Vacation rentals with a hot tub in Lothian

I booked this property for my husband and his 3 friends for his 40th birthday. Wallace was extremely communicative at all times, and was very welcoming to the group on arrival. One of the guests arrived early and while Wallace explained the place would not be ready till check in, the guest was able to fish on the loch till later in the day, and thoroughly enjoyed himself! The property was as described, perfectly clean and the location was exactly what I was looking for when I booked. It was easy to find, and the walking guides and maps of the local area were very helpful too. Would book again!

Stayed for 3 nights at this remarkable property. If you are contemplating holidaying here I urge you do it, just book it now! husband, dog & I revelled in this haven of a house and it felt mansion sized, you can lose yourself among the generously proportioned rooms. The heart of the house being the huge traditional kitchen with welcoming raeburn stove which flows seamlessly into one of the most comfortable living rooms we’ve ever encountered on Airbnb. We loved the tasteful decoration throughout & the carefully curated quirky modern & antique mix of furnishings. Outside the hot tub is of a very high, quality standard & and those powerful wee jets were an absolute tonic after a day’s hillwalking! Did I mention the owner’s attention to detail? And at last, Someone who understands the importance of silky soft & crisp bedding!! Peaceful setting with the joy of hooting owls & the odd stag grazing in the field in the evenings. It was a lovely lodge and the hot tub made my days. So warm and relaxing. It was really quiet and peaceful, surrounded by stunning Scottish scenery. I wish we could have stayed longer. The only one thing I’d say is that when you use the ensuite shower make sure no other person is using water while you shower as the shower cuts in and out and goes from hot to cold. Everything else was great. 👍 😄

A beautiful cottage in beautiful surroundings! From the moment we arrived, we had everything we needed and more. Ian was an excellent host, ensuring we had a wonderful few days. The homemade scones to welcome us were the icing on the cake!

Nice place for a few days. Close to town centre but far enough away. Had to give Scott a shout for a couple of questions and ge came straight back to me and was very helpful. Top guy book with confidence.

Amazing home from home house with the added bonus of a hot tub and a pool table to help unwind. Plenty of kitchen equipment to cook for large numbers.

We stayed for one night and we didn’t want to leave it was so peaceful we really enjoyed ourselves we’ve been telling all our other friends that we need to go again, Ben responded to the messages straight away which was a huge relief. Honestly couldn’t have asked for a nicer place we felt safe and secure. Would 100% recommend to anyone especially big friend groups who are looking to go away for a couple of days

We recently stayed for the weekend as a group of 11. The house and area is beautiful and clean. Easy access to food and local shops. The facilities within the grounds are fantastic with a Sauna , Hot tub, BBQ and a separate large games room with a pool table and darts board all with plenty of seating. We used several of the local takeaways and they were all great. We also visited a local Archery and Shooting activities centre (only a 10minute drive) which waa great fun. The hosts were fantastic , we were greeted on arrival and shown around the facilities and the house. We were offered flexible check ins which is always handy. The kitchen is fitted with everything you would need and the bedrooms were clean and tidy and most had on suites which is very helpful I would highly recommend staying here with a large group of friends and family for different occasions.

Fantastic place for any occasion - House was very spacious, decorated very nicely and the pool in the garage was amazing, plus the outdoor hot tub was lovely! Thanks for having us - highly recommend staying here 🙂

I can’t say enough about Beechwood House and Nick as a host. What a property - a real gem, beautifully maintained to modern spec. Cosy, very clean with everything you could need. The garden was stunning, we had a sunny weekend to enjoy it. Walkable to Moffat with children which was important, and plenty to do. We’ll Be back for sure. Nick was a very responsive host who left us to it but was full of intel and available if we needed anything. A fantastic experience from start to finish!

Very welcoming upon arrival, showed us where everything is. Good appliances. Comfy atmosphere. Very willing couple, will help you out with what they can! Eg; directions, places to eat/drink. Hot tub nice and clean. Can’t fault the place or the hosts. Genuinely a good night stay. Recommend 100%

We had a fantastic stay at this beautiful house in Fife! We were a big group of three families, and the space was perfect for everyone. The house is spacious, well-equipped. The kitchen had everything we needed to prepare meals for our large group, and the dining area was perfect for family dinners. The location was also great – close to local attractions and beautiful coastal walks. The outdoor space was perfect for the kids to play, and the hosts were incredibly responsive and welcoming, making sure we had everything we needed throughout our stay. We highly recommend this property for anyone looking for a comfortable and memorable getaway with a large group. We hope to return again!

Excellent place with very good rooms and en suite bathrooms. The rooms on the second level were a bit small but very comfortable. The living area was huge and the kitchen was very well equipped. The hot tub was a great addition and helped us a lot when we returned from golf. The location is very good and an easy 10 min drive to the main part of the city. The drive to St Andrews was very easy and convenient. Overall, a very pleasant stay and I would highly recommend this Airbnb.

