The hotel has a unique vintage charm, and I liked the atmosphere. The host is friendly and helpful, arranged a twin room for us upon request. The room was clean and sunny, and the smart lock made us feel safe. A few things to note: the windows aren’t soundproof. Also, a bit strangely, there was no Wi-Fi in our second-floor room, and the TV didn’t seem to support screen casting. But overall, it was a pleasant stay.

Beautiful old style hotel set in lovely grounds, the staff were all really friendly and helpful. I was able to bring my dog with me to eat, the chef even cooked some chicken for her. The bed was massive and really comfortable. They ensured to put me in a downstairs room so I had easy access to the garden for the dog.

Really nice stay. Location is right beside a main road, so very easy to get in and out of the city centre with Uber or a cab Gary was an excellent host, very responsive and most important, he's a red. The entry into the building is really cool, with lots of Liverpudlian and Liverpool FC references. A fun fact, the couch in the lobby was formerly of the Players Lounge at Anfield. Place is good value for money paid, I would recommend staying here, especially if attending a match. Anfield or Goodison is less than 2 miles away.

I have nothing to complain. nothing what so ever. came there for the obvious reason, Anfield Stadium. it was very near. the bartender was very nice, very helpful, and even help me take a picture of me around the hotel. will surely come again.

Great value for a 2 night seaside stay with my daughter. Very responsive to texts before trip, phoned to offer a choice of rooms and arranged early check in to time with train arrival. Complimentary Easter chocolate for my child on arrival, friendly and helpful staff.
