This was a clean, comfortable, well-stocked, peaceful place with fantastic views. The location was convenient to both Lexington & Buena Vista and there’s tons to experience in the surrounding area. Highly recommended

Glasgow House was an amazing place for my wife and I to stay as we waited to close on a house in nearby Lexington. The rented area is spacious and peaceful. We enjoyed the beautiful art on the walls and made good use of the kitchen, which had everything we needed. The back patio was a joy. We spent many mornings watching the spectacular sunrises over the hills and almost as many evenings under a dark sky stargazing and listening for the howls of cayotes and the hoots of owls. Elise and Eric were great hosts and made us feel very welcome. We often enjoyed walking around their property and along the gravel road, which leads to it and runs alongside the clear waters of the South River. The most memorable moments of our stay involved the numerous animals that share the property. The deer (including many fawns), woodchucks, rabbits, and turkeys were plentiful, and we also saw several bald eagles. We are so grateful we had the opportunity to spend some time in such a wonderful place.

Lexington is such a charming place and we loved our stay here. Paul is so thoughtful and communicative. Breakfast supplies are a huge bonus! The woods creek trail to W&L campus is just down the street and of course Main Street is also just a short walk away. The kitchen is fully stocked and the beds are comfortable! Lovely stay in a quiet neighborhood.

Demaree's place is wonderful! We loved the yard and the space. You can walk everywhere in downtown Lexington from the house. Can't wait to stay again!