Really enjoyed our stay for a family celebration, great open plan kitchen, living, dining and garden lovely for spending time altogether. Flexible bedrooms - able to make one a twin. Clean, well equipped and luxurious feel. Two full bathrooms. Street is quiet, feels safe and parking easy, no shops, cafes, bars etc. within close walking distance. Bus or Uber both easy to get into city centre and was nice to escape the hustle and bustle after a day sightseeing and at the festival. Suspect price was higher due to time of year and compared to other properties we viewed were very happy we chose this one. Rachel was very prompt with communication, instructions, restaurant recommendations and help when required.

What a fantastic place this is. The photos don’t really show how big this place is. We were on a short family break with 6 adults and 3 kids. The kids had an amazing time in the massive enclosed garden. The hot tub was excellent and the games room a real bonus. The bedrooms were superb and the kitchen and main living area amazing especially the views. I can’t really fault this place, or Rachael who always responded promptly, and would definitely book this place again.

To only give this Airbnb a 5 star rating feels very unfair, if I could have given it higher I would have. The property was beautifully presented, had amazing large communal spaces, with a very high standard of furniture, furnishings, and cleanliness. Our room was spacious and luxurious. The beds were great quality, and it was full of nice extra touches. The hosts were extremely generous, gracious, and friendly. A fantastic experience for us that will be hard for anyone else to top. We will definitely try to book this accommodation in the future when we are in the area. I have been fortunate enough to have many great experiences using Airbnb, but this was easily the Best.

Our trip to The Pine Martin was nothing short of amazing—it truly lived up to its glowing reviews! From the start, Martin was an incredible host, going above and beyond to make our stay perfect. He accommodated an early check-in, gave us great local tips, and was always available if we needed anything. The location is absolutely stunning! Right on the doorstep, there’s a beautiful dog walk around the estate grounds and a lake—perfect for peaceful strolls. The surrounding area has some great food spots, both in Otterburn and on the estate itself. The house itself? Just perfect. Super comfy beds, a well-equipped kitchen, and a cosy open-plan living space that made for relaxing evenings. The hot tub was also spotless and well-maintained—such a treat If you’re looking for a peaceful getaway with nature, comfort, and a fantastic host, we’d highly recommend The Pine Martin

Alice's place was lovely. We really enjoyed our stay and left a note in the guest book saying as such. I took my girlfriend away to propose (she said yes). The space was stunning, absolutely beautiful and will hold a very special place in my memory. We really wanted to use the outside bath but didn't have the chance to, so we'll be coming back for a wash at some point.

This is a gorgeous lodge to book. It is perfect for 2 couples to stay overnight with a separate lodge for each. The fire hut is a great place to relax and stay warm. The games room is fun. The hosts were lovely and very accommodating with great communication. The rooms were stunning and clean. There are massage chairs in each lodge which were amazing. The lodges are well equipped, there was an air fryer and coffee machine and Bluetooth speaker. I would highly recommend this place and would love to rebook in the future.

This was my second stay at the wigwam. My dog Rufus and I stayed for one night and it’s was such a lovely place to stay. Beautiful walks. Deer and highland cows close by. Quiet peaceful place. Inside and outside cabin was very clean and lovely. Such lovely nice hosts as well especially the wife as she was very helpful informing me of the outside bath and topping it up. Will 100% be back.

A beautiful Place, perfect for our young family. Everything looking brand new and clean, A lovely big kitchen area for prepping food packed with every utensil you could ever need, Smart tv's in every bedroom ideal for the kids and even Sky tv in the Living Room, fast reliable Wifi, Hot Tub worked perfect and was very clean. Would highly Recommend and will certainly be returning! Emily was also quick to respond to any queries i had and was most helpful!

My husband and I stayed here for 2 nights to celebrate his first cancer free birthday in 5 years and it couldn’t have been more perfect. The cabin exceeded my expectations, it has been built to the highest standards and takes advantage of the most beautiful surroundings. It is stunning inside, plenty of natural light in each room. The log fire was lovely at night and kept the place very warm and cosy. The kitchen is well stocked for whatever you may wish to cook. Samantha left us a beautiful hamper full of treats and took the time to personalise a few wee things. The outdoor bath was also lovely! We spent most of our time watching the wildlife on the loch. There is a pair of nesting swans which are so fascinating to watch. Lots of other bird life including ducks and geese, our wee dog loved watching them all too! I have already recommended Tirahs Landing to friends and family. It’s a very special wee place that’s full of surprises!

This place is a hidden gem. Rosie and Jim are excellent hosts, they made our stay incredible and we had the most wonderful new year. The house is better than in pictures, the surrounding fields and beautiful landscapes are truly incredible. We had a great stay and would love to come back!

We had a great stay at Barn Lodge. The lodge was clean and comfortable and as described. The hot tub and outdoor seating area were lovely and we enjoyed sitting looking out over the amazing view. The location was great for a day trip to St Andrews.
