Beautiful Georgian pet friendly (1 well behaved dog) cottage in the lovely location of Heswall on the Wirral Peninsula. Amazing dual aspect views across the River Dee onto the Welsh Hills and out to the Irish Sea. Property has been refurbished to a very high standard. We have done our upmost to ensure you have a wonderful relaxing stay. Within walking distance to lovely bars and restaurants and a 10 minute walk from the coastal walk. great place to stay just what we required for our trip to the races. the house was very spacious and had all the amenities you would need. Had games room in the back garden that I'm sure would have been fun to use if we had time. plenty of room on the driveway for a few cars and local pub around corner. would recommend for anyone to stay if in the area

Apart from the lack of playing cards on offer…. What a place this is!!! Group of us watched the grand national and decided to stay out of town so we could chill and play some board games. She left a bottle of Prosecco and some eggs for us which was a lovely touch and even offered to go and get some playing cards lol. Can’t thank you enough for the hospitality, we’re already thinking about booking for next year!

This is a great place to stay for families or groups. It’s a spacious house with lots of beds and bathrooms. Walking distance to Anfield, the backyard is cozy and the living room is not the biggest, but really clean and has a good vibe to it. Would definitely stay here again. Clear 5 stars!

Really enjoyed our 2 night stay at The Drift Barn while visiting family in Liverpool. Lovely accommodation - nicely converted barn. Easy to find with great directions from host. Good layout downstairs and everything provided for a comfortable stay. The host even left us fresh bread, milk and butter so we didn’t need to dash to the shops on arrival - local amenities are less than a 5 minute walk away. As there were only to two of us we used the largest bedroom, which was spacious with such a comfortable bed! However, the other bedroom looked lovely too. Since our return we have also recommended it to a friend who is due to visit Liverpool shortly. Thanks again for a lovely stay. Tip: if planning on travelling across the Mersey Gateway toll bridge into Liverpool, do download the Merseyflow app to automatically pay for your crossings.

We absolutely loved staying at Lindsey’s place. Everything was so thoughtfully arranged and so homey. We travelled with our 1 year old daughter and honestly it was a dream. There was a high chair, toys to play with, books to read. An enclosed garden with a swing and a slide (a thrilling favourite). Little details like soft carpet on the stairs and around the patio doors and a back door that could be opened at the top but not the bottom so we could get some air but contain the toddler. Everything was spotlessly clean and everything we needed was provided and easy to find. We would stay again in a heartbeat! Thanks Lindsey!

Great house with a very helpful host. Responded to questions before we arrived and made sure everything was ready for us. Great to have easy access to parking and was helpful in directing to another option for a second car. Good location with an easy walk to The Spine for a conference and able to walk into the city centre in about 25 mins. Overall very good stay.

A great place to stay near Ellesmere Port (and Cheshire Oaks). Exceptionally clean and a very welcoming host who provided clear and helpful instructions. Good parking. Some nice touches such as electric black-out blinds and TVs to most rooms. Good WiFi. Would book again in future (as it is close to family).
