit for both human and canine guests. Garden in particular had lots of options, particularly for energetic children. By closing the main gate it can easily be secured. Location is within walking distance of St. Andrews along the foot / cycle path, though this involves crossing a busy main road. We enjoyed coffees / lunches at Balgove Farm Shop and good old traditional fish and chips from Cromar in the town. Cairnie Fruit Farm (near Cupar) also worth a visit - good cafe and adventure playground, with the benefit of fresh berries in season. All in all a good choice, if a little expensive

We stayed for 3 nights in February and would highly recommend Diana’s house. On arrival we were warmly greeted by the host who was overseeing the pool and hot tub being maintained for our use. The house is beautifully decorated throughout. The kitchen is well equipped, the showers were lovely and warm, the beds were very comfortable and the location was perfect. Our kids loved chilling in the pool and the hot tub. Great stay and we will definitely book again :)
